Food is always good. Drinks are well made. Service is fast. Overall an excellent "dive bar" . Love it best in warmer weather.

We have had a previous great experience here before but after today I will not be going back. I had two people come with me and they had out of state IDs, while mine is a WA ID. The server took our IDs, after we got them back my WA ID came back as "unsure" on their scanner. Mind you, I have drank and ate there before.... And we are from out of state, I just got my ID a few months ago from the DOL, I have not had any issues with it until today. They denied me service but my friends with out of state IDs were allowed to stay. We all left and called to speak with manager a bit after. The manager suggested for me to tell the DOL I'm having an issue with it scanning, as the solution. Again, I have not had any issues with my ID ANYWHERE but here. The situation was ridiculous and handled poorly. This place is not worth it anyways. I will happily go spend my money somewhere else. read more

On Sunday ordered the spicy, deep fried cauliflower and it was really good! However the coors light draft tasted icky, like strawberry or something. A friend of mine ordered a burger and fries but his order never came. When he asked about it, the server person/ bartender told him they forgot to put in his order. A group of us (10) stopped into Buzz's on our way to Ocean Shores. Automatic gratuity was not added to tabs due to our size. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Buzz's is a 21+ establishment. A 20% service fee is added to all tabs left open overnight. Happy Hour is offered Monday-Friday from 2pm-5pm on food and drink. Buzz's offers a full bar. Indoors, one will find pool tables, Magic Coin game, shuffle board, pull tabs and a couple TVs. A large outdoor seating area is available to enjoy on warm days. While looking over the eclectic menu, I slurped on a Bodhi and my wife slurped on a Manny's for $6.50 each. My wife and I shared the Southwest Chicken Club Sandwich for $17.99: grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato chipotle mayo on a toasted hoagie bun. We chose tots as our side. Our sandwich was served with a generous amount of fresh produce and protein. It was delicious. Service and staff were efficient, friendly and fun. My prawns were delicious, I really loved the coleslaw, garlic bread, and cocktail sauce that was a little "spicy", 10/10. First time at Buzz's and I am going to be a regular. My chorizo scramble was off the charts. Spicy enough and wonderful flavor. They offered warm corn or flour tortillas. The portion size was so big, I'll eat the rest later. Alexis and Rachel were super nice and attentive throughout my visit. I am impressed and will bring back friends. Way to go Buzz's! An update is much needed. We eat and drink here all the time now and it's quite the drive for us, but it's worth it. The service is better than anywhere else that we frequent. The food is great nowadays. The prices are relatively affordable compared to other places where the service at those places is inferior to say the least. Great place to go watch the game with a group of friends and there's outdoor seating for the summer and covered area too out there. The bar is long and the stools are just the right height. Probably our favorite bar in the area. An extensive menu of good food, plus specials that are posted on social media daily. My favorites are the spinach prawn salad, the crab stuffed avocado, and prime rib. But I've never had anything bad. Oak, the owner, is the best and always comes out to say hi when she is there. Visited this place late on a Monday night looking for a place to get a few drinks. We were visiting from Los Angeles so we didn't know what to expect. This place hit the spot in many ways. The ambiance is very chill and laid back, locals just hanging out having a good time. The staff was very welcoming and took our order. I rarely give 5-stars to a dive, but Buzz's deserves it. If you are anywhere near Olympia (or heading to the WA coast on 101), I implore you to make a stop. Food - mostly had basic fare, but it's all done well. And the food is very reasonably priced. Chef's kiss to the chef(s). Brunch is my jam at Buzz's. Staff - the bartenders don't mess around, and they are pros. The local crowd shows up before doors open on weekends. The bartenders handle the rush with speed and grace. Ambience - it's a dive, isn't it? But 5-star rating intact for the ample indoor seating choices, and funky outdoor options. Nothing like Buzz's on a sunny day. Crowd - motley assortment of Mud Bay/Olympia. Which is to say kind, affable, not terribly diverse. It's aight I love em. They are real people who work real jobs and lead real lives. read more

Don't let the appearance of this place put you off. It's definitely got a "dive bar" atmosphere but the menu has a large variety of choices and the food is really good. This place is for sure a must go too dive bar if your headed to or from Olympia. They have the typical bar food but also some amazing Korean dishes . The spot is owned by a Korean woman. They have pool tables and a shuffle board. They also have outdoor seating looking the mudd bay but when the water is up it's a great spot ! I ordered the bulgogi beef and it was delicious the rice was cooked to perfection and it was served with some cabbage and carrots and some fried gyoza. I even had leftovers to take home. We are brown Californians driving through rural Washington and we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Every place that popped up was closed on Sundays, so my husband made an executive decision and pulled over at this place. We walk in and EVERYONE was white. LOL! Except the cook of course! Despite my concerns, everyone was super friendly and the food was great! I loved the authenticity of the patrons and the employees. The people I conversed with all seemed to be locals who frequent this establishment and knew the menu quite well. I had the Rodeo burger with excellent onion rings, and the hubby (who's on Keto) had the Buzz's Burger wrapped in lettuce with a side salad. We were both extremely satisfied. The food was good and clean diner style breakfast, large portions, well seasoned and excellent service. The atmosphere was fun, I enjoyed the smell of black coffee, someones burnt toast and a few guy friends having beers for brunch and a chat about their gals, aw the sweet smell of public dining and the noise of people again, FINALLY. About once a year write an update on this place purely to post updated pictures of all the new items we have tried in the last year. Same good food - yes Covid raised prices here like everywhere else but I still think it is a good meal for the price. On a positive note, covid caused the expansion of the outdoor space along the water, which I really like - before it was a small patio and mostly used by smokers. Now on a nice day, you can really sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Probably my favorite food this year is the salads - they are huge and really yummy! read more
