As it came time for me to shop for my own dress, Kelly's was at the top of my list.  I ended up working directly with Kelly after my originally assigned stylist was unable to make it in due to surprise snowy weather. Kelly is amazing - she asked questions to get a sense of what styles I liked, how I wanted to feel in my dress, and overall vision for my whole day. She pulled me some beautiful options I would have never chosen for myself, and gave me such individualized care and attention through 9 dresses. She also talked me through alteration possibilities for each of the dresses, and answered any questions me, my sister, mom, and mother-in-law had.  Kelly's is a must - knowledgeable and kind staff, wide range of dress styles and price points, boutique experience, incredible in-house alterations, and a variety of accessories. It could not have been a more positive appointment and environment, with Kelly herself regularly checking in on me and my party to make sure things were going smoothly. Our stylist was lovely and so helpful with changing in and out of the dresses (which I later learned is not the standard at all shops), picking out dresses for me to try, helping accessorize the dresses, etc. My best friend and sister had both previously gone dress shopping in ATL, and when we left they both commented about how they'd wish they'd come here as well. All of the dresses here seemed to be very affordable (I tried on lots of dresses, all under $1500) and I was able to find one on sale for an amazing price. They looked just as nice as dresses that were going for $2K+ at other stores! McCall was super helpful in assisting with getting the dresses on and off as well - I went solo shopping so it was nice to have her in my corner. I really appreciate Carrie's for delivering quality service without breaking the bank. Some other bridal shops wanted to charge an appointment fee just to come and try on dresses. I highly recommend coming to Carrie's!

From the very beginning, she took the time to really listen to what I wanted in a dress and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. She pulled a wide variety of gowns that fit my style and vision, and I never once felt rushed or pressured. When I narrowed it down to two favorites, Kayla was so patient and thoughtful. She walked me through the pros and cons of each dress, asked great questions, and helped me see how each one could work for my big day. The fabrics are good quality, thick laces, nothing looks cheap but yet all the dresses are very affordable. The staff here is great but I highly recommend Nancy. She's the sweetest, most helpful, definitely patient, consultant. I would say overall I was pretty underwhelmed with the customer service I got, which is really important, especially when you're spending as much as you are on a dress. I'm also basing this on the experience I had at other salons to be fair. At no point did I get a phone call prior to my appointment to get to know me better or to try to make sure the time that I spent at the salon is maximized. Also, they wouldn't allow us to take any pictures of our dresses and insisted that they're the only ones that could. They said they would send us the pictures after. I didn't want to rush to make a decision on the spot and wanted to see how I felt after the fact. Even a few days have passed, and I have yet to receive my pictures from the salon. I even called and asked for them. Ironically, they had the dress I wanted, but because they took so long, I found somewhere else I'd be willing to give it to me and actually had great customer service.

I would strongly caution anyone against using Bridal Sense for alterations. My experience was…read morenothing short of a nightmare. They completely botched what was supposed to be a minor alteration and ties for a French bustle incorrectly. When I tried on the dress, the poor workmanship was glaringly obvious. When I attempted to explain the issues, the staff there were dismissive and rude, treating my concerns as if I was making them up. They left me standing there alone with the dress while they attended to other customers, despite knowing I had a scheduled appointment. To make matters worse, my dress was dirty and unpressed at final pick-up, contrary to what had been agreed. I had to seek out another tailor to fix their shoddy work which was immediately noticeable to them, which caused unnecessary stress and expense just two days before my wedding day! I did send an email requesting a refund for the failed alterations in an attempt to resolve this directly, but have yet to receive any response from anyone at the shop. I cannot recommend Bridal Sense for alterations--they clearly lack professionalism, skill, and customer care.

I was told that anything I bought unless it was a sample would not make it to me to be altered in time and I began to freak out. I'd been to try on wedding dresses at three different shops prior and this was by far the best experience I've had with the most quality gowns. The owner, London, was my actual stylist and she was so attentive and thorough. I sent her inspo photos prior to my appointment and she curated my looks to a tee. I got to see myself fully styled with the dress of my dreams! And as a plus-size girly that meant a lot when I often ran into issues with some of my dream dresses not being in a sample size that I could really appreciate on MY body.
