I've used One Move three times now and they're still the most efficient and reliable movers I have used. Appreciate the accuracy of quotes, speed and efficiency of the team, clear communication and just overall really positive and friendly service. I always have a huge amount of glass and other fragile items that need to be moved and the team is always respectful and does a great job protecting surfaces, furniture and goods. I had a move with Tonga and his excellent team. It is the second time I have used this moving company, after I had a great first experience. When requesting/scheduling, the admin team is very pleasant, accomodating, informative, and proactive in arranging and confirming the details of the move. They also had a slot quite close to my request time and had the details of my first move at the ready! As for the move itself, I was moving quite a lot of items/boxes and requested packing service for some other items as well. The team called ahead and arrived on time as scheduled. Each team member was careful and diligent packing up my items. I haven't fully unpacked but what I have unpacked at my new location has been carefully protected with packing material and loaded with consideration to location (i.e., master bedroom items separated out and labeled vs. bathroom or closet items, etc.). Additionally, despite the scope of my move, the team came in well under quote! The team was very careful and considerate in handling furniture and proactive in asking how it should be arranged. I called One Movers after reading some really good yelp reviews. There were a couple critical things I needed: The first is the ability to be very careful with expensive furniture. Next, they had to move some heavy things up a flight of stairs without damaging the walls in our brand new home. And last, we needed them to take things apart and put them back together. Tonga Paea and Lou came with a huge truck and got the job done fast. They also helped me turn my old house into an Air BnB by moving furniture around, taking beds apart, putting rugs down and putting beds back together. I was amazed at how i walked through the home one time and told them what needed to go and what needed to stay. It was complicated and they got it exactly right. I would use them again and again. We hired One Move Movers to pack and move our stuff from Fremont to Cupertino. With work and other things keeping my wife and I so busy, we just didn't have time to pack things up ourselves. Sergio (Guillermo-Martin) and his team did awesome work! They came between 8-8:30 am on both Saturday and Sunday (as promised) and worked fast and efficiently. It only took one day to pack, and then one day to load and unload. They also disassembled and reassembled our stuff. My wife and I were amazed at how well organized they were and how quickly they worked. Much better than the moving company we used a few years ago. We would definitely hire them again for our next move (but hopefully not too soon because moving sucks!). Also, they were reasonably priced. We had gotten a quote from another moving company and they were about $1000 higher than One Move! This is our third move in three years (not fun, haha), but One Move Movers has been our choice every time and it's been incredible. The first two years we had Tonga and his team load up their truck and move us from one place to another in the South Bay. This latest move was particularly stressful because we're moving out of state and I accidentally booked One Move Movers' packing and loading services for THE WRONG WEEKEND and didn't realize until the night before I was a wreck and called them on a Thursday night at 5:30pm, sobbing, asking if they have any availability for the next day. Tony called me 30 minutes later and they miraculously had an opening the next morning. Mely and his team came promptly at 8am to begin packing up our 2 bedroom apartment. They did a phenomenal job! The three of them went above and beyond to wrap and pack everything with extreme care, asking clarifying questions and packing any hardware alongside furniture that required disassembly. And when my partner came with a big Penske truck, his team helped direct him into the spot (something I could have never done). It was a big job (9 hours to pack and load), but the team had a great attitude the whole time and made us feel so taken care of on a particularly stressful day. You might get quotes for slightly cheaper from other companies, but I promise you, OMM rates are worth every penny for the quality and customer service. This was our second time using One Move, and our move went seamlessly once again. This time we moved within our same apartment building, and it was really easy to set up with One Move's staff. We immediately got an estimate and were told what to expect and what is included. Tonga and his crew were our movers and they arrived a little early, even giving us a heads up. We had some delays on move day sorting paperwork with our front office, but the moving crew were really patient and understanding. We have hired One Movers twice to move us locally, the second time just this past weekend. Both moves went very smoothly, from start to finish. For our more recent move, we coordinated with Ray to schedule, had their residential specialist do a video walk-through, and then Ray promptly followed up with a detailed quote via email based on our specific needs. All scheduling was handled promptly and professionally, and Ray was quick to answer any questions I had. We received a confirmation text two days ahead of time, and on the morning of the move, Mely called and messaged when they were 15 minutes away. He and the four other movers arrived on time and got to work right away. The entire moving team did a great job of protecting and securing our furniture, which included a few items that required additional care, including an upright piano, a mirrored table, and one tv. When we arrived at our new house, the crew placed everything in the appropriate place and would ask before setting an item down when they were unsure of where to put something. I so appreciate the care they took with our belongings! If/when we need to move in the future, I will be reaching out to One Movers again. We hired One Move Movers for an hourly labor job (4 hours work) to dig through our 30' storage space, find our master bedroom set, large couch, large chair and ottoman and assorted boxes, and move these items to a local residence. Gregory Jorge and the two additional guys were fantastic! They worked quickly and efficiently and were very accommodating in digging through a lot of boxes to find everything we needed. They were able to schedule our move one week after the first phone call. Mely and his team arrived on time and finished the job quickly, in around 4 hours. Just used OneMove over the weekend for our move. (7/2/2023) Tonga, from Tonga, was the leader and what a joy to work with! He and his team were fast, thorough and thoughtful. Tonga worked with us on removing several pieces of furniture we got rid of and was very transparent with what the cost would be. I have used OneMove a lot over the years. My management company had to relocate several units and we exclusively use OneMove. When it was my turn to move, I also used this company. You can use other companies who are less expensive, but they will drag their feet to make you end up paying more. One move is professional and they show up on time. TLDR: The friendliest, most experienced, professional, movers you can find. This was our first time using One Move Movers to complete a 1 bedroom apartment move from Sunnyvale to South San Francisco (all in one day). Domingo, Rolando, and Miguel were the best movers I've ever had the chance to work with. They were an excellent balance of fast but delicate with our items. If you find yourself in a situation where you can't quite pack everything yourself, they have great intuition for how and where to pack things safely and securely. Furthermore they also disassembled and reassembled our bed frame (in addition to taking care of our mattress) and other necessary furniture for us! They even gave some tips on keeping things in good condition for the long run :) Relative to the cheapest moving companies, one can argue this service is pricey but relative to other established, professional, high quality moving services One Move definitely is competitively priced. It was amazing to be in our new house and already have our furniture assembled and in it's new spot on the first night!
