My visit to The Green Room Cafe was nothing short of a caffeinated revelation…read more From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere that felt like a secret garden had collided with an artist's dream -- warm, inviting, and humming with just the right kind of energy. The service was absolutely impeccable: attentive without hovering, warm without pretense, and delivered with the sort of genuine hospitality that makes you feel less like a customer and more like an honored guest at an impossibly chic gathering. And then came the drinks. The pistachio latte was a masterpiece of balance and indulgence -- velvety, nutty, and luxuriously smooth, as though a pistachio grove had somehow been distilled into liquid silk. Each sip unfolded like a sonnet. The wildflower latte, meanwhile, was pure poetry in a cup. Delicately floral without being overpowering, it carried an almost ethereal sweetness, like spring itself had been persuaded to dissolve into espresso. It was whimsical, elegant, and astonishingly memorable. The Green Room Cafe has achieved what so many coffee shops aspire to but few truly accomplish: creating not just beverages, but an experience -- one steeped in artistry, comfort, and just the right amount of enchantment. A triumph. Five stars scarcely feels sufficient. Oh, and parking was mindlessly easy, the owner was present, the bathrooms impeccable, nursing mother's room near restrooms and high ceilings to dissipate the hum.

Decided to try a newish spot in Plainfield, IN - The Green Room Cafe…read more The cafe is located by the Plainfield Government Center. There is plenty of parking and many other restaurants shops nearby. The inside is clean and modern. There are roughly 10 tables, a comfy couch and chairs, and a small bar area. I HAD to try the Beach Day Latte. The latte was made perfectly. The icing on the cake was the house made coconut cold foam! Ohmygoodness- it was delicious. The breakfast sandwich was standard. I will say they did cook my egg to my liking. The bacon was good but still had grease on the two pieces. Our order taker was friendly and extremely helpful with the explaining the menu. I will definitely go back further the lattes!

I've been a loyal customer since the days of the physical member card, and even now that everything is digital, I still enjoy coming here. While I was there, the barista Marcus (I believe that was his name) was friendly and pleasant throughout my visit. I noticed some coupons displayed in the window and asked if I could have the coupon sheet to use on my return trip. This is not uncommon because they give these to customers to use. He was about to give them to me when another barista stopped him and said that the ones he was handing me were their last sheet. I was a bit confused, since the coupons were clearly displayed in the drive-thru window, and I wondered if more could simply be printed. When I asked, I was told they hadn't received additional sheets yet, so they couldn't give out the last ones. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any effort to offer an alternative or accommodate the request, which was disappointing. I ended up leaving feeling a bit uncomfortable despite the great service from Marcus. The lady wasn't very kind with her approach but denying me coupons to SUPPORT a local business wasn't on my bingo card for my birthday. Anyway, I enjoyed my coffee, the initial service and supporting a locally owned business.

I would love to like this spot but felt the quality of the offerings were a bit misleading…read more The storefront is clean and the service was amazing and friendly, but their drinks are either soy based or powder based so when expecting a natural juice option this was a real disappointment. The concept is that their smoothies have protein and can a meal replacement. I am sure that if you don't have any issues with soy these are probably very tasty. However, they didn't have any alternatives for those who can't have soy which I found unfortunate. I decided to try an energy drink which has the base of black tea with additives. Mine was a lavender pomegranate which sounded nice and had a fun purpose color but with one sip I realized the lavender and pomegranate were a dried mix they had added to the tea. If you don't do fresh juices then it might not be very noticeable, but unfortunately as someone with lots of allergies I couldn't drink any more for fear of a reaction. Several customers said they come daily and love the drinks, and for sure it is better for you than some other options for energy. However I was disappointed by their drinks and the fact that none of it was actually fruit based. It might be worth trying but make sure you ask about ingredients if you have any questions.
