One of my garage door cables became undone. After watching a few YouTube videos and fixed it, the other side came undone! After all the frustration, sweat and cuts on my hand, that's when I realized that one of my garage door springs had snapped in two, I gave up and found this company. After speaking with Blaine, he was able to send out a guy the next morning between 8-10. I had called back after our phone call and left a message requesting if they could either call or text when they were 15-20 mins away just in case I was out running errands or busy on a call at work. That didn't happen. I was out doing an errand. Around 8:45 Adam shows up and I'm not home. Luckily I left the side door open for him to inspect everything. I rushed home and spoke to Adam who inspected everything he said yup, for sure our spring needed to be replaced. We also had him change out both garage door cables too. After about 30-45 mins Adam was done! Boom! Garage door was able to open no problem! Adam was kind enough to give me a quick 101 on how to maintain our garage door too. I'd give this company 5 stars because of how fast and efficient Adam worked. Only thing I would have knocked off for was if they could've just shot me a quick text/call on their way over. The first time L&S came out was to replace the springs back in 2015 and later the box and I still contact them for any garage door related issues. Today the garage door would only open half way and get stuck. I looked up the error code and figured it's better to contact L&S. I left a voice mail and Blayne texted me back. They are closed on Sunday so he was able to have Adam come and look at the issue. The appointment was for 4 pm and Adam arrived at 3 pm. Grateful for the early arrival. Adam did a quick troubleshoot and explained the issue to me. He reset the box and the problem was fixed. He explained the rollers on the doors looked like it needed to be replaced and told me how much and if whenever I wanted it replaced, they can do it (which I will in the future). The belt on my garage door opener had worn thin over time and would no longer properly raise and lower the door. L&S very professional. We had L&S over a total of two times. The first time was for a broken spring which was serviced by Mike. Unfortunately before calling L&S we had to get our garage door open to get to work so we messed up the motor of our original garage door. Mike got us set up with a new garage door spring along with a new Chamberlain motor and opener. Cost was fair in our opinion and the new garage door system was an overall upgrade. He informed us that there is warranty in setting us up. After a few months our garage door has been having some sensor issue where the garage door would close partially and would only close after multiple attempts. We decided to follow up with L&S and this time Blayne came by over. Blayne was able to analyze the issue and make his recommend configuration along with realigning the sensor. Blayne also provided us information on what to look out for all within about an hour. When it came time to settle up, he politely informed us that this was covered under warranty and there is no need for payment. They arrived within a few hours, inspected the door, and ordered a new spring -- our garage door is old and made of heavy wood, so it needed a specific type.
