Nothing fancy, just some quality girl time with a splash of polish. We were seated pretty quickly, which gave me hope... but plot twist: apparently being seated doesn't mean you exist. We sat. And sat. And sat. Like decorative plants. Meanwhile, folks who came in after us were whisked away like royalty on a spa-themed red carpet. Technicians were assigned to them faster than you can say "gel upgrade," while we remained the lonely peasants in the land of Deluxe. When I (politely!) asked the host what was going on, he snapped back with the warmth of a nail file: "You only paid for the basic service. You have to wait for the basic attendant. There are three people ahead of you." Ah yes, the basic attendant--a mystical creature who apparently appears only during lunar eclipses and coffee breaks. At that point, my granddaughter was giving me the "Can we go now?" eyes, and honestly, I was right there with her. So we got up and left--with no polish, no pampering, and no plans to ever return. So if you're looking for a place to feel judged by your choice of pedicure tier and ignored like a clearance bin nail file, Deluxe Nails & Spa has you covered. So going in, I got the gel x service because I love this technique...which I shouldn't have done because initially the receptionist said they didn't offer it but then quickly got told by another employee they do. My nails are chunky and uneven. After asking multiple questions and voicing my concerns, the receptionist didn't have the nicest attitude. I also had to hold a black light flashlight to assist doing my own nails??? Which was very odd to me. Lol The lady who did my nails was so sweet though! If they weren't experienced with the gel x service, they shouldn't have offered. With all of that, they were phenomenal with my toddler and her gel nails are so cute! Maybe they just need more practice with gel x but I still had to pay full price for nails I wasn't satisfied with.

This place is ridiculous. Came here under the premise that it had nearly all 5-star reviews only to…read morebe completely thwarted on quality and customer care. First off, the place was dark and messy, no music, and only one person working, so my mom and I had to take separate turns to get manicures. Next, we both got BASIC SHELLAC manicures. And when I say basic, I mean, he barely clipped all my cuticles, and gave me about an 8 second arm massage. Then, he painted our nails with shellac polish. Which truthfully, I probably could've done a better job myself with 10 broken fingers. After he a finished, I was UVing my hands in a machine that was intermittently shorting out during each :60 interval and will probably lead to a structure fire at some point. So now that the polish is dry, you can see all the imperfections, such as having more polish on my skin than I did on my actual nail. And THEN, ON TOP OF THAT, he charged us $25.00 each. When we walked into the place initially There's a sign on the door advertising a FULL SET of acrylic or solar nails with polish for $20.00. So, you're telling me that a basic manicure that a 6 year old could've have executed is more expensive than a full set of fake nails. Give me a break dude.
