BUYER BEWARE!! I have been robbed by CTG! they take your money and then don't deliver your cabinets. They accept your returns but don't send refunds. They refuse to give you an accounting of your order. we like so many others purchased cabinets (paid in full up front) that were never delivered. We waited months. Our white cabinets came in on time but we made a few exchanges - every time you pay upfront even if you're returning same item or are owed a refund. We had to call repeatedly, 6,7,8 times asking for our refunds. Only when we left a review on Yelp did we get a response. Got all of our cabinets but 1 and in white instead of gray but we are already months behind on our project. However CTG still refuses to give us an accounting of our order to show the refunds due to us and then had the nerve to ask us to pay upfront AGAIN for the cabinet they forgot!!! Nightmare. I have filed a complaint with BBB I recommend anyone getting the same treatment to do the same. Th let do not respect or appreciate their customers. read more

I found this company online while searching for a vanity for my bathroom remodel. The website was easy to navigate and they had a large variety of vanities. After finding a style I liked I drove down to Kent to take a look at the floor model. Upon seeing the vanity in person, I asked Ted, one of the employees, to order one up for me. I was told it would arrive at the store in two weeks. Three weeks later (the day after Thanksgiving) I called to see if it had arrived and was told "it had arrived yesterday" On Thanksgiving? Hmm...seemed unlikely. I told Jason (another one of the employees) that I would be down on Sunday to pick it up. He said no problem. Come Sunday, I borrowed a friends car and before leaving on the 45 minute drive to the store I again called to let them know I was on my way and to make sure the vanity was ready for me to pick up. Jason again assured me it was there and ready for pick up. When I was about 5 minutes from the store I received a call from Jason who said "You're probably already on your way here, huh?". He then informed me that they had found some forklift damage on the vanity. When I got the the store there was a LARGE hole in the side of the vanity as well as the box it came in...a very obvious hole. It appeared as though they never bothered to look at the vanity (or even the box itself) until I was already on my way down to pick it up. Ted did give me several options including ordering a new vanity, taking the damaged one at a discount, or taking the damaged one home and then calling the manufacturer to report the damage and request a replacement (seemed like an odd choice). I agreed to take the damaged one at a discount and was told all refunds are done through their accounting department (somewhere on the East Coast) and would take about a week. Two weeks later I had neither received my refund nor a call from anyone at the store. I called to inquire and after several back and forth calls was told first by Ted that he "didn't know what had happened" and that that he had submitted the refund request to accounting again. I then received a call from Ted a couple days later saying that the refund had already been processed by their accounting department on December 1st (the day I picked up the vanity). This seemed odd because this was a Sunday and I had been told their accounting department was not open on weekends. I was told the delay in processing must be with my bank. When I called my bank they clarified that refunds like this are all done electronically and therefore instantaneously and that there would be not reason for the bank to delay the credit of these funds to my account. I AGAIN called and explained this to Ted (getting increasingly frustrated at this time) and told him all these back and forth calls and the unfulfilled promises about how long it would take to process the refund was unreasonable. It was then that he called ME unreasonable!! Really?! I don't think I was being unreasonable at all considering all that had happened over one simple vanity...but truth be EVEN if I was being a little unreasonable because I was REALLY frustrated...that's pretty horrible customer service...not to mention REALLY RUDE. Before hanging up Ted had also assured me he was going to get documentation of the credit from accounting and email it to me on Monday so I could follow up with my bank (whose fault he still claimed it was). Of course...this DID NOT happen. I heard nothing...and still have not heard anything. I don't want to bash this company as a whole because I did talk to a couple people at the Customer Service center 1-800 number who were VERY helpful and courteous and explained the refund procedure WAY better than Ted could in the several conversations I had with him. And for the price, the vanity was reasonable quality. But I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with the Kent store. You'd be much better buying online and having your purchases shipped...well worth the shipping charges! read more

I heard about Cabinets to Go from my contractor. I have been searching for cabinets for a remodel of an investment property. After visiting the big box stores (bleh!) and their lack of customer service, I was blown away by the kind and considerate staff at Cabinets to Go. I met with Josh. He was knowledgable, honest, and extremely helpful. Oh, and patient, too! I didn't know what I wanted, but after an hour I left with samples and a game plan for my new kitchen. I'm impressed with the quality of the cabinets as well as the affordability. Their options for flooring, sinks, counters, faucets, etc. are great and a good value. Quality of cabinets 5 stars! National customer care center 1 star! The cabinets are top notch. You do have to put them together, but once you figure it out, it is a cinch. (There are a couple of U Tube videos that were very helpful). All wood, no pressed board. You don't have as many options as you would at Home Depot or a cabinet store, but saved us a bundle. We had trouble getting our entire order. We were picking up items for 6 weeks to complete the order. Makes it a bit frustrating when you are in the middle of a remodel. We also had a couple damaged items, but the items were replaced in a timely manner by calling the customer service center. Now....lets get to the biggie....Don't over pay these guys! It's been over a month since my refund of $720 was issued by the local store and I am still waiting for the refund to my credit card. Absolutely unacceptable. Calling the customer care center was fruitless, they kept telling me they would look into it and call or email a response. Not luck. They wouldn't let me speak to the accounting department. Just run around. I'm calling my bank tomorrow. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service... initially great when Maryanne was there.. I bought vinyl flooring and cabinets from them. The cabinets are beautiful and perfect, no issues.. DONT buy the vinyl flooring.. cheap Chinese crap.. they don't show you the locking mechanism which is a thin piece of plastic that pulls out on the butt end, the long sides snap off very easily very brittle with your fingers.. after install I heard snapping for a couple of days, later the joints pulled apart.. they wouldn't stand behind the product as defective.. tried to keep blaming install.. subfloor was level.. had to eat the costs and redo my floor again!! I've called numerous times to see if my scribe trim and touch up paint has arrived, due to arrive in spring for the paint and then aug for the trim.. no one has ever called to tell me it arrived.. they won't ship direct to my house.. read more

Had problems with poorly stained cabinets and warped doors. Customer Service was very helpful and always sent out new pieces which was great, but held up install of countertops because we were pulling cabinets and replacing The final warped door sat at Kent location for several weeks and I was never called. I had to track it down. Contractor has seen these problems before with other customers. Will not use this company again. read more

I ordered cabinets from cabinets to go in 2019. The design was done by Jorge who is apparently was pulled from working in the loading area. He did seem like he knew what he was doing but when we put our cabinets together they had a drawer opening into the side of our stove. So we then had to order another cabinet the remedy the problem. On His original draw we took home and measured everything out and you would not have been able to walk between two of the cabinets. We ended up with several items that we did not need and in order to return them we would be out 20% due to their 20% restocking fee. They do not have designers they use their loading crew to draw up your designs.. So beware read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I would have given them 0 star if I could. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. They never respond properly and as soon as they get your money they do not care about you anymore. I bought my cabinets from them in October and the instalation date was a deal braker for me which I told them. After they get the money they told me the installer is going on vacation and I had to deal with them for the longest time to get the time I was told initally. At the end they treat me in a way that they are doing me a favor after getting paid $7000. I call them and they never respond. Somehow our sales Person, Josh, was always busy and he would tell me I will call you back but he never would. Honest to god he would not return my calls or texts for one week. Which was the case for the manager as well. Comes the instalation day, they do not send me the sink and instead send me molding which I did not want. At the ordering time the sales person was not attentive and he made multiple mistakes. On the instalation date I have to run around to get my sink which they do not have the exact one I want and they gave something that I am not satisfied with. They Tell you we have life time warranty. My cabinets doors were damaged when they got here. The installer saw it and took pictures. I called the store they tell me we will take care of it, but they never called back I mean NEVER. I called the customer service, they told me 60-90 days and it has been 10 months and I still do not have my doors. It took me 1 month to get my handles which I had paid for. I to call them multiple times and everytime they told me we will call you back and they never, never did. read more

I recently bought cabinets from CTG, working directly with Michael Taylor on designing layouts for 2 kitchens, 1 kitchen island, pantry, and laundry room. In short, the service level was best-in-class and was way more than what I had expected considering the trade off I've typically experienced between a retailer's price point and service level. My project wasn't the easiest at all, as my SFR property is fully under construction and being taken from 1400 to 3100 sqft, with crews running around everywhere. But Michael stuck with it and both Michael and Marianne came out a second time to make sure the layouts would work before they order. The cabinets arrived within 2 weeks, but Michael did set expectations by letting me know that the order could take up to 3-4 weeks to arrive considering the time year with the holidays and all. Additionally, CTG offers its own financing, so I was thrilled when Michael informed me of this, as I had expressed that I've been managing to a tight budget. Note that we haven't unpacked or installed the cabinets, but I'm confident all will be well when the time comes. I'll be sure to provide an update and post pics once we've done so. I came into Cabinets to Go, not sure what to expect with rough measurements of my kitchen. Randy was great through the whole process. I was pretty picky on what I wanted and he took his time to make sure I understood the process and didn't get upset when I kept changing things around. It was a great experience for someone who has zero experience with any type of remodel or purchasing cabinets. I loved being able to see the 3d model to make sure that I liked the look of everything. It was such a good deal, I'm going to also do my bathrooms. I will be back on Saturday to place my order. While I like the cabinets I purchased, the customer service at this location is awful! They indicate that they will call you when the cabinets arrive, however I had to call the store to check on the cabinets because they never called me. I was just putting cabinets in a laundry room and was not on a tight deadline (thank goodness) because with the original order one of the side panels was damaged so it had to be reordered....which took another couple of weeks. Next I decided to order crown molding and another side panel...again no one called me when it came into the store. After calling and finding out that my order was in, I drove from my home over an hour away to find out that the wrong pieces had been ordered. I was less than impressed with the managers response when I suggested that they had very poor customer service. (you may want to read some of the other reviews to see the pattern here). So they ordered the "right" pieces again (another 2 week delay) and I drove home. They did finally call me when the corrected order came in and said they would deliver it to me so I wouldn't have to drive 2 hours to pick it up. After waiting another week with no follow-up from the store, I called and they said they would deliver the items the next day. I finally gave up and drove the 2 hours to pick up the pieces myself. If you decide to purchase from this location make sure you have plenty of time allocated in your project plan to deal with delays due to damaged/incorrect products and slow response times. It might also be very helpful to live close to the store so that you can easily make several trips. read more

We ordered kitchen cabinets here in June, received them in July with several pieces broken and one cabinet completely messed up. We have still not received the replacement cabinet and other pieces and it has been over 4 months since we reported the damages. We were told they would be in last week and nobody seems to know where they are or have called to tell us they are in. We also ordered a bathroom vanity that was supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago, but when I call to ask where it is nobody knows. That is, if anyone actually answers the phone. The Kent store has the worse customer service I've experienced in a long time. Michael the manager doesn't return calls or emails. I live 6 hrs away from Kent, Wa. James assured me he would make sure all the cabinets were in before we drove 6 hrs, another employee also said he double check. But when we get there we a short a cabinet door. 2 weeks later I received from UPS the wrong door. We then are assured the correct cabinet will be sent once the regional manager got involved. After another week we had to go a different direction on the cabinets. We spoke to customer service Brittney, which was very helpful and cancelled the order. She then contacted the manager Michael for the refund since it was purchased at his store. It's now been 10 days and no refund. Sent 2 emails and left a message with James to have him call and no response. Sad because the product is really good and the service I received from the Oakland, Ca store was so good. My contractor builds 4 Spec houses a year and liked the product, but since service is so bad he can't take the chance of not having what he need on a timely matter. Store lost out on about $80,000 at least a year on this one contractor. read more

Finding out that we needed brand new everything is even more STRESSFUL, but as soon as we walked in into your facility Michael Taylor greeted us with a smile and had made our life super easy!!! He has been extremely helpful and patient with us every step of the way. From coming to our house to measure everything, to helping us order the cabinets! We are builders and have been in the business for 32 years and have never had such poor service and product. We went to CTG based on advertising by designers. We ended up getting our order with many cabinets and parts missing. After months of phone calls and trips to their Kent location, we still do not have everything we ordered and paid for. The representatives do not seem to care and are not helpful. In addition, the quality is not up to par. Any savings we originally had, has been gobbled up in extra labor time. We have had to re-design and fill in as we assembled the cabinets. Our company will not EVER use them again!!!! read more

I began looking for some cabinets to match my kitchen table. After searching many places I found exactly what I was looking for at Cabinets to go. Not only that but they were well priced. The cabinets are solid wood construction and soft door closures and they look beautiful. HOWEVER...... We were promised a 10 day delivery time and they finally arrived 3 weeks later. Putting together the cabinets was not exactly easy and two pieces came to us damaged. One was a door front. We called customer service and all seemed fine. Not only did it take a month to get the replacement door but the customer service by Daniece was some of the worst I've ever received. We had already driven to the store twice (45 minutes each way) to order then pick up. Then I had to return an item I specifically told them we couldn't use, but was ordered anyway. When I went to pick up the door front my husband was told that Daniece said the entire box was coming, not just the door. When he said he only needed the door, which we sent photos of the damage, she said that's just the way the order comes. When I got there for the fourth time we didn't get the door front but the box. The store sales person got Daniece on the phone and after 10 minutes of him clearly being frustrated with her, he handed the phone to me. I was expecting an apology. Instead she then proceeded to scold me. "You ordered part XYZ123 right ? and that's what you agreed to, I'm very careful with my orders and I don't get these things wrong" she said. I told her I don't know part numbers, all I know was that we sent you a picture and said we needed the door front and that's not what is here. She then continued to scold and berate me blaming me for ordering the wrong part. I mentioned that we sent photos and that she told my husband to expect the entire box. According to her, we didn't order the right part number and therefore this is our problem. ?????? What the hell ever happened to customer service, cabinets to go? Remember the customer is always right? I would never recommend them or ever order from them again. The customer service and delivery promises were horrible. I simply cannot give any stars but am forced to give one. Our cabinets arrived in "stages" and was blamed on the ordering process. At one point, someone called us and said they are trying to FIND some cabinets that will match what we purchased. What!?. Further, we wanted glass doors just like what was ON DISPLAY. We received a phone call telling us the glass doors were not an option. (This was part of the charm of the design and what I wanted! What kind of cabinet company rejects glass doors?) Our project is being held up (now 45 days)and counters cannot be installed costing us more money because we cannot get our house rented without a kitchen. Don't go this route unless you have unlimited time and don't care about finishing on time. I was excited to find them originally as I have several apartments I'm remodeling and could have used them. Currently, the apartment remodel (using a custom cabinet maker) is almost done and I just started a few weeks ago. It will save you in the long run to use a company that cares about "making it right with the customer" and giving the customer what they need. This is the first...and last...I will use them. I could NEVER have a delay like this in the rental industry. Lastly, they took more money out of my bank account than authorized. How about an extra $725! I was looking for some raised panel builder grade cabinets for a flip. The cabinets are great and are better quality than their competition. The cabinets I initially ordered came in on time except for 1. When I received it, I needed to exchange it for a smaller cabinet. I ordered it and the store assured me it would be available for pick up the following week. OK, good. I went into the store and the cabinet was not there. I asked to have the cabinet expedited because I have granite guys waiting. They charged me for shipping (for their mistake) and promised it to me by the 10th. It's the 11th and I don't have it. While I understand delays, these guys just can't deliver what they promise and don't seem to be too concerned about correcting THEIR mistake or HELPING me make my deadlines. It's pretty sad because I have the potential to order a LOT of cabinets, but they just don't seem to care about that either. Buyer beware. read more
