It's been a minute since we've been here, but the views are still just as stunning. Came by on Sunday evening in the summer- of course it's busy; I didn't realize the property backs up onto the dock of the lake- essentially where paddle boards get into the water. They have QR codes to scan for beer and food menus, and you walk up to order, get a buzzer and they deliver food to ya. My Caesar salad was good- exactly what I'd expect. My husbands wings were fully devoured. So I'd say it was a successful meal.

Stuck in i70 traffic? Pop in here for a quick meal. Their food is typical bar food but I would go back for the elk bratwurst any day. Unfortunately the roll they serve it on is a bit much but is evened out by the price and the crispy tots. I only had an NA beer there but thought it was pretty tasty. I think we got lucky sitting at the bar but we had great service. The bartender working behind the counter clearly loved his job and was really engaging when taking our orders. I have been here a few times and the service and food can be a hit or miss but this last time gave it another star in my book. One drawback being the noise level can get pretty loud and the self serve water station is weird when you're sitting at a table already. Overall it's a great spot with really great potential

Absolutely love having this spot as a perfect way to break up any drive to and from the mountains. The quality of beer and food is truly amazing plus the service is friendly and helpful. Personal favorites: Queso tots (loaded Colorado tots) Wings (garlic Parmesan is the best garlic Parmesan wing I have literally ever had) but all other flavors are great too Quality is top notch, they don't skimp on ingredients, and I've tried many things and have yet to be disappointed, only pleasantly surprised. See you next visit!

You either get the Dale experience or the Matt experience. Service for sure can be lacking. I've had great bar service and quite the opposite. Weekends. Weekdays. Busy. Quiet. Really depends on prep work and who is working as you could say about any business. I have always sat at the bar so maybe table service is a bit friendlier? Generally bar service is quickest so it's a real shame when you wait so long just to order food or drink. Beautiful location right off I-70 in Georgetown. Awesome lake views and the nearby mountains. Spacious inside area and patio spots. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Plenty of to-go beer options. They also fill growlers which you unfortunately don't see much of anymore. Beer obviously but also cocktails and wine or beer isn't your thing. Believe now that Guanella Pass closed this is the only brewery in town. Just wish the beer was better. They usually have a west coast IPA or two. Several lagers of various shades of lightness and malt. Something fruited, a seltzer, sometimes an Amber or something darker, and maybe a double IPA on. It's not a huge selection but it's nice to have some variety. Nice vibe in this brewery but I really wish the service was better. Goes a lot farther for me than beer quality. Drink wise I like the variety but not the best beer I've had. Good varied food menu. Pizza. Pretzels. Light bites or larger plates for if you're really hungry. Food comes out quickly. It's funny sitting at the bar you'd almost get food before you got a drink you ordered ten minutes prior. ‍

We're staying at the hotel right beside Cabin Creek so we decided to give them a try! I mostly just wanted a soup while dad wanted some wings, and the kids wanted burgers. Guess what? They had all of it. We even ordered some hot cocoa and earl grey tea while my husband wanted the house special Argentine Amber beer. All of the food was made fresh, the fries were so delicious as were the loaded tots. My red pepper Gouda soup hit the spot of this frigid, windy evening. I prefer more salt, pregnancy probs, but it wasn't bland by any means. They were out of crackers so we got the tortilla chips which were good and salty (woohoo!). Our server was Megan M, she was friendly and attentive. There is an atm machine at the entrance, but the check is paid by your phone although they probably could take your card at the register. Everything arrived timely, not a long wait at all on a busy evening. Good visit!

First and foremost, unbelievable views. The valley and lake are amazing. Our son had a BLAST poking around in the water. The service was perfect. Attentive and friendly. Knowledgeable with their products and friendly during a very busy rush. The food was AWESOME. A little niche, but the French fries were maybe the best I've had. The rest of the food was great too! Lovely, wonderful spot. WILL be back. You should stop for sure, you won't regret it!

We made a pit stop here during our day trip to the mountains to hike around and enjoy fall. The food was fantastic. We arrived right when it opened and didn't have to wait to be seated but the place fills up fast! The wait staff was wonderful and courteous and surprisingly quick given how jam packed this place is. Highly recommend! Kid, dog and even gluten free friendly!

My husband and I were fishing across the street here for a couple hours. Decided to get dinner while we were in town and it was a great choice! The pizza was delicious and my drink was great as well. Perfect ending to a fishing day.

Spectacular views, good brews and decent food! We sat outdoors with our dog and brought along non CO folks to dine here - ofcourse they were blown away by this spot. Food was good and so were their flights. Service quick and effortless. I have probably come here twice every season for the past 4 years especially after snowboarding in the mountains! Highly recommend this spot

Cabin Creek Brewing is definitely worth remembering for anyone heading through Georgetown -- especially after a day on the slopes at Loveland Ski Area. Great burgers and a solid lunch spot make it a perfect stop on a ski trip.

The location is great. On lake with a patio to just relax & chill after hiking in the mountains. The beers were just ok. The food was a miss. Everything was over fried. A definite lack of sauces for your sandwiches or fries. The servers were very polite & attentive. Not sure if it was an off day in the kitchen but nothing here would bring me back in. Best dish was the dip sandwich. Recommend that over anything else we tried.

Very cool place to stop on the way to Breck, or Denver. Their whisky flight is really good and a good price. The grilled cheese with soup is a must. And of course, the views. Nestled below the mountains, sipping a cold beer is everything you need.

Amazing food, great ambiance and helpful & patient staff, this would be the gist of my visit at Cabin Creek Brewing. The pizzas, grilled cheese and beignets are amazing. The place is easy going with lots of seating and parking space. The patio has some great views of Georgetown lake and has an awesome ambience. Overall loved it here as 1st time visitors to Georgetown.

Those were the Two-tone footer coffee stout and the Mountain Red Ale. However, we did find a few we liked. My wife had two of the Mustachio Porters, while I had one Oaked-o Bier Marzen and one Mustachio Porter. They were both delicious. I also liked the 5-hole Canadian Lager. Neither of us cared for the Powder-Stache Porter as much. Service was much friendlier than last time too, and they were busier with a friendlier crowd as well. We'll definitely be back next time through Silverthorne.

The vibe here is everything you want in a mountain-town brewery: eclectic, laid-back, and full of good energy. The staff were so kind and welcoming, which immediately turned my day around. I ordered the nachos, and they were massive, piled high with toppings and absolutely delicious. Pair that with a cold beer, and suddenly the stress of travel melted away. The food came out fast, the beer hit the spot, and if you can snag a table by the window, the views make it even better. Angry James is the kind of place that reminds you why a trip to the mountains are worth it: great food, friendly faces, and an atmosphere that feels like a fresh breath.

Of their ciders we had, my favorite was the hibiscus cider and the peach cider, but they also have a good selection beers if ciders aren't your thing. For food we got their Ruben and their Flat-iron Steak. The Ruben was awesome, the sauce was a bit on the sweeter side, but it tasted good while drinking the ciders. But the highlight for me was their flat-iron steak, its a simple cut but it was one of the best steaks I've had in recent memory. I'm not kidding when I say it was on par if not better than a a lot of the steakhouses I've been to, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and comes with a solid chimichurri sauce. TLDR: great local tavern with great food and good selection of drinks.

We stopped at Clear Creek Cidery & Eatery because we liked their outdoor seating. The weather was perfect for enjoying a nice, shaded outdoor lunch. Our group of six all ordered water for drinks. The server brought us filled glasses and then told us if we wanted any refills, we could get them ourselves from the big cooler jug outside. Um...okay. The rest of the service was pretty much the same -- apathetic. We ordered a flight of beer for the four adults at the table. It was about $30 and came with about 15 small glasses of cider, one of each flavor they served. We shared it and got to sample everything that way. I ordered the Cider Burger (medium rare) with fries as my side. It came out medium well, which instantly ruins and dries out any good burger experience. The fries were tepid as well. I don't think we even saw our server again until the end, and even then we had to wait for awhile for the check. So, overall, It was just an okay experience. If I'm in the Idaho Springs area again, I wouldn't return to Clear Creek Cidery & Eatery. I'd definitely explore other options.
