These guys did a great job and worked extremely hard, from 8am until 10:30pm with barely a break. They wrapped up everything diligently and didn't leave one thing behind. We'll be using them again to move back after our house is remodeled. I did a fair amount of research before choosing a moving company and I'm so glad I hired Dynamic Movers! They were the ONLY company to do an in person walk-through of the apartment we were moving out of so that a truly accurate estimate could be provided. It made me feel at ease to know someone was actually looking at everything that needed to be moved and to know there wouldn't be any hidden charges on my bill on our move date. I was given a (very competitive) hourly rate plus a flat rate for the moving materials and that's exactly what I was charged. They were also the only company to provide me with a certificate of liability insurance. Jose Mendoza was super professional and a pleasure to work with. He was very patient with me and the many questions I had about the move. I appreciated that he took time to explain everything to me in detail and didn't try to rush me. He showed up early for both the estimate appointment and on the day of the move - super punctual! Jose and his guys (3 men total) worked very efficiently. They moved everything with care and wrapped all of the items that required extra protection, like dressers, tables and wall hangings. They provided wardrobe boxes and even helped us transfer clothes from closets to the boxes. They had their own tools to carefully disassemble and reassemble furniture. They were masters of fitting everything into the 24-foot truck and filled it from floor to ceiling - it was like a real life game of Tetris! I would like to point out that my move was not an easy one. At my old apartment they had to take everything down one flight of stairs before loading onto the truck. The walking distance from where the truck could park at my new apartment complex to my actual apartment was FAR. Jose and his guys seriously hustled and worked their butts off. My bed frame wouldn't fit in the elevator and they carried it up 7 flights of stairs! They barely took any sort of a break. I did try to make them eat and made sure to keep both refrigerators (at old place and new place) stocked with cold water. Again, I'm so happy I hired Dynamic Movers as it really couldn't have been a better experience. Jose and his guys worked so hard and did so with smiles! Jose sent Rodolfo and another Dynamic Mover, both of whom were efficient, polite, cleanly, helpful, thorough, and most importantly -- hard working. These guys not only moved my furniture (and some small belongings that I couldn't fit in my car) from point A to point B but once in my new home, they were willing to stay and help with several other projects: dismounting and remounting 2 TVs, disassembling and reassembling a wooden bed, building a loft bed and bookshelf, building a dining room table, a bench, and 4 chairs...the list goes on... We had the best experience with Jose and his team for our cross state move! I would suggest him for any move big or small, and our family will certainly use him again in the future for all our moving needs. Jose was suggested to us by a friend and in all honesty I was nervous about hiring a smaller company for my big, long distance move. I'm so happy we did! I called 4-5 other big companies and got quotes from each of them and because we had storage time and two separate moves involved most quotes were $10k dollars or more. Pros: * Jose was very professional and on time * Very fast, when he stated 4 hours they did the job in four hours * We were away when they had to move items back into home (stressful as you can imagine) and we were so happy to see everything back to it's rightful place * I think this is a positive, but he responds via text (which I like) and can schedule a phone call. He is pretty busy guy and was responsive despite being on the road with other customers. Cons: * Only critique, and you could argue I should have pushed for this. I do wish there was more of the statement of work on paper, and the majority of business was in good faith. Incredible and impressive! These guys are the masters of fitting large things into small spaces! We needed to move really large glass closet sliding doors up to our condo on the 8th floor and several people previously told us (after trying) that the doors wouldn't fit in our elevator and would have to be taken up 8 flights of stairs by hand, which is why we called Dynamic Movers. Imagine our surprise when these guys proceeded to defy all laws of physics and geometry and load the monster doors into our small elevator and succeeded!! Jose is fantastic. I've moved probably 9 times in the last 10 years - all with professional movers including state to state moves and a transatlantic move, and José is at the top of the list. He confirmed the move 5 days before, showed up at precisely the set time, and his guys worked flat out until the job was done. His guys were great as well. The only thing to know is that he won't have the same systems as larger movers (email confirms, credit card acceptance etc). But, that being said, that did not detract from the quality of the move one bit. And, having so much experience with professional movers and complex moves, I feel well equipped to tell you that without any equivocation. Incredibly disappointing, sloppy work by some of the crew. No common sense used. Just rush, rush, rush without thinking. Jose promised 4 PROFESSIONAL movers plus himself for a price, then, on the night before starting, wanted to only bring 3 guys plus himself FOR THE SAME PRICE. When I said that was unreasonable and asked for a price adjustment, he apparently hired a day laborer to fill out the crew, but charged us as if he were one of the pros. In one box we found two empty smaller boxes along with other items. In another box, things were obviously just thrown in instead of packed. Someone packed used, empty, plastic shopping bags that were being saved for recycling, NOT for moving! Duh! Also, Jose cannot be trusted to keep his word in any verbal agreements, even though he and his crew seem friendly and happy. Always get any moving agreements and side agreements IN WRITING, particularly with this company! read more

They all worked extremely hard and had fantastic attitudes along the way. We were not completely packed and ready when the team arrived and that did not phase them. Our move was broken into two parts with moving certain furniture and belongings into a smaller house while other furniture and belongings went into a storage unit. They maximized our usage in the storage unit by packing it very efficiently, allowing us to use a smaller unit than originally anticipated. When it came to moving furniture into the house, they went above and beyond what we asked of them by moving furniture multiple times until we found the right fit for everything.
