I came here for a bridal shower on a Saturday afternoon. There is a parking lot across the street, which is very convenient. The place is small, but we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. There is a bar area and a seating area. They are farm to table, and it shows! All the food tasted so fresh. The staff were very friendly, and they were quick to prepare our dishes once we selected them. Would recommend for a private event but would also try this just going out to eat casually!

Me and my girlfriend went here, food was unmatched. The mussels were incredibly fresh. I got the pork and she got the scallops. We will will definitely be returning here. 10/10 service and the food is farm-to-table.

Kale salad with salmon. So fresh.

Everything was good. Food was great. Many fresh and healthy options. I had kombucha with my meal and it was refreshing.

I enjoy sitting in the bar area. It's actually less noisy and chaotic than the dining room. Service was very attentive. I tried the Your Heart Is In My Pom mocktail. It could use a splash of ginger ale. The food was fantastic. You must try the sweet potato coconut soup. So delicious. Arancini balls were perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey inside. Halibut was fantastic. Nice and meaty. Short ribs were served over pappardelle pasta in a mirepoix. I appreciate the originality, but I'd prefer the short rib with mashed or a crispy potato cake. No dessert this time. We had a great meal.

Such a cute restaurant with great outdoor seating in downtown Natick. The drinks were delicious and the waiter was great. He knew a ton about the menu and had great recommendations. The bruschetta was so good (and small) that we ordered two. I tried some of the kids mac and cheese and it was also yummy! Their cornbread was to die for as well. I definitely recommend going for a date night or a girls night and trying to sit outside!

Tonight I went in for an appetizer and a cocktail. My servers name was Miranda and she was the best. Did a phenomenal job of explaining the new menu. Very personable and the definition of hospitality. Would recommend Buttercup to anyone, make sure to request Miranda's section!

Loved everything about Valentines at Buttercup! The Baby Bee cocktail was fantastic and the mushroom risotto was absolutely delicious. The farm to table vibe of the restaurant was super cozy and welcoming. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Buttercup is a restaurant located at the center of town in Natick. It was my first time going to the restaurant after a last minute reservation with my mother. Having grown up in the area, I was excited since there aren't many farm to table, upscale restaurants in the area. As for food I shared a dozen fresh oysters which were east coast oysters- delicious and tasted fresh! I also received a recommendation to try the Short Rib Pasta, which to be honest was very salty. Not sure if the plate I got was overly salted by accident but it was too salty. Otherwise taste was good and I'll have to try the dish again to see if it's consistently salty. Drinks looked unique with their ingredients (such as dragonfruit!) choice but it was a weekday so opted to skip out on drinks. I would say for the price you pay for the dishes I was expecting a lot more. Next time I would love to see more diversity with the clientele as well- definitely felt a little out of place. We walked into the place at 5:30pm which was 15% full only to be seated at the front door (with a freezing windy draft). It was strange so we asked to be put further into the room and was re-seated only upon asking. Server was quick and kind though so we left a 30% tip despite the okay experience. Ambiance was refined, homey, and warm. Taste: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Was here on a Thursday night with one other person and had such a great experience. I ordered the beet salad and the sourdough bread to start and the spring ravioli for the main. The sourdough was great and the olive spread had great flavor with it. I also asked for some olive oil to go with the bread and I really enjoyed that with it. The beet salad was also well done - the beets were nicely seasoned and was a good size for a starter. The ravioli main had great strong cheese flavor and was extremely buttery on the outside. For dessert I tried the valrhona chocolate brownie and my friend tried the strawberry shortcake. I thought the valrhona chocolate brownie had a really strong chocolate flavor and was quite large for how dense it was - definitely would be best shared. I think the strawberry shortcake had a great strawberry compote and cream, however, the shortcake part was a bit more bread-like than I expected. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and service and I look forward to returning!

Crispy as you'd expect, but filled with crab and not just a bunch of cream cheese filling. Perfect start to the meal. I had the swordfish for my main. It was spiced wonderfully and cooked well. The cous cous side was nice and bright (cold), and the tomatoes mixed in provided a nice acidic bump along with the dressing. We've been a few times now, have always enjoyed our food and will keep coming back!

This was our first time going since it had opened as the Fireside Tavern. It is fair to say we were underwhelmed. My wife ordered a Dirty Martini and it had a lot of vermouth in it which is not the correct way to prepare it. For an appetizer we got the Calamari which was very good. Crispy and tender with delicious hot peppers added in as well. For the main courses we got the Chicken Piccata severed over Gnocchi which was good but nothing special. Gnocchi were a bit denser than we like. Our other main was the Seafood Paella. On the plus side it had a lot of seafood in it, mussels, Shrimp, Scallops and a white fish. All of the sish was cooked well and was tender and juicy. However it did not appear to be cooked in a Paella pan so you didn't get some of those bites of crispy rice and the seasoning was off it had no saffron or tomatoes like I am used to. It was more like a plain rice that they added peas, carrots, and red pepper. Just didn't taste like any form of the paella that I have eaten previously. Jenna our server was awesome and attentive but not overbearing. She was fantastic and made for an enjoyable evening.

The food is DELICIOUS and the portions are huge. Food is fresh and made to order yet still comes out quickly! Staff are very attentive. Our recent orders have included the Truffle Shuffle Omelet, No Name Omelet, Porky Pig Omelet, Hot Mama Omelet and the Island Breakfast. All were incredible. The house made pico is super fresh. We usually ask for the sour cream on the side as opposed to on top of the omelet. My parents said the coffee was really good. Great array of hot sauces to choose from as well. There is a great mix of people in the restaurant every time we go. People from all over and from all walks of life (families, elderly patrons, young couples, etc.).

I am usually a vodka martini girl but this gin martini is just SO good. They got new martini glasses since the last time I ordered this drink and I'm obsessed with the new presentation. My martini arrived in a tall narrow martini glass and the "extra" was served in a chilled mini carafe. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHEN RESTAURANTS DO THIS. It makes the drink feel a little bit fancier and helps keep the drink fresh. It also makes you feel as though you are getting two drinks for the price of one . We sat at the bar per usual and shared the half nachos (+ candied jalapeños and chicken). We love the way their nachos are served and honestly the portions are huge and very generous. We couldn't even finish the half nachos between the two of us! The nachos are always LOADED and have such unique flavors. My favorite cocktails at Bourbon's are: Saturn (not currently on the menu but they are typically still able to make it), Clear Intentions (clarified Mai Thai with the most incredible flavor profile) and Freezer Door Martini. 10/10 recommend all 3 of these but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their cocktails.
