Can't say anything about the food because I left before I could order. It wasn't even that busy, but no one stopped to even greet me and my mom. We stood at the entry for a little before we realized it was a seat-your-self, which was confirmed when I made eye contact with a server across the restaurant and pointed to a table. My mom and I sat our selves down and started looking at the menu. It's a pretty small menu, but everything I read sounded really tasty. The server came by and placed two waters at our table and walked away without saying anything. Then the waiting game started. The server walked past our table at least 5 times while bussing other tables, taking food orders from other tables, and bringing drinks to other tables. We never even got an acknowledgement that we were there other than the waters being abruptly placed on our table. We waited about 10 minutes before we just left. Doubt anyone even noticed. I've never felt so unseen at a restaurant. I've been a server myself and have dined at enough restaurants to know that sometimes it's busier than it looks....but I've always let the table know that it's busy...not pretend like they don't exist. read more

My wife and I had the Parmesan Garlic fries , Chicken Wild Rice soup (delicious), and Nashville Chicken Sandwich (Excellent). Would order all three items again and the Nashville Chicken Sandwich is one of the best I have had in the area. Also, have good beer selection. read more

I really need to stop and remember to take a picture but it looked so tasty when it was delivered. Had lunch here, was nice to get out to a restaurant at lunch time. They were not busy when we were there but the service was fantastic. It was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the patio. I had the Just too Gouda to be True Burger. It was amazing, the bun soft and perfect. The burger was just the right amount of greasy, the apple-onion jam...yum and I need to figure out how to make it and put it on everything. The parm tots were good but the parm taste wasn't strong. It was a generous portion size and I was full into the evening. I will be back to try more and hopefully take a picture then. read more

I was debating how many stars to give, because: 4 stars: experience & drinks. Great, low-key, dive spot to grab happy hour or a late night drink and watch the game. 2.5 stars: food. It wasn't bad, just waaaay too expensive for what it was. This is not the place to charge $15 for mac & cheese or a burger, and yet they do. This is a great place to have wonderful bar food. I had the BLT that was like no other BLT I have ever head. It had so much meat and a wonderful mayo. I highly recommend the Parmesan tots!! Our service has always been so bad here! I love the food and the atmosphere is so great but what the heck is it with the service at this place? Two weeks ago the kitchen "lost" our order from the server. We didn't get fed until literally 1.5 hours AFTER we sat down. Last night we had a Jack rabbit that talked faster than anyone could understand. The guy had ZERO customer service skill and lacked how to read a table. The sad thing is it was at the end of the night, about 8:00 and our server was zipping around like he had 50 tables to content with when the fact was he had two that were ending their night! It's been awful and we will not go back. This my friends, breaks my heart because that cauliflower chicken bowl is the best thing on earth. Oh, so is the Nashville fries chicken sandwich, etc! I had been Cabin 61 before a few times for drinks and food. The food is pretty good. However, I attempted to go to there to hang out on the patio a few weeks ago, after bars and restaurants opened again in MN under social distancing restrictions. This place was packed inside and out and no one seemed to care about social distancing. I turned around and left. I'll probably never return here since ownership didn't seem to show any concern for public safety...just making up for their lost revenue. I'm still giving them 2 stars for prior experiences. read more

This place had a good review, and wasn't far away, so I figured it was worth a shot. It was as good as the reviews said. I got the Hotpot, and boneless wings. The Tatertot Hotpot was very good. I could've done well with just it, but I'm a gluttonous pig, and was afraid the kitchen would be closed by the time I was done with it, in case I was still hungry. The wings were very good. The meat was still juicy, and not dried out like many places end up as. The chunks were a decent size. I went with the mango-habenero. This was the higher end of the heat I can handle (I'm a complete weenie), but was bearable, especially with the ranch to offset it. The bar closes at 11, but the kitchen closes at 10pm. read more

Finally tried Cabin 61 and glad I did!! This place is nothing like the old "Little Bar" that used to be there. This is now run by the same folks as Acqua and Meet Market, so the food is really good, elevated bar food. The "Lumberjack BLT" was outta this world good. Pork Belly, Bacon, Cajun Aioli. This is a very big, very flavorful sandwich. Paid extra to get the Parmesan Tots. Soooooo good! Then, dessert. OMG. The Mini Doughnuts with Chocolate dipping sauce are downright addictive. These are the only things I've had there so I can't speak to anything else, but I'm definitely going back to sample more of their menu. read more
