My brother ended up finding D & J Piano Movers, who are right out of Azusa. My brother called them on a Wednesday night and they gave him a quote right away (it cost $200 to move the piano about 8- 10 miles away from my house). D & J Piano Movers was great because they did let us know that they would be able to pick up the piano this past Monday (it would have been earlier but my schedule didn't work to be where I would be at home during designated times). On Thursday, they let my brother know that they would come on Monday between 9- 11 am. They called on Monday morning to let us know that they be arriving in about 15 minutes. They parked on the curb by our house around 8:50 am and got ready to start moving the piano out of our living room. The process was smooth and easy. I also asked them to take a box to my brother's house that held all the sheet music and music books.
