This is a nifty coffee shop that serves some interesting pastries and biscuit creations along with a selection of ice cream. The ice cream so far has been in flavors that just have not remotely appealed to me and their glaring bright neon glowing colors also make me fearful to even sample the flavors. Wow! I like to try local coffee places whenever I travel and you never know what you'll get. This place is a must-visit when you are in town. I'll admit at first sip I wasn't excited. The coffee has a different flavor, but after a couple of sips I was in love! I got a hot mocha coffee and my partner got a hot salted caramel latte. The coffee was hot and smooth. He said his tasted like toffee. Yum! We also got a cinnamon roll that was huge and obviously freshly made. I didn't know what challah was, and they have a bunch of challah bread options. I chose the ham and cheese and I was not disappointed! It has creamy cheese and chunks of savory ham wrapped inside the challah bread, which we agreed tasted like a pretzel. They had some other challah options and the blueberry muffin looked amazing! Prices seemed pretty average for a coffee/breakfast place. They also have some cute items in the gift shop area, which is just a little corner of the store. It is a very small place with some outdoor seating. We got our items to go but there was a line waiting to be seated. The service seemed a little slow for a to-go order, but they were very busy for a Wednesday morning. You will not be disappointed if you decide to visit this place! I will definitely go every time we are in Orange Beach. read more

Wonderful little breakfast cafe, with lots of options! They have delicious biscuits that are so fluffy and buttery. You can get a cat head biscuit, which is your typical sized biscuit (maybe larger) or a kitten head biscuit, which is perfect for sharing! It's like 6 little biscuits cooked together, and you can pull them a part. Great to share if you and some friends just want a small amount of biscuit with your meal! You can get cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, homemade pop tarts, stuffed challa rolls, and so much more. They have tiramisu, ice cream sandwiches, and coffee as well. The staff is really friendly, and even when it got busy, they were on top of it so every one could get seated and eating without waiting too long. If you are in Orange Beach to visit (or live there!) After our first morning at Gulf Shores, we quickly realized that we needed to have someone else cook us breakfast and coffee to go with it. One of the locals recommended this cafe to us so we decided to try it out. Upon entrance, you will quickly realize that cats are the theme of the place with everything except live ones. I actually struggled to decide what to get as the menu was pretty diverse and everything sounded delicious but I finally opted for their Buzzcat Breakfast which came with all the breakfast staples. The food came out quicker than we we got through the line which was something I seldom see. The food was delicious and everything tasted of high quality. The redskin potatoes were not as soft as one would expect but still went down the hatch with ease. To wash down the whole meal, I got a cold brew mocha that tasted on par with all the other coffees I tried and got me through the next couple hours. All in all, this was probably the best breakfast place I tried while in Gulf Shores and definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

Wonderful tasty treats Me, my husband Bob, and my son Ayden wanted a precious treat while my other kiddos were out at their nanny's house. The employees seemed busy so it took a little to get our indulgent pastry's. My son Ayden got cotton candy ice cream. Ayden said it was the best ice cream he had ever had in his entire 8 years of living. The nice woman came to get our treats for us . Our first time here- what a gem!!!! So quaint! Loved the front porch! The decor was all cat themed and bright colors! Very comfy indoor seating and cute gift section! Wow. The quality of this place has declined substantially. Don't be fooled by the good reviews. My coffee was a cup of milk. I'm honestly not even sure they added espresso at all. The baristas need serious training. The lady checking us out seemed pretty unhappy to be there. The food was decent but not worth stopping for alone. Buzz cats We live 2 blocks from here. We go there on Wednesday and Sunday's when it's not too crowded. Why? Jesus I wish I knew. Buzzcats literally have no concept of customer service EVERY SINGLE TIME we have issues when we come here. Back to why I come. It's the only place around I can get a cinnamon roll with out driving 10 miles. Strange right? We always go inside order food then head to patio to eat. Today some new girl, who used to work here before & is back again, said we can only eat outside if we have a waitress. But we can order and eat inside with NO waitress. Ya ok. Whatever. I don't care who brings my food. So no biggie Waitress comes over, btw this is a walk up coffee and pastry shop with interior/exterior seating. So waitress takes order. We specifically say cinnamon roll with EXTRA FROSTING. cinnamon roll comes with virtually NO frosting. This is always a reoccurring theme with these people. At this point you know it's intentional. So I asked to send it back and please put frosting on it. Keep in mind that I'm mindful to be sweet and respectful to keep my food from being tampered with They bring it back and the frosting is cold which made the entire cinnamon roll cold. I take it inside and explain the cinnamon roll is now cold and could they warm it up. They take it and do whatever. I get it back and try to eat it. Of course it's so hot you burn yourself now. And on top of everything, it is rubbery. They literally turned the dough into a Michelin tire. The wife is now ready to blow a gasket over all the ineptness . And I'm trying to say it's no big deal. It's what we have come to expect from a place that caters to 90% tourist. They don't care if they piss them off because they won't see them again But locals, you're really hurting your base with the locals. And now that the season is over, you need us to sustain business for the next 6 months So ya, keep serving rubber tires to locals and tourist alike. Keep you crappy self serving attitudes. Love that they are a local shop just doing great things. Staying busy and making the necessary adjustments for covid.
