I've been here twice this week on my way to-and-from Denver. Originally, I thought that the view would have been the best part of this Brewery...but I was wrong. I've ordered the Thai pizza and the Prosciutto, each were wonderful. Both servers we had were, A) helpful with making decisions, B) had an opinion, and C) were pretty cute. I expected only flagship beers on draft but found there to be several seasonal beers available. The triple was my favorite and the Hazy IPA was worth a visit! The porter was a solid start. I'm very pleased that a new Brewery & Restaurant has opened in Georgetown as it's a wonderful place to stop on the way back to Denver. Please keep exploring with your beer as this is MY top priority. Came here on our adventure through the mountains of Colorado. This place sits on beautiful lake up against the mountains. Couldn't ask for a better setting to have beer. Beer was great. Had the hazy IPA. Super fresh. Food was also very good. Had the loaded tots. Definitely would recommend checking this place out and definitely wish we could have took some beer home . read more

We stopped here for a much needed break from Labor Day traffic. We ordered a spinach salad (takeaway 1 star) and Thai chicken pizza. The salad was good but I felt priced slightly high for the size/style of salad. The pizza was delicious and definitely had some kick to it. Our server was nice and efficient. We were pleasantly surprised by the hazy double IPA. The view was great and they did a phenomenal job with the outdoor space which earned them back a star. Went here on 8/16. Got there early afternoon and it was pretty busy. They are dog friendly. All staff was wearing mask. Saw numerous people get up from their tables without mask and walk around. Should enforce that more. The view is amazing! Being in the mountains and on the water. Menu is good selection of pizza and sandwiches and salads. Beers from dark to light. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and the server did not fill up our waters once. The fries were very salty! Then we ordered the hummus plate and it came with veggies (celery and carrots) and fries, but then we saw a table next to us get the same thing and it came with no fries but with cucumbers. We came here after the Georgetown Loop Train. We did the same last year and had good memories. We did not have the same experience this year. Service was awful. We had to get all of our own supplies- utensils, high-chair, sauces, menus... it was pretty ridiculous. Food was below par as well. We ordered the kids Mac n'cheese with fruit. We literally got boxed Mac n'cheese with a cup of fruit in sugar juice. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was mostly cooked...? It was pretty chewy. I was expecting better since it is highlighted on their menu. The fries were bomb! So good! The beer was pretty good, so if you aren't expecting restaurant service you may have a better experience. Disappointing overall and I we will not return based on our experience. Pretty disappointing. read more

After passing the brewery many times on I-70, I finally stopped in for lunch on my way up to the heart of Summit County. I thoroughly enjoyed my beer sampler and chicken sandwich, seated with a great view of the lake and mountains on a clear blue Colorado day. Ordered a custom flight and all the beers were well balanced, smooth and very tasty. Will definitely stop by again to sample another item on the menu along with a nice cold refreshing brew. read more

Visiting Colorado for a softball tournament and had some free time so we took a trip to Georgetown. After sight seeing the small town we stopped at cabin creek. Cool spot, beautiful views. The food was just Ok the beer was great but once we got our bill it was super expensive. Would I go back? Sure but it's pretty pricey for mediocre food read more

We were 4x4ing up on Argentine Pass on July 9th and spent too much time taking pictures so by the time we got back down we needed dinner. Had seen this place off I70 but had never tried it. Claudette had the large house salad with chicken and I had the Cabin Burger with fries. We both had the latest brew to be added to the menu - the Maestro and it was tasty! We sat at a picnic table outside where we could watch our unlocked Jeep and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Eric our server was great. We'll be back! read more

We've been here four times now in the past month and a half and loved it every time! We've started taking friends after a day of hiking or paddle boarding. Great beer and great food. My husband and I share the larger size of pizza (either Thai chili chicken or chicken ranch which are both great). Crust is very good, nice flavor combos, and fresh mozzarella! We haven't tried many other things on the menu because we like the pizza. The appetizer tater tots are good but you only get 6 in an order. The French onion soup was a daily special on that snowy day in September and delicious. Of course it's a brewery, so my husband usually gets a flight and then gets some beer to take home. They have a standard set, a rotating selection, and a guest brew on tap. You can take some home in various sizes. There are a few mixed drinks also with local Colorado spirits and I was a big fan of the lavender lemonade. We'll definitely continue visiting often! read more

This brewery is wonderful. They have great food, and the craft beer is even better. We ate there twice while staying in Idaho Springs and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Not the best experience. I'm a sour beer drinker and all breweries have some kind of sour beer on tap or even in cans. Nothing was available. Then to make the experience even less pleasant, our server was constantly rushing for orders from us, he wasn't the nicest or easiest going server, so we decided not to spend $40 on two burgers there. I stopped here for a bite to eat and a nice beer on the way to Vail from Denver. It was really great to see sampler pores for only 2 to $3 and then a well done pizza menu. Everything was pretty inexpensive and the pizza and hummus we ordered were well made. I will say that our Thai chili chicken pizza didn't seem to have any chicken, but it was still delicious. Our server was so friendly and checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend a stop in! read more

I came here on July 4th. Line was out the door. We snuck in and sat at the bar. The staff was literally running to keep up. Beer was wonderful and pizza hit the spot. The food was good, the drinks were amazing. The views are killer, building is unique and spacious. My husband really liked the beer. We felt like the service was lacking. From the second we walked in one of the waiters looked at us and walked away. We got seated at a high table and my husband sat in the chair on the end. One of the servers walked by and told him to move his chair cuz he was in the way. So okay we move. Anything we requested was thrown on the table. Ok, so a group of friends and I went to Colorado, from Chicago, to celebrate a friends bday. We had gone to a couple breweries, then randomly stopped into Cabin Creek. By far the best brewery experience that we had on our trip. But specifically thank you to Helena! Absolutely excellent service. I work in the service industry here in Chicago. Service was prompt. The beer very tasty and what gets the rating. The food was so-so. Brats dry and what tasted like canned Sauerkraut . We had the brats (elk and beef/pork- made in Denver). Been here twice when we come here on vacation. Both times there was an extreme wait time of 1-2 hours. Beautiful view. We had the same server two times in a row and he was extremely disrespectful and not put together. I've never seen a server look actually dirty. He had soot all over his skin he had a greasy pony tail that hair was falling out of it was just nasty. I wish I got his name. The food here is really tasty! read more
