They were able to get me up and running the same day as well as give me a run down on what needed to be taken care of next on my car. My car is fairly old with 170,000 on it at this point and a pretty difficult little mess. They were realistic and willing to have a real conversation without arguing when I told them I really was just trying to get this car to run for another year or so. That was all about a year and a half ago. Since then, there is almost no one else I will trust my car with. Ive been back 3-4 times. Changing oil, changing my ignition pin, replacing my rear differential, electrical work, my negative battery terminal, and fluid changes. Every time is a great experience. Everyone is friendly, they speak to you in terms you can understand, they have a nice little waiting room where I can always get work done, the prices are super fair, and the service is so fast and handled with expertise. I needed all 6 batteries in my (new to me) 2011 Class A motorcoach evaluated for…read moreperformance/replacement, so I decided to bring it to Auto Truck and Electric in Reno for inspection and service. They quickly evaluated all the batteries and found they all needed to be replaced as they couldn't pass the load test. I expected this given their age and usage etc. Scott and Keith provided excellent service and support through the entire process and the Dekka batteries they provided are well known as "top of the line" (I did my own research on battery suppliers). This business operates like "the old days". A handshake is a contract, and they back up their work unconditionally. This was best evidenced when I had an issue with the coach batteries (low voltage) several months after installation. I discovered the voltage on these batteries was low while taking the motorcoach out of winter storage. I was sure one of them was bad so I called A&TE and told me to bring it right in. They recharged all batteries and determined they were all fine. Later I discovered the shore power at storage facility I use was interrupted for much of the winter. I offered to pay A&TE for their additional work, but they refused saying this was covered as part of the job. Awesome! Going forward, these are my go-to for all battery and electrical related issues with all my vehicles!

I brought in my Tesla Model X for adjustable rear camber arm installation and alignment. I arrived…read moreon time for my appointment and it took two hours before the work began. The work took all day. At the end of the day when the work was completed, I discovered that the car height was uneven. The car was stuck in jack mode. I pointed it out right away and the manager told me to make another appointment if there was a problem. I was sent away with major suspension problems to drive home in a very unsafe situation. I immediately made a new appointment for them to fix the issue. I brought it back in, and they resolved the jack mode and leveling issue. Within days, I felt a change in the vehicle suspension. When I accelerated, the whole car torqued/twisted one way. When I let off the accelerator, it torqued/twisted the opposite way. I immediately brought it into a different shop for inspection, since I was out of state on a road trip. Immediately, they discovered that the rear wheels could be wiggled by hand. Upon removing the wheels, we found that the bolts that held the camber arms on were visibly loose and backing out. They said that I I drove any further, the bolts would have fallen out, leaving the car damaged and crippled on its undercarriage. When I notified the shop of this issue, they refused to connect me to an owner or manager. They refused to accept any responsibility whatsoever, instead claiming that it was not their fault since I supplied the part. It is incredibly easy to find the torque specs for this equipment, but they clearly did not bother to do so. The lives of me and my family were put in severe jeopardy. All they would do is brush it off. Disgraceful.
