He provided and recommended a few sets of wheels for all the driving I've been doing lately and my personal preference in how smooth the ride would be vs. a thicker tire and feeling bumps here and there in the road, but get more miles of warranty. I chose to pay a little more so I would be prepared for the snow and get more warranty on my tires. I was able to get a minor alignment, oil change, and my new tires balanced and put on my car within an hour and a half or so that I waited for my car. I cannot recommend Tony and his shop anymore than I do in person to my family, friends and coworkers. If you're looking for an honest mechanic, stop by his shop or give them a call. I was visiting from out of state, so I was worried because I didn't know any local shops and was afraid of being charged for unnecessary repairs. Instead, this mechanic took the time to properly inspect my vehicle and was honest about what he found. He discovered that my car was extremely low on oil and explained the situation instead of immediately trying to sell me expensive repairs. After following his recommendation and driving the car, it has been running great. At the end, he even jokingly said, "Hopefully I never see you again," meaning he hoped the problem was solved and that I wouldn't need to come back for the same issue. That comment really showed me that he cared more about fixing the problem than making money from unnecessary repairs. I truly appreciate his honesty, professionalism, and integrity. I looked up tire shops in Reno and El Camino popped up. I gave them a call and was "come in there's no wait". I got there 20 minutes later and Tony greeted me with "Hey, we were waiting for you". Which was nice to be remembered. He quickly got the tires out the back and started the install. There was a waiting room for me and my girls. The total install time took less than 30 minutes and I got them installed and balanced for $124 out the door with the recycling fee. I'm coming back next week to get an alignment done. Tony was super friendly and I'll recommend to all.
