We had eaten at the neighboring Luna's and wanted key lime pie; our server suggested BuzzCatz. We purchased two tiramisu and one key lime tart. The tiramisu was not good. The ladyfingers had not been soaked in coffee liqueur and it just tasted off. The texture was weird...not sure it was made of marscapone. The key lime tart had little to no lime flavor, almost like it had been made with regular lime juice. It was not tart. Very disappointed with both of our selections. This place has amazing breakfast & voted best breakfast in Alabama by someone:-) We've heard nothing but great things about this place and it took us long enough to get here but we finally arrived and hungry. It's a coffee shop, pastry shop, breakfast joint and cool place to hang out. We were here for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. I had the Thursday special $5 three egg veggie omelet with spinach and red peppers with cheese. It doesn't come with anything else so I added the local Connecuh sausage and one if their famous scratch biscuits. The omelet was big & fluffy and delicious, the biscuit was also big & tasty plus I ordered one if their in-house cinnamon rolls with cream cheese, awesome! My sweetheart ordered the veggie quiche and she was delighted. The menu has lots of great looking items but of course I can't vouche for them, yet. Food was Okay, potatoes were very oily. They have to get a better system with providing coffee. Several of us came up to the counter several times to try and get a second cup and they didn't have any. My wife didn't eat her eggs because they were too salty for her taste. read more

Nice friendly staff and welcoming. There's seating inside and out. Bring your pet and sit outside, there's a water bowl for them. We went in for coffee today and will go back to try some of their food options. I saw homemade Belgium waffles on the board! YUM! The daily made biscuits, blueberry biscuit with glaze, muffins, quiche, and more looked so good. We may even go back to get a custom made ice cream sandwich. My husband and I got a latte and did not disappoint! My mother ordered a decaf vanilla frappe and finished it before leaving the parking lot. This is a little gem for Orange Beach for sure! Always love this place!!! Not only are the staff friendly and attentive, everything is always fresh with a rotating menu to keep it that way. All health precautions in place i.e. staff wear masks, out door seating and sanitation station when walking into the building as well as social distancing. 75% of tourist still don't seem to wear masks but that's every where in orange beach & Perdido key. My husband went to pick up breakfast and coffee this morning while I stayed at our rental. The Buzz bowls for breakfast were delicious, even after the ride back to our place. Lots of flavor and definitely very filling. But the iced latte... not so great. He asked for extra espresso in it because I like them stronger. Well this one didn't taste like it had any expressions at all. Tasted like milk and caramel flavoring. Had hubby try it too, he said it tasted watered down which I agreed with. Stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The other breakfast places were packed so I thought perhaps I found a hidden gem. Nope. Walked in and saw a long line for carryout coffees. The place had several tables inside and more outside. A sign directs you to seat yourself. Decided to sit outside. It was about 75% filled but there were more than a few empty tables. People seemed happy. They didn't seem to be eating anything but they seemed happy. Sat down and waited. After a few minutes I decided to pull out my timer. After reaching the 10 minute mark and having had at least two waitresses walk by without even uttering a word to my party I decided to leave. I'm estimating that three or so minutes passed by prior to me setting the time. It's a fair assessment to say that 13 minutes passed without a waitress stopping by table. Got up to leave and magically the girl came out complete with notepad and pen in hand. Too late sweetie. We'll go elsewhere. read more

After passing this place up last year and vowing to try it out this year no matter what, it breaks my heart to say it wasn't worth the trip. It's a very cute place with an awesome courtyard. We all had the tiramisu which was $5 a piece. I had a latte and my girls had iced coffee and a milkshake. The drinks were good but standard and the tiramisu was awful. It had a fruity flavor to it that just did not belong. It was also too soggy in texture. We love tiramisu and have eaten it all over but this was just no good. I have been looking for a coffee shop in the area and finally found BuzzCatz. We had a blueberry muffin, iced lattes, a milkshake and a chocolate chip frappuccino. The milkshake and frappuccino were amazing. Unfortunately, the iced lattes tasted very watered down. The ice melted immediately, and the vanilla flavoring was not detectable. The blueberry muffin had an awesome taste, but I asked for it to be heated and it must've caused it to be tough. I'm thinking if I wouldn't have gotten it heated, it would've been amazing. Staff was friendly, but only one person was working so it was a bit slow (understandable bc it's a small, local shop). Overall, I'm giving them 4 stars...better than the local Starbucks that is never open. I'll definitely return. read more

She could not have been any more attentive, kudos to hiring team! Total bill before tip $17.60. Best Buy of the week! Don't change a thing; by the looks of the crowd present when we left....others see a great value and the place is in immaculate shape, super clean!! While we were just passing through, this little coffee shop is definitely a nice escape from the beach for some shade, a plethora of carbi-deliciousness, and coffee. If you love cats...this is also your spots. While I did not meet a live one, they have some really cute home, kitchen and kitschy knick knacks that'll have you thinking of your favorite cat lady. I order the Iced Cuban though I've never had one before and was really pleased with the price to product size ratio and the drink was good. My friend order an Cold Brew that tasted watered down. I think it's just important to ask how drinks are made since some spots make them differently than what you might be used to. The porch was lovely and the property around the coffee shop really well landscaped. If you're looking for that break from the beach and a hearty breakfast, pop on over here! read more

Fresh Roasted Coffee and the Best Biscuits Ever We went there for breakfast and we were not disappointed. You walk in and go up to the counter and place your order. Find a seat and wait for your number to be called to pick up your order. I had the Hollah with bacon or Conecuh sausage and it was full of flavors. The star of the Holla is the homemade biscuit. Only later did we learn that Chef Asbury is an International Biscuit Champion. After the Holla I know why. My wife had the peanut butter waffles and they just melted in your mouth. Fluffy, moist and loaded with flavor. Another great breakfast stop in orange beach. Clean, great food, friendly staff and atmosphere and very reasonably priced. A must try. read more
