Oh my goodness it was so incredible! It was somehow dense but moist and light all at the same time, with the most satisfying texture... and the flavors! When adding drinks to our order, the lone man working there asked me a few times whether I really was ordering coffee for a child (and yes, she settled on a mocha when it was determined he only knew how to sprinkle matcha powder on the pancakes, and hadn't a clue as to their application to drinks). My grandson ordered their 'special hot chocolate' which pretty much tasted like watered-down Ovaltine. We sat outside to eat and after a few bites and finding these were nothing like the fluffy Japanese pancakes they'd expected, we threw away $44 worth of what was supposed to be a pleasant breakfast experience. I guess this was a life lesson for the kids, that our expectations aren't always met. And I want to prevent any other adults from making the same mistake I did in taking my business there!

I love their almond croissant, even though it's not usually my first choice. There are so many layers and it's so flavorful. The server was incredibly friendly and offered us to-go bags. But we finished everything in one sitting. It is a lot of carbs but everything was just too appealing and delicious. We bought one of the mixed berry pies, which are the perfect size to share between two people while sitting in the car. This pie was easily the best pie I've ever eaten!
