My name is Taree Daigle, I did a full restoration of a home over 4500 square feet and the only problem I had was dealing with cabinets to go. The contractors that worked on the floors, lights, plumbing, walls, A/C, water heater, and exterior were amazing, professional and efficient. Nancy the manager for Cabinets To Go located in Austin Texas was amazing, professional, detailed and efficient; however the management that she has to communicate with (Sean Cloke), never made me (the customer), a priority. The cabinets were delivered a week and a half later than what I was told. I was told the gas line was an issue and I measured wrong from other wall, and the owner did not like the little cabinets because it did not look like the old kitchen below; image10.JPG image11.JPG I spoke to Nancy about the issues and she said I have to pay additional for the missing cabinets $350 and the owner wanted both sides of the stove to have same size cabinets so they match, so I had to order two more cabinets and move the smaller top and bottom to the other wall. Brandon is my cabinet installer that Nancy recommended and is the most amazing guy. His crew is trustworthy, efficient, and fair. I also found out he do floors, tile, painting, and lots of other house repairs, construction, etc. So work with Nancy and definitely call Brandon. I ordered the cabinets around August 3, 2017 and people are living there, it's costing me money, owners are not happy and Sean didn't have the decency to call me once even though he was informed by Nancy that I wanted a phone call. Still to date he has not reached out to tell me exactly what's going on with the 4 cabinets I'm waiting on and Nancy doesn't get good feedback to relay to me either. He is always in a meeting, internet down most of the time so she has to call to communicate but no speedy response. Nancy has apologized until she is blue in the face and I know she is frustrated with this as well, I would say fire Sean and hire an upper manager that is just like Nancy so things get done and customers are taken care of properly. Renters still have no kitchen, so family is trying to eat out with 2 children daily. School is about to start and that will be an even bigger challenge. I personally think I should have been given 2 if the 4 cabinets free and a personal apology from Sean or any upper management. Nancy is doing the best she can in the little trailer they provided that is about to fall over, terrible internet connection, etc. I will use this company in the future because once they build a building and Nancy has local inventory, she will be the one to go to for cabinets. If it was not for Nancy I would never use them in the future building or not good quality materials or not, because of the poor customer service upper management has displayed. I regret ever recommending Cabinets to Go to anyone else before I have had a chance to complete my project with them. I selected to have them field measure and furnish cabinets only. The numbers I was getting for installation from other contractors was half of what they were trying to charge me. After receiving my cabinets, my installers assembled everything that arrived and found our large full height cabinets that been damaged in shipping due to improper packaging. We also received 2 upper cabinets that were 42" tall in lieu of the 30" and 18" that the shop drawings showed. Lastly, we missing three of our lower cabinets for our bathroom vanities. This would have not been as big of an issue if cabinets to go would have taken 3+ working days to get back to me about the issues. The sales rep told me after multiple days of requesting updates that their software forgot to pull the missing cabinets from the shop drawings to the quote, so I had not paid for them. They also stated that although the shop drawings show the measurement that I need, the quote has a different dimensions which is what I paid for. I was then told I would need to pay for all of the new resized cabinets and the missing cabinet. They offered me a 35% discount, which is 5% more than the original discount that was placed on the full order. They also informed me it would be over 2 weeks to get the cabinets delivered to me. In the end they blamed the issue on a software glitch that caused the order to not fully transfer to my quote... How is this the customers issue? I am giving them 1 star because the quality of the cabinets that showed up, undamaged and do fit are of reasonable quality for the cost. You would expect that if an error like this would occur anywhere else, they would fabricate the new cabinets as soon as possible, ship them overnight to your address and cover the cost due to their failure to perform their job. read more

There were so many issues with this company. Unfortunately, once the purchase process is underway, it is impossible to stop it without losing a great deal of money. The following seven items were communicated to Cabinets to Go. Some problems were taken care of, but most were not. When I contacted their customer service department, the response I got blamed me for most of the issues and ignored the rest. 1. Ferdinand (in-store sales consultant) added several items to my order that we did not want or need. He added decorative ends to the upper and lower cabinets. My wife and I did not want them. He included two uppers and two lowers with the order. I did not notice this until they were already installed. It wouldn't have made sense to have them removed because there would be screw holes in the sides of the cabinets. We could have complained about it and asked for new cabinets, but we had already been without a kitchen, a sink, and a dishwasher for several weeks at this point while waiting for the cabinets to arrive. Instead, we had to order one more upper and one more lower end cover to make them all match. It doesn't make sense that he didn't order the right number from the beginning. The worst part of it is that the base cabinet end covers are terrible. The bottom cover sticks out at the bottom where the toe plate is. They look awful. 2. He also ordered a refrigerator panel. If you look at the drawings, there was absolutely no need for a refrigerator panel. 3. He added a spice rack insert to our order even though we made it crystal clear that we wanted the narrow cabinet to hold cookie sheets and cutting boards. Again, we didn't see the spice rack until it was installed. Installation of the spice rack incudes a sliding door instead of a hinged door. The installer removed the spice rack and changed the door to a hinged opening, but we have screw holes in the floow of the cabinet. This was Ferdinand's error. 4. I had to spend several hours of my day returning the spice rack and the refrigerator panel. I shouldn't have needed to make the drive. To make it worse, Ferdinand required me to sit there for an hour while he was on the computer trying to take care of it. I should have been able to drop them off and leave. 5. You mentioned that I signed the purchase order. That is true, but there are two very important points here. First, we should be able to trust that the written order reflects our salesman's attention to detail and the pictures that were provided. There were no visible end panels in the pictures he sent. They are dark blue and cannot be seen in the pictures. The sales order that was signed is written in cabinet guy lingo, not customer lingo. I shouldn't be expected to know the difference between UFH24-30-EP and REF72-30-GRE. 6. The installer stated he would arrive on Monday. I left a vacation early to be home for him to begin. He didn't arrive until Wednesday. I told him not to start if he could not guarantee finishing by Friday evening. He promised, but was unable to do so. I missed another day of a weekend trip. 7. We ordered and paid for countertops through Cabinets to Go. The counter top company sent their guy out to measure on August 7th. Ferdinand and the counter top guy said it was a two to three week turn around to get them fabricated and installed. I called the counter top company on August 29th and asked for the status. They told me that they sent the updated order for my countertops to Cabinets to Go on August 8th and they had not heard back. I called Cabinets to Go and spoke with Robert. He told me that they missed the email. That was three extra weeks at my house with no kitchen, no sink, and no dishwasher. I understand that mistakes happen, but it seems to me that Ferdinand or Robert should have done something to check on the status of my job. My wife and I considered requesting a refund for countertops and purchasing elsewhere, but in the end decided it was faster to stick with our order because the measure was already done and the refund process would make it even longer. I spoke with Robert and he told me that I owed approximately $390 due to slight changes in the countertop order. I asked him if Cabinets to go would cover it to make it right. He told me that he didn't have the authority to authorize it. I just paid it so that we could get our kitchen back. The way I see it, we paid $1000 we shouldn't have paid because Ferdinand ordered the end covers that we definitely did not want or need. We waited at least three extra weeks due to an error that should have been minimized by an attentive sales person. I missed two days of family time due to poor scheduling. Very irresponsible. Don't know about communication. They always wanted to show up very late to do the work. They day of the countertop setting they got there at 5 and left close to 9pm. Those are crazy hours to be working at a customers house. The demo crew damaged all the water fittings and sink plumbing. They damaged the walls where backsplash tile was at. They didn't do a proper demo , they tore out the cabinets. They said the work would take 2 weeks but it took 5 weeks. I was without water for 10 days. The day of the countertops they left 2 gaps on both sides. I love the materials, the colors but I feel theyre not organized with their subcontractors. I only saw the owners when we signed contract and when they showed up on time to pick up the last payment. read more

This has been the absolute worst experience we have ever had with any sort of home renovation purchase. They have lied and deceived us for weeks regarding our order and come up with a new BS excuse every week as to why the delivery hasn't come in. This company is either a huge scam or they are incompetent morons on the logistical side of the ball. Eventually we got ahold of some "Austin manager" named Jennifer who has just been feeding us excuse after excuse as to why they can't deliver our cabinets and she has done nothing but give us false promises and failed to deliver time after time. They are literally costing us thousands because we have had to push back our contractors time after time, also we can't make food because our contractor gutted our kitchen down to the studs. If anyone is in the market for cabinets and/or flooring, do not - I repeat DO NOT - use Cabinets ToGo for ANY of their services. It has been one screw up after another with this company. We were assured on more than one occasion during our initial sale that our order was complete and finalized - even went line item by line item with the sales rep - and yet, somehow major pieces of our order were missing. Even after getting repeated verbal confirmation that everything was settled after there was an issue, when it definitely never was. Their "professional" measuring service undersized our floor so it took another two weeks until I had the additional flooring delivered - and of course that was additional money on our end that we had to come up with that was not included in our initial budget. No discounts, just added more cost with no apology. They also somehow failed to order countertops for all the cabinets we had ordered, which meant even more money that we had to put out and over 7 weeks of delays because they couldn't coordinate with their third party contractor effectively. They even forgot to order our kitchen sink - literally!! And today, as the countertop company they partner with had to come out to finish the install, we now just find out that the backsplash for the kitchen was "never ordered". I call bullshit. I am beyond furious that it has been MONTHS now and I still don't have a functioning kitchen for what was sold to us as a "turn key solution". Never in my life have I been witness to such incapable human beings led by an even more incompetent manager. Every step of the way, this location has blamed all of its mistakes on us as the customer (because we signed the quote, the one they did based on THEIR measurements and THEIR designs - never once taking full ownership of the complete clusterfuck they have caused. Unless you have extremely low standards cabinets and polite, respectful people stay as far away from this dump as you can!!! I went to cabinets to go because my contractor suggested them. I think they pay contractors to refer customers. There is no way he would have referred them had he known the trouble ahead!! The day I visited to buy cabinets was not a good experience. The first cabinets I picked out my Donna my sales person told me I didn't want those cabinets because they were cheap and wouldn't hold up. Ok, lets look further. I picked out 2 more, she told me they were not available. I asked her what she would recommend she showed me some cabinets and told me the only problem with these cabinets were they did not have them in white!! I explained my bathroom is black and white. So she suggested Taupe and assured me they would be beautiful and I would love them. Took a long time to make it to Austin, because of the Thanksgiving holiday. I just could pick the cabinets up because I knew they would look awful in a black and white bathroom. Donna called and told me my cabinets had been there for quite sometime. I told her I didn't want them because they were taupe and thought they would look terrible in a black and white bathroom. So she spoke to the "manager" and he said he would exchange them for white for $400!! I thought was a bit high since I had only paid $1,300 for 3 cabinets. He agreed to split it with me. This time it took a really long time to arrive in Austin. When we got the cabinets home, and were opening the box I noticed a restocking date on the box. I showed my contractor and he didn't seem to think much about it. I was concerned but at this point I was trying to be positive since I was tired of not having a bathroom. After he put them together I noticed some dings that someone had tried to repaint. I decided this was ridicules!! To pay so much for "new" cabinets and get cabinets that had obviously been bought and returned. I also bought 2 pull out drawers, of which cabinet. When they arrived their were pieces missing. Like only 1 rail for each drawer. When I returned the draws the guy said they were incomplete. I told him I know that's how we received them. They agreed to take them back for a $49 restocking fee. Who does this? Cabinets to go!! Crazy. But I figured anything was better than nothing. After they were installed and I found all the dings where someone had tried to repaint them I decided to contact their corporate office in Cumberland City, TN. Just for fun I was wondering if my experience was normal or if I just got the short end of the stick. I looked at the BBB in TN and they were over run with complaints. To make matters worse it took several weeks for Sonia who is the supervisor in TN has a horrible attitude yelled at me and wouldn't let me talk. She is very mean spirited and and clearly overworked because she can't take care of her business. Believe it or not, I kept this review short!! I had an odd experience. Wanted an additional cabinet to match the ones I bought several years ago. Becky (signature line said she was store manager) let me know which sizes were available. I replied a few minutes later saying which one would work. After that, nothing. I followed up a couple days later, and then the following week, nothing. I like the cabinets I have (although I bought them when the store was located in south Austin, so probably entirely different group) but you have to wonder about a store manager who stops responding around the time you are trying to give them your money. That said, reading the recent negative ratings, maybe she did me a favor. You are better off ordering cabinets from Lowes or Home Depot. read more

I began my kitchen remodel with Cabinets To Go in February of 2021. The sales team at the Austin office seemed helpful throughout the selection process and I felt CTG had quality cabinets, a number of options, and a competitive price point. However, once the purchase was made, things started to go south. It has taken a total of 5 long months since demo/installation began for me to have a completed kitchen. Problems started with the delivery of the cabinets when 2 of the flat-pack packages were dropped off the truck. One cabinet was salvageable, while the other had a cracked face frame. CTG was willing to replace the cracked face frame, but when it arrived, it was the wrong color. I have yet to receive a replacement in the correct color and doubt that I will as my attempts at communication have gone unanswered. Demo of my old cabinets and installation of my new cabinets took about a week. For the most part, the work was done well, but took longer than expected. I had to call the installers back for a missing toe kick, which was replaced with a mangled piece that has yet to be fixed and which I have since given up on trying to get resolved. I chose to go through the same installer for installation of my marble herringbone backsplash and have never regretted a decision more. I am not confident that the guy who was sent out to do this work has ever installed tile before, much less a complicated tile like marble herringbone. 2 hours into the job, I had to have him take down much of what he'd done because he failed to maintain the correct herringbone pattern. Attempt number 2 kept the pattern correct, but the grout lines were extremely inconsistent, tiles were cut at incorrect angles. At this time, I had him stop all work and did not allow the job to be completed. Not only was the backsplash completely botched and money lost, I had to clean for HOURS. Mortar was literally everywhere...on the floor, on the countertops, on the underside of the cabinets and microwave, on my new appliances and coating my new kitchen sink. Sharpie marks were also on the countertops and underside of the cabinets. The tile saw was setup in the garage and made a ridiculous mess on the floor, nearby shelving (and their contents), exercise equipment, etc. Nothing was cleaned. I have never been more frustrated or upset with a service performed in my home. The installer did send out a member of his crew to rip out the bad tile and re-drywall, free of charge. I was told I would be compensated for the wasted tile, but never received that money, so had to re-buy all the tile before hiring someone new. The countertop installation was a disaster from start to finish. They were able to come to do measurements the day after the base cabinets were installed, and told me I'd have a countertop in 7 to 10 days. Instead, it took over 3 weeks. During these 3 weeks I never once received a phone call from the countertop company. I had to repeatedly call to receive any kind of update. As the countertops were being installed, I noticed a number of very visible scratches on the island as well as some dull spots in the surface finish. Additionally, all of the edges of the new countertops (aside from the sink cut out) were sharp and did not have the appropriate eased edge. They agreed to come back out the following week. The team was able to fix the edges, but could not repair the scratches. They came out 2 additional times to attempt to fix the problem and finally agreed that the island countertop should be replaced. It took 3 full months from this determination before they brought out a new countertop. To make matters worse, the replacement they brought also contained multiple very visible scratches. It took 2 additional attempts before I finally received a satisfactory countertop. Throughout this entire process, communication was horrendous. I ALWAYS had to call for an update. Each time I was told they would have to look into it and call me back and each time I never received that return call. I love my new kitchen, but getting to this point was a very long and stressful experience. The lack of communication was a huge problem as was the inability to follow through with promises. If you're thinking about starting a project with CTG, I'd look elsewhere. read more

Update: still waiting on installation and cabinets despite the customer care person commenting below that he would "light a fire" over a week ago. If you read the 5 star reviews, they were only for the design part of the process, not the installation and actual cabinets. Don't fall for it! This is insane - we have already paid for the entire price of the cabinets and have so far had the installation scheduled and rescheduled eight times. Over the past two months we have canceled so many other vendors (electric, backsplash tiles, counter tops, etc, who expect cancellation fees) and personal plans under the expectation (because the company told us) that we would be having cabinets installed on a certain day only to find out an hour later each time that they aren't going to show up again. Now they sent a new installer and he says the cabinets they sent are the wrong size. James, their employee, is the one who came to our house to make the measurements to begin with. It has been three months since we placed the order and our kitchen still isn't done. Not worth the minimal cost savings. read more

I had an awesome experience with this business. The store manager has gone above and beyond to help me design my dream kitchen! She came up with a great design and we have been able to install them ourselves. I've had to call her a few times with questions and every time she goes above and beyond to help me with any and every possible thing. Rebecca is a wonderful asset to our area! OK...as promised​ here is my update. Its gone from a 5-star to a 2-star for now. The only reason for the second star​ is because​ the installer has really tried to be helpful, and I think the quality of​ the cabinets for the price is good. Otherwise,​ it's​ a 1-star experience. I am actually pretty experienced in home renovations...so I know that these processes are never perfect and rarely happen as promised. But this process has been just been a major blunder in my opinion​. Here is the status. My project is still ongoing and its been 12 weeks from my initial order. My order took 9 weeks to be delivered (as opposed to the 2-3 weeks promised), then it was both partially wrong and also incomplete. The manager at the local store started out supportive, gave me her cell, and said she was always available to help. Cut to 9 weeks later, and now has lost interest in communicating with me, and has completely​ stopped any verbal communication. They will only text me back after I text many times. The only person at this point that seems truly interested in making sure my kitchen gets done is the installer, and he doesn't even officially work for cabinets-to-go (they outsource​installation​...which is common). I have sent an email to the general customer care center asking for support from the corporate level, so we'll see what I get. Currently,​ my kitchen​ is about 90% installed, but we are now waiting​ for additional​ moldings to be delivered, that were​ supposed to be ordered originally and were not. This is the second follow up order that had to be done. its been two weeks since it was placed, and I have not heard anything (it was supposed to take a week). I am also waiting for all the final nail holes and mitered corners to be filled and sealed. The installer is waiting to do this until we get the remaining materials we need, so he can patch it all up at the same time. Here is a list of what was wrong with my order. Mind you I sent detailed emails where I specifically pointed out these issues, with mark-up on the plans​ they​ sent m​e, and was told I was all set. Unfortunately,​​ so much time had passed by the time I received the cabinets, the idea of waiting for replacements, and putting off the countertop install, was just not worth it, so I just accepted it as is. 1) I ordered a 15" wine cabinet, and I received a 15" door cabinet 2) I thought I was getting 30" fridge panels, but received 24". At that point,​​ I was told they only actually sell 24" fridge panels. 30" panels would​ require more customization by the installer, which I would have been fine with actually. My first​ reorder was to resolve this, and get what I needed for the extra customization. 3) I ordered two corner cabinets..one was supposed​ to open to the right and one to the left. They both opened from the left. 4) No corner molding was ordered​ at all. I didn't​ know what that was, but its used to cover corners where unfinished edge materials meet. This should be the responsibility​ of the designer to identify​ and make sure is part of your order. 5) Not enough​ scribe​ molding was ordered to properly​ do my install. Again, another install accessory I wasn't​ aware of, and a ​miscalculation​ on the designers part. 6) A few of touch up supplies that were ordered did not arrive. I was supposed to get them fedexed the next week, and that was 4 weeks ago. So you are aware, these are the explanations​ I have received for the issues.... 1) the long delay in getting the cabinets was due to the fact that around the time of my order they updated their​ logistics software nationwide. I guees it was a total fail​, because it tripled the time I was promised for delivery. 2) The reason I was told my order was both incorrect​ and insufficient​ was that the designer I worked​ with was new, and essentially​ didn​t have enough experience to know how much of, and all of, the finsihing items that I really needed for the my install. Now, the only compensation that I was offered was either​ a "discount"or a "complete cancelation of my order at week 8, with no restocking fees" (wow "no restocking fees", and I get to start over with someone else...awesome!). Obviously​ starting over after 8 weeks was not a great option, so I asked for the discount. At week 8, I asked for 20%. at week 10, I asked for 30% (on the cost of the cabinets). I finally have been told I will get about an​ 8% ($400) discount after my job is "fully complete". They said they didn't want to make any changes​ to my open order so we didnt create any more unexpected issues...which actually sounded logicial. I'm​ trying to be as rational as I can about​ this​ because​​ let's​ face it, I have no choice....but it sucks. DO NOT USE CABINETS TO GO!!! IF YOU ARE IN THE AUSTIN AREA DO NOT ORDER THROUGH TREVOR!!! THIS IS WORTH READING! The Austin, TX rep, Trevor, has been horrible to deal with. He has: - Lied. - Ordered wrong things. - Didn't order what we were TOLD we were getting. - Our cabinets came damaged. - Cabinets were installed wrong. - They did not take all the boxes and materials, it was up to US to clean up their mess. That has never happened before with any other companies we have dealt with. - To get any money back WE have to take them to the store. No! This was Trevor's mistake, NO OURS. Trevor also said he "thinks" it would be "pointless" to return anything, we'll get nothing back. - A 3 day install has now turned into 4 months! We are demanding a return of all cabinets, but we are encountering refusal. REFUSAL of discount. REFUSAL of refunds. REFUSAL to make things correct or even better. This has been going on for 4 months and we are more than done with this. We do not have a functioning kitchen! RTG Corporate: All they are doing is giving the exact same answers that Trevor gave. - Yes we signed a contract! The contract is in technical terms that we do not know because we don't do this for a living, or work there. Trevor was super slick about how he ripped us off. - We were in the store with Trevor and thought we were signing for what HE SAID that we had ordered. - WE have to pay a restocking fee of 25%! - You can't put it on us that TREVOR ordered wrong when this is not what we do for a living. - All they keep saying is "did you read the contract and sign it?"... YES! - Yes we read the contract. - Yes we signed it! - We signed it while in front of Trevor "thinking" it was all the things that He had SAID he was ordering. - The contract is in technical terms of Cabinets To Go that we don't understand. - We do not build cabinets for a living. - We do NOT work for Cabinets To Go. - We do EXPECT the person who we're speaking to to order the correct and discussed items. - Trevor kept sending individual INVOICES BY EMAIL, IN PIECES, to the point of not knowing what all was going on, what we're paying for, or what's even coming to us. - We have been in constant contact and got nothing but a run around! Not impressed with Cabinets To Go. I stopped in the "store" which is actually just a trailer on the side of a busy highway. Nancy in the store seemed nice, professional, and reliable when we spoke about new kitchen cabinets. When I got home, I sent Nancy the plans, elevations, and pictures. She assured me she would have no problem quoting cabinets if I provided dimensions. Bobby got back to me right away. He had a few more question, I answered the questions right away. I've sent 2 follow up emails with no response. If you take a week to respond to an email, can I really trust you with a huge purchase? I am moving on. read more

You want things to go right. Nothing here went right. The old manager was arrogant and knew everything, which of course he did not. Another manager helped out in my ordering, however the order was wrong. I needed 3 base cabinets with drawers. They sent 2 without and were missing a base. So I had to buy a different base (of course not on sale though it wasn't my fault in any way) I requested the sale price and only got a portion off, not the Sale Price I had ordered. Again it wasn't my mistake. Tried to resolve with the manger and district manager but got no response. I did not sign the final pick up order as the price was wrong, but they charged me. So who was wrong, the warehouse or the order that was put in by the manager ? Sadly don't recommend at all. The cabinets are still in boxes so the quality remains to be seen literally! read more

Just finalized my order with the Austin Cabinets To Go, worked mostly with Bobby and then Jennifer on his day off. They were both extremely helpful and very professional, Bobby even communicated with me on his day off to make sure I was all set. I can be a difficult customer on the best days. Working on a stressful remodel of my kitchen, and had to make a lot of last minute changes. I probably changed my order 3 times and called it final each time. I felt bad for creating all the extra work for them. Everyone I encountered here was extremely polite and very friendly. I am very happy with the quality of the cabinets and they have a lot of cool custom options. I will definitely be coming back for my bathroom remodels in the near future. The software they use to create your order and show you a 3D rendering of you new Kitchen setup is extremely cool as well. Lets you get a really good idea of what the cabinets will look like in your home. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. It took more than three months to receive my order, and it's still not completely installed. I've had nothing but problems. The entire thing was mishandled and very poorly communicated. They schedule deliveries, then don't show up and never call. They quoted me one price, which I paid, and then came back and said I owe them more both for the product and for installation. The independent contractor doing the installation let me know that I am one of many experiencing these kinds of problems. It's not just poor customer service, at times they out right lied. If I hadn't already paid them $12,000, I would've run for the hills long ago. Stay as far away from this disreputable company as you can. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. One more thing - when we first walked into the store, they offered a discount for those willing to post good reviews on yelp. I should've known then that they could not be trusted. read more

Buyer beware. When Cabinets To Go in Austin, TX makes mistakes on measuring and ordering you have to pay a restocking fee. Their errors cost me over $300 in restocking fees and then I had to custom order cabinet doors from another vendor. Sloppy work with NO accountability. read more

I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the Austin, Texas, Cabinets to Go store. This company has the worst customer service I have ever had. Absolutely astounding in their ineptitude and incompetence. We ordered cabinets for a house we are renovating in Austin, the first of five, and decided to try Cabinets to Go. The cabinets were ordered on July 31 and not delivered until October 12, and then they didn't even deliver the correct cabinets. Not only was the top corner cabinet missing, but they sent two left panels for the sink, which means that it could not be installed and our countertop installer hasn't been able to come in and take measurements. Although our designer, James, has tried to be helpful, there is not a single good thing I can say about the store manager, Jennifer. She told us three separate times, each a week apart, that the cabinets would be delivered and never contacted us to say that they would not be. This resulted in our crews sitting around for three full work days waiting for cabinets that, it turned out, she hadn't even submitted the paperwork for until October 10! This fiasco has cost us thousands of dollars. Now they're telling us that the right sink panel and the corner cabinet won't be delivered until November 5. The side panel is not a custom item and even though we begged them to let us pick it up or ship it UPS, they refused, despite knowing how much time and money their delays have cost us. When we filed a complaint with the district manager, they said they would give us a $500 credit on our next order. They are obviously clueless as we would never ever consider ordering anything from them again. read more

Came in with very little idea how to figure out cabinet buying and configuration. James walked us through the process, explained everything, was friendly and made this a very pleasant experience. Just purchased cabinets from Cabinets To Go for a kitchen remodel. Our house flooded and had to be put back together in as quick as possible because our first baby will be here in just a couple months. My husband and I worked with Jennifer who was amazing! She was extremely nice, helpful, and patient with us as we changed our minds a couple times. We initially went to a big box store for help (rhymes with dome shmepot) and were treated so poorly that I've vowed to never go back! The guy helping us there was rude and lazy. He made it very apparent that he did not want to help design our kitchen with the measurements we had (given to us by insurance company). Jennifer at CTG seemed more than willing to design the space in their super cool 3D design program and it took her only 10-15 minutes to do so. On top of that he quoted us more than double for similar quality cabinets and said it would take at least 2-3 months to start the install. While I just placed my order with CTG, they have assured me that the cabinets can be delivered and installed in just a few short weeks! I will update the review if any of that changes, though it doesn't sound like it should. I would highly recommend Cabinets To Go in Austin. Jennifer was amazing and while I didn't work with Bobby, my husband talked to him briefly and said he sounded great too. Hopefully we won't have to do much more remodeling in the future, but if we do, Cabinets To Go will be our first choice in cabinetry! Thank you Jennifer & CTG for all of your help. read more

We looked at so many places and received many quotes, and Cabinets to Go was very reasonable considering the quality you receive. One of the worst customer experiences I've ever had, zero productive communication. Cabinets were ordered August 16th through the store in Austin, they were finally delivered on October 6th without notice. The order was short two base cabinets. Over two weeks, several calls and e-mails later, and no one can give me a definitive answer on when we might receive the missing cabinets. Beware that your taking your chances ordering from cabinets to go. The trade off for good prices is an open ended project. I'm assuming we will get the missing cabinets at some point and will update my review. read more
