    Nachos with brisket

My wife really liked the brisket sandwich. I loved the nachos. 3 cheeses, jalapenos and the delicious brisket cut into 1/2 squares. Friendly and efficient staff. Full bar

I was excited to have BBQ. Unfortunately this isn't the place. Brisket was half fat, order was wrong. Will not go back.

I came in hoping Bleachers could replace our regular sports viewing place. I am just not happy with…read moreBWW in Beaverton, but two things will make me give up the search for a better sports bar...1) the size of the TV's. 2) Service, while being inconsistent, they actually come to your table to take orders. When I entered Bleachers, I sat at a table directly across from the bar. The female bartender seemed to act like I had to go to the bar to order my beverage and get a menu. She did tell me about the $2.00 Taco Tuesday promotion, but I was in the sandwich mode. I am not a fan of the bartender eating in front of customers, but that is what Bleachers is...basically a dive. The poker machines, or whatever they are, were all full. The bartender told me the Chicken Tortilla hot was not spicy so it seemed like a good choice with my Patty Melt. It was okay. I ate about 1/2 of it. The Patty Melt was loaded with onions, which typically is not a bad thing...but I couldn't taste the cheese, 1000 dressing or even the burger. It was at least served on rye bread. The thing that I noticed was that at least three people came up to the bar with an empty glass, wanting another. Two corrections...get the bartender in the restaurant as well to take orders and check on her clientele or add a server to take orders. I guarantee sales would increase, or maybe they are in the sales prevention program. Service was non existent and food was just okay. I will not be back.

I want to like this place mostly due to the location but the other day my experience was one that…read morewill make me think long and hard to going back. I was sitting at the bar listening to three customers, who were obviously regulars, making homophobic comments. The bar tender joined in the laughs. While I know Bleachers is not a "gay bar" it should work on making everyone feel welcome.

I came in on a Wednesday evening on an off sports night and the bar was quiet. The music was…read morejamming classic rock through a good sound system. I started with a tall double Captain and Diet Coke. It was a heavy pour. Two thumbs up. Great way to begin the evening right. I can see this place packed on a game day. There are standing bar areas in between the actual bar and booths around the perimeter. For my dinner, I ordered some appetizers as I wasn't very hungry - Sliders and chicken tenders with an upgrade to garlic parmesan fries. Slider buns were crispy from the griddle. Little Hawaiian buns. The burger sauce kind of tasted like thousand island. Wasn't my favorite but I am not a big fan of anything other than ranch or ketchup. The chicken tenders were a tad dry but I dipped them in sauce and they were fine. Five came to an order. All of the sauces were all good. My Waiter was Brian who was also the bartender. He checked in on me a couple of times. He poured one heck of a strong drink. I was happy as a clam. This is my kind of place. Enjoyed it so much and the convenience of the location that I returned the following evening and ordered the same thing. I was helped by Christie. She was just as professional, attentive and cordial as Brian. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had a few beers, and the bartender was fantastic--she let me sample a couple before I picked one, which was really appreciated. The food was great too. I ordered the sliders and mozzarella sticks, and both were delicious. The atmosphere was fun, the service was friendly, and it was the perfect spot to watch soccer with friends. If we're back in Portland, we'd definitely come back!

I'll speak to the lounge/bar part here, which also has several different sides. First, the bar is your standard, modern-looking L-shaped counter, a bunch of stools, etc. it's not quite divey -- seems like it's aspiring to greater heights, though the dimly-lit tables and booths on the other side of the room would beg to differ. There are other tables out in the open, near the big window, better lit and with more of a restaurant vibe. It's all good; you got a nice happy hour, and above- average food for any bar or pub (hence the Kitchen) in the vicinity. The bartenders have all been spot-on, attentive but not pushy and a joy at happy hour. And yep, the chow I've had here to date has been resoundingly tasty, with the cod fish tacos (three) served up nicely slathered with lines of crema and paired with lots of avocado slices. Nice. Hummus plate was a winner too, the fresh hummus working against a nice, robust mix of fresh veggies. Plenty of food here. This is from the regular menu, which also sports a lot of familiar entries --- burgers, wraps, salads, fish and chips, even vegetarian options. Im down with this side of the Silver Birch; the actual kitchen/restaurant looks like it's on the other side of building (separate), so I can't speak to that but I would like to try it sometime. In any case, I like the joint better now than what it used to be, which was a Chinese restaurant; it's airier and lighter and has a better menu. There's karaoke, and the game room has plenty of entertainment. Also, it's located right on a roundabout, so getting into the small on-site parking lot can be a bit tricky.
