We had C&C install a new gas furnace plus heat pump, and a new on-demand water heater. There were a number of call backs to get things running properly - that was fine. But since then we have had a difficult time getting service. The technicians are great when they do come, but the office is terrible at scheduling time. We often get no response to emails about needing service and rarely get called back when we leave a message. We have finally moved on - which has been a hassle as other technicians scratch their heads about C&Cs installation. Our friend, a contractor who recommended them, has also dropped them from his list for the same reason. Don't waste your time with them. read more

We've used C & C Olympic Heating many times and are grateful for their work and to continue using them going forward. When we first moved into our house, the A/C wasn't working well and there was a lot of water in the utility room coming from the furnace, C & C Olympic Heating came out promptly (in the 90 degree summer weather) and fixed the problem for us! The fix has held since then and we're glad for it. The following winter our thermostat broke so that the A/C and heat were both on full blast, leading to our house being quite cold (and ice building up on one of the pipes coming into the furnace). This of course happened over the holidays so we couldn't be immediately scheduled, but C & C Olympic came out at their earliest opportunity, identified the problem and replaced our thermostat bringing our house back to a cozy warm state. We've since had C&C come out yearly to do a checkup for our furnace and heat pump and it's all been good. We appreciate their work keeping everything operating smoothly! read more

My wife and I wanted to install AC into our house this spring versus keeping multiple AC units all around our house. Got quotes from Black Lion, MM Cooling, and C&C. Chris and team were awesome when they came over to check out our project and suggested great ways to help quiet our furnace and AC. He walked us through every step of the process and we felt like we were working with a family friend. We were able to get on the calendar, and Chris and the install team were super quick, courteous, and even pointed out other things around our house to watch out for. It felt like we had an advocate for us, not someone trying to sell us. During the install he even helped out our father in law with a part for his broken down AC that he was getting quoted from other companies for $5K. Chris knew what the likely cause was and gave him a $10 part and it fixed everything. These are the guys you should work with. Our immediate family has had three full furnace with a/c installations plus two tankless hot water heaters installations completed by C and C Olympic Heating, as well as routine gas fireplace and furnace maintenance. We are repeat customers because of the exceptional quality of C & C Olympic's work. They do not cut corners and do the job right. Chris spec'ed out our jobs with right-sized Trane equipment and was on the job throughout the installation. During the last two installations, they found obvious problems with the equipment being replace. Flex gas pipe was used when it should have been steel pipe. A flex furnace duct was stretched so tightly it would handle only half the air needed. These problems were fixed by C & C Olympic during their installation work. C & C Olympic honored their original quote, to the penny. The installations were all clean, textbook examples of how heating and a/c equipment should be installed. They have been upfront and honest with us at all times. You may save a few dollars using another contractor but you'll not get the value (price + quality) found in C & C Olympic's work. Had them out to replace a thermostat for me, based on their high rating on Puget Sound Checkbook (similar to Angie's List or Yelp, except with more local reviewers for this kind of service business). They had the part they needed and the expertise to install it quickly. Prices were a bit on the high side, and the technician was a bit chattier than he needed to be. But neither of these things would stop me from using them again by any means. And he didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, he just went on at some length about different parts and options and specs, which is actually helpful. read more

I love these people!!! My 40 year old heater finally succumbed to old age at the start of our 2019 SnowApocalypse. I feared I would have to wait months and pay an exorbitant amount. I called C&C who had been maintaining my furnace since 2010 and they got out to see it the same day. And on the NEXT day - with the storm scheduled to hit at noon - a team of five men and three trucks descended upon my house. Even the owner was here to make sure they got me heat, even if there was not time to fully finish the duct install before they had to get home. They were professional and friendly and honestly cared about me getting heat back before the storm. Today they came back (without me needing to even call) to finish the intake duct assembly and adjust blower speed. C & C Olympic Heating - Brand new furnace during SnoApocalypse - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Martha Lake, Washington

After the multiple wildfires (and resulting horrible air quality) the last two summers, I decided I wanted central AC. I also knew that our 30-year-old gas furnace was old and tired (and probably not too efficient anymore). I could not decide if I wanted a new furnace and heat pump or a new furnace and central AC. I made appointments with three different companies. The resulting estimates were as low as around $9,000 to as high as $20,000. After the first two appointments I had pretty much decided I would go the 80% efficient gas furnace/heat pump route. Much of this was based on input from the first two companies in which I don't feel they adequately assessed my needs and partially based on the fact that some friends were telling me how awesome heat pumps were. My third appointment was with Chris Cannon, owner of C & C Olympic Heating. There were multiple things about this appointment that stood out from the previous two appointments/companies: 1. The owner of the company came out personally to do the bid. 2. He adequately assessed my needs. In fact, the appointment was roughly 45-60 minutes long. I decided that a new furnace and AC would work better for me than a new furnace and heat pump. 3. He did not attempt to oversell me. For example, he determined that I could use a smaller AC unit than what the other two companies had suggested. This was due to the fact that we have a reverse floor plan (we spend out about 80% of our time on the second floor). So, in the summer when I need AC, I'll close the vents on the ground floor and only need to cool the second floor. He also didn't suggest the same size furnace as we previously had, as the new one would be 95% efficient and the old one was probably 60-70% efficient at this point. 4. When I asked him who would do the installation, he stated that he and his team would do it. He would be on site most of the time (and he was). 5. The price was excellent. 6. He's just a nice guy and I felt he was very genuine. At one point during a text, he stated, "We are looking for a relationship here with our customers for years to come - not just a sale." The installation went extremely smoothly and on time. I love my new furnace and thermostat (and remote thermostat) and I'm so happy to know that I won't have to endure 90+ degree temperatures in our house next summer! Our experience with C&C Olympic Heating was one of the best we've ever had with any company, period. Chris and his team are professional, thorough, honest, very capable, and dependable. We had an old furnace threatening to fail on us, and we'd been thinking about adding central air for a long time. C&C gave us a really reasonable bid for the job, and far exceeded our expectations - Chris and his crew removed the old furnace, and installed the new unit, along with new A/C, in just one day! Cris and his team are fantastic. He is an expert in his field. They have serviced our natural gas furnace for nearly 10 years, and throughout that time have been responsive to our needs. Stick with a reputable ACCREDITED business. These guys are not accredited with BBB for a reason. ORIGINAL POST: Watch out for this company, they scam/take advantage of customers. They are no different than a shady mechanic who cheats to get customer service, relying on volume, rather than repeat customers. We called on a crunch, because our handy man ALREADY diagnosed a problem and knew what part we needed for our water heater...BUT he did not have the part. We called C&C to see if they had the part, and they said they do. So we agreed to pay for them to come and replace the part since they already had the part (rather than our handyman trying to locate it and then installing). C&C shows up WITHOUT the part, and wanted to charge us for troubleshooting the issue. We were as SPECIFIC as you can get, telling them we already know what the issue is, AND what part we needed. For them to lie just to be able to come out and then charge us is unbelievable. We of course turned them away. HOWEVER, they are demanding payment now, and even sent this account to collections. It's an easy bill to pay but for PRINCIPLE, I will continue to fight this. Watch out for companies that try to bully their way and cheat customers out of money! read more

I have used C&C for about 3 years now on a host of projects between work and rental houses and from simple yearly maintenance, filter changes, to complete new installation and advice. They have always shown up on time or before, (with a call to my cell phone by the tech on his way) and have always had great pricing and excellent communication on the status of the project. My most recent interaction was a complete new furnace installation at my house converting from old electric heaters to a gas furnace. My wife and I were set on a heat pump installation. Chris came out to the house, talked to us about the pros/cons of a standard furnace vs. heat pump style and laid out the cost differences between the two, and helped us make plans to install with our difficult house layout. After much deliberation, and to fit within our budget, we ended up going the standard furnace route. Chris and his team were on time and on budget with the install, and all of the service was done with a smile on their face. I read nightmare reviews of multiple different heating and cooling service companies which had me worried. My gas furnace quit working on Christmas 10PM just before weather forecasts of temperatures of highs in the 20's and lows in the teens for several days. I was worried my water pipes would freeze. Sunday after Christmas everyone was closed. On Monday I called multiple companies but was looking at mid January appointments. Then l called C&C Olympic Heating and was told someone would come between 12 and 2 pm that day. At 12:30 Chris showed up and diagnosed the problem quickly. It was just a capacitor. Air conditioner was running for extremely long periods in afternoons. Contacted company and technician came out quickly. Checked thermostat and discovered that settings were off which caused the long run of the system. Reprogrammed the schedule in the thermostat which should alleviate the issue. Technician took the time to provide explanations of thermostat program terms and processes. We can now utilize the thermostat programs correctly. read more

We decided not to replace the furnace at that time and when I told them, they were pleasant and told us to call them when we were ready. A few months later our water heater was leaking a little water and I called C&C. They arrived quickly, checked our water heater, said there was nothing wrong and didn't charge us. Today that same water heater finally quit and I called C&C again.
