I made an appointment with Nathan a few days ago to check my MulTLock on my sliding glass door. It wasn't latching properly and lock was somewhat stiff when trying to open or close. He arrived on time, was very pleasant even though there was some craziness going on at my condo complex with street sweeping today. Anyway, he started with lubricating the locks and after examining the way the door closed, he told me the key-lock part was actually fine...it was the latch that needed to be replaced. Since we use this door as a main entrance, it's used much more than a normal sliding glass door, so it just got worn out. He had another locksmith to refer me, since he didn't do this type of repair. He charged me nothing to diagnose this problem, and said he would call the other locksmith and give him all the information with pictures of my door. About 1 hour later, Semko from Coast Locksmith called me and was able to come by about 2-3 hrs later and replaced the latch mechanism. Now it works great! 10/30/2015 @ 10:30pm - Sent a Yelp message to Nathan for a quote to re-key the locks and to change the code on the keypad for my new home. 10/30/2015 @ 11:00pm - Nathan responds with a quote and says he would be available as early as 9am the next day but would need an hour window. So, I book him for 9am. 10/31/2015 @ 9:15am - Nathan texts saying he's on his way. 10/31/2015 @ 9:30am - Nathan shows up, works on the locks, and teaches me how to program the keypad at no extra charge. 10/31/2015 @ 9:50am - I pay Nathan, we shake hands, and he goes on to his next appointment.
