The teamwork is magnificent! Thus, if you are looking for an excellent framing company we strongly recommend Right Way Framing Company, LLC from North Carolina. Juan and his crew are knowledgeable (about log homes), reliable, and conscientious builders. Juan will do it right! During this process, we learned how to use google translator English to Spanish. Communication is very important, and the google translator helped us to understand that our log cabin kit was missing a lot of items to construct the shell. Something we did not expect... Juan was aware and would request materials (rough cut beams, LVL beams, venting, etc) anticipating the need to complete the work. My husband was able to work with Juan and have items delivered to the site. The crew has excellent skill for building our log cabin shell. They make special details and thanks to them our outside is close to completion. They are efficient with little product waste. They make sure the cabin is square and add some nice exterior finishing touches. We are more than pleased! In just 5 construction weeks. Less than 35 days.... We are ready to move to the interior. Our next step is to hire the roofer (for shingles), electrician, and plumber. We give them 5/5 stars for their work! Nice people. We have a beautiful log cabin!

BEWARE!!!! It took me a while to write this review because at first I wasn't sure if it was safe…read moreto do so, based on the way this contractor behaved. But I just got finished giving a glowing review on this site for the contractor that actually ended up doing the job and the site had a pop up for me to review Deck Doctors. So here goes... Joe came out to do an estimate to repair my existing deck . At that point, he just rattled off a random price. I told him I needed time to think about it. So after a couple of weeks, I contacted him and he said he was still interested in doing the job and said he would come out to do the work the following week. But he never followed up with a written estimate. I told him that I needed a formal quote/contract to go over exactly what he was going to do for the price. He said he would. But he didn't and also didn't show for the job. I should've run then...but I followed up with him to see if there was a problem or misunderstanding. He apologized and said he was tied up with another job and rescheduled to come the week after. At that point, I made it clear I was flexible and to just let me know when he was available. I told him again, that I still needed to have a contract before he did any work. He said he would and that he was free to come the following week. The next week comes and he's a no show again. I called to tell him I was done and he was slick and told me the lumber was being delivered to the house the next day and he would be there to go over everything. At this point, I really should have cut and run...but dumb me gave him yet again another chance. Sure enough...the lumber was delivered, but he hadn't shown up. I called him and he said he would be there the next day. Next day comes and it's almost noon and hadn't heard from him. I called and he said one of his guys would arrive shortly and he would be there about an hour later after him. So one of his workers show up with no clue what to do, but said he guess he would start breaking down the old deck. Huh??? I told him not touch anything cause we hadn't had a contract for work. I called Joe and he still says he's about an hour away from coming (eyeroll). I told him I didn't want any work to start until we talked and had something on paper. He gets an attitude and proceeds to try to convince me to at least let his guy start to breakdown the deck and rudely tells me not to just have him sitting there wasting his time. Finally, I had had it and told him to tell his worker to leave my property and take his lumber with him, said bye and hung up. So the guy did load up the lumber and leave. Then this jerk (Joe) texts me a picture of the job he was working on and bragged about how big the job was and that's why he didn't have time for my job. The nerve! I told him to never contact me again and blocked him. A week later, I was so blessed to find a wonderful contractor that did a great job! So glad I dodged that bullet!!!!
