As, other reviews, the home desperately needs maintenance! we had plumbing problems & pool issues upon arrival. the house was not cleaned, Bathtubs were filthy, we didn't use. maintenance visited 3 times in a week. We discussed our dissatisfaction with Sean, Mngr. but he tried to imply it was all our fault! I mention the other reviews and he said " Cabin is old! what do you expect!? For the money, you should shop around in our opinion.

My mom was only looking forward to the jetted tub. We could not believe that there was not one tub that was jetted. There was also a squirrel that has made its home inside the walls of the cabin. Also, unless you are staying in one of the main bedrooms, you will not have your own bathroom or place to put your belongings unless you plan on putting them in the swimming pool area or keeping them by you. The location is remote enough to get away from the stree and noise of the City but close enough for convenient day trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin has AMAZING Views and plenty of space for family members to spread out. if you are bring a group. The photos show that many renovations and upgrades have been made at this property to ensure a delightful and relaxing stay. We will be back, I recemmend this place without question.

I would definitely recommend. There is a bear that hangs around in the woods near the property. We never saw him but other people that wrote in the guest book did! Sleeping in the bedroom upstairs, we did hear some creatures crawling about our roof. Never knew what they were!! Basement was a little buggy -- "centipede-y" -- I would say. But it IS the outdoors and it IS a basement. No big complaints. Just minor little things.

It's very close to the Sevierville entertainment area, yet felt secluded and quiet with a beautiful wooded setting. The kitchen was well equipped, (but don't forget to supply your own spices, etc) with ample pots, pans and cooking implements. The included cast iron pan was a nice touch for frying country ham for breakfast! Both bedrooms were comfortable and included attached full bathrooms. Air conditioning seemed new and functioned really well, keeping the entire cabin cool on 98 plus degree days. The front porch may well have been my favorite spot when we weren't exploring Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Anakeesta, and Gatlinburg. It's in the tree tops and feels very much like a tree house. The supplied rocking chairs and porch swing were very nice. It was a good spot to relax with a cocktail. The cabin is family friendly with a game room that included a foosball table that our boys couldn't get enough of. There's a hot tub and a gas grill on the back deck but we didn't get around to using it. All in all, you really can't ask for better accommodations in the area. It's about 35 minutes to the national park, and minutes to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The owner is serious about hospitality and super responsive. There was one minor issue with a toilet running for an extended period of time. He had it fixed within hours while we were out enjoying area attractions. There was also a complimentary bottle of wine on the counter when we arrived. Highly recommend! Far superior to any hotel.

Left my shorts and my son swimming shorts in the dryer with their towel, cleaning crew claimed did not find the items. I know they found the towels or they will charge me for missing towels! But somehow my shorts and my son's swimming trunk could not be found! I need their cleaning crew to be more honest.

When I turned it on there was grease leaking out of the bottom of it. The pool and hot tub were closed when that's the main reason I booked it. The hot water in the main shower didnt work. They failed to inform us that there would be work being done to the roof the day after we got there. everyone got woken up at 7:00 am to them working on the roof. i had left the same night and asked for some form of refund for the nights I wasnt there. The best they offered me was someone to clean the oven. Never addressed any other complication and when told they'd get back to me about a refund I never heard anything back. I reached out 4 different times to get something back since I didn't stay do to all the issues. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Cabins are so close together its like living in a subdivision. It was far from quiet. Multiple times a day motorcycles with loud exhaust, cars with loud mufflers and loud stereos flew through the neighborhood. The master bedroom was tiny and had a lock on the only closet in the room. Water was warm, not hot at all. At least, not hot enough for me. Only had 1 dresser to put clothes in. The king size bed was nice but too large for the small master bedroom. The air conditioning only cooled to 68*. Im a brain cancer survivor and I need to be cooler because my body doesn't regulate body temperature very well. Especially when its 90* outside. And, of all, what really got me was the welcome note from the housekeeper asking for gratuity. Albeit, subtly, but still asking me to leave them money. I wont be coming back. Update: I found the house number. Its in black numbers on side of house directly behind a post on the porch that cant be seen at night. I also discovered the ice maker in the fridge was turned off. It was only about 10-15 ice cubes in it when I arrived. So, after the second day, I had no ice and the fridge had a layer of dust on too of it. And, the floors were filthy. After walking barefoot from front door to the couch , my feet were black. Also, hot tub water level was so low that the jets were spraying water out of it. So, couldn't use the hot tub with jets on.
