At this point, we're too worn down to try to do anything else to fix. Update: After this review was posted, the company acted quickly. A representative personally picked up the damaged drawer, and a replacement was delivered the following day. We appreciate the effort and urgency once the issue was escalated. We were also provided a $25 Starbucks gift card. **Extremely disappointing experience.** We initially exchanged emails with the company and were told the cabinets were expected in **3-5 business days**. Based on that timeline and the communication we received, we decided to make the 45 minute drive to their showroom to look at colors in person. Once we got to the showroom, the same salesman changed the estimate to **5-7 business days**. Even though that was already different from what we were originally told, we still decided to move forward and paid in full on **June 5**. At the 5-business-day mark, I checked in and was told they were waiting on one base cabinet due to container delays, but that it should arrive "early this week." By midweek, at the 7-business-day mark, I followed up again because I had not heard anything. I was then told they were still waiting and would check for an ETA. From **June 15 through June 23**, the updates continued to be delays and unknown timelines. When the cabinets were finally ready, our contractors picked them up. They wanted to test/QC everything before leaving, but were assured that the company had video of their own rigorous QC process. In hindsight, we should have insisted -- because what arrived was nowhere near properly quality checked. These "preassembled" cabinets were anything but. A tower cabinet still had to be fully assembled because they considered that part of "install." Drawers were not sliding properly, cabinets were not closing correctly, they forgot to include one of the skins, no touch-up kit was provided, and one of the drawers for our tower was busted and completely unusable. Because of the poor assembly and missing/damaged pieces, we had to pay our contractor far beyond a typical cabinet install just to fix issues that should never have left the company in that condition. Now, more than **30 days after purchasing**, we still do not have a complete cabinet order. The company is unwilling to simply bring us a replacement drawer. Instead, they expect us to take on the time and cost to drive back to them first to drop off the broken drawer before they will even begin working on a replacement. They have only offered to possibly deliver the new drawer "whenever" they have a future delivery in our area, with no confirmed ETA. At this point, the entire experience has been delays, poor communication, poor quality control, incomplete materials, damaged components, and zero urgency to make things right. We paid in full, paid for assembly, and still ended up with incomplete cabinets and extra contractor costs because of their mistakes. I would absolutely not recommend this company unless you are prepared to chase updates, absorb delays, pay extra to fix their assembly issues, and handle the legwork yourself when something goes wrong.

I like Kohler products and was happy to see there is a showroom in Scottsdale. It is in a funny location like the backside of a strip mall, but navigation got me there no problem. Excellent customer service. Very friendly. Upon entering we were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted any water. They have so much took at from bathrooms to kitchens and even an indoor sauna but apparently this is the higher end of Kohler and the lines that have available here are different from what you might find at Home Depot, Lowes and Costco. There were so many great ideas and I love that they have the entire collections grouped together with the different bathroom fixtures and then little display areas throughout the store. Why is it that I am always gravitating towards the most expensive thing in the store? There were so many cool things like recessed body length medicine cabinets, a very cool customizable vanity, bidets (from standard to Cadillac!!) and then smart showers -- I mean if only!!! I do wish they had some color brochures to take home with you because it is so hard to see online, but I did appreciate that one I had the knowledge about the different collections and finishes I could go back home to the website and make more choices. Another area that was bit annoying is they had items that were discontinued still on display -- so you had to ask if the item was available still --- I guess twice a year they have a sale of these discontinued or floor models but he said it wasn't going to be happening for a while. The sales guy did mention that you get a better cost going directly through the showroom as opposed to ordering off the internet -- so I will be keeping that in mind. Experienced horrible customer service and unethical business practices w/Baker Bros. Marcos 'lead installer'; refused to park in designated spot to accommodate his large trailer then tells us there's nowhere big enough on property to cut carpet & install! Condo is empty, we are moving into it next day. After calling salesperson about having no idea large space was needed to cut carpet then finally connecting to GM Paula about inexplicable lack of communication on BB part (she agreed), Marcos assures me he can & will cut carpet at Bb warehouse then return within an hour or so & install master bedroom carpet. Installers leave & never return. I spent hours proactively following up on where Marcos was only to be told by Chris (Marcos supervisor) he allowed Marcos to go home b/c Marcos wasn't satisfied with designated parking spot! Said he felt it was "a hostile work environment." every vendor has parked there; no vendor ever complained nor refused to park there. Marcos lied to me about completing job, Chris complicit in this lie. I prepaid thousands of dollars to have a subcontractor take it upon himself to walk off the job b/c he 'didn't want to get another ticket from the police' (parking spot 100% legit/legal numerous people from management team trying to accommodate him). Paula & Chris then assure me that carpet CAN be pre cut at warehouse. After a very long & exhausting move, Paula at BB did a 180 by denying they ever told me this saying "no one at Baker Brothers from salesperson to scheduler to Paula to installer was aware nor educated on the type of carpeting I ordered...sorry." Paula repeatedly dismissed that Marcos lied to me/blew us off. Ended with passive aggressive 'we apologize that you're feeling frustrated.' No accountability on BB part. Refuse to reimburse me...keep saying I have to find a space on property for them to cut carpet!! Paula & Chris refuse to tour property themselves despite 2 invites to do so. Local media (ABC/FOX) doing investigative piece on Baker Brothers unethical behavior, poor customer service and questionable legal subcontract hiring practices.

Details? Well, I arrived at 12:55pm on Saturday, when they claim that their hours of operation were until 1pm. Now, I'm not sure how you interpret a 1pm close. For most retail establishments, I think it means you can walk in up until 1pm, with more time to do your shopping. However, the sales manager had other ideas. I was told they were closing down at 1pm, and I had to leave. Yes, that's right, the manager told me to get out. I tried to negotiate my expulsion because there was a strong recommendation by my contractor to buy from them. I thought it would be okay to accommodate the store manager and just get things done in like, 1 minutes. So I pulled out samples I had brought with me (my choices were already made for the most part, and I was looking for cheaper/nicer alternatives) and said, "This won't take any time if you can just tell me if you have anything to match these here sample. See?" The manager looked down at the sample tiles, frowned, then looked up at me and said, "Sorry, nothing really like that here." I looked at my wife to see if she wanted to press further, but she was heading for the door. Not saying anything that would make my native New York accent overly apparent, I picked up my tile samples and left. However, there's more. The final insult took place when their locked exit door would not open. The same friendly manager (so called) looked very annoyed as she leaned heavy into the bolt and forced the door open. In my defense, that door was not user friendly. Now maybe I should have known better than show up 5 minutes before closing. And maybe I should have been better acquainted with the door lock used at Emser. However, I really don't think either was the problem. To get some closure, I spoke with my general contractor the next day using my New York accent to communicate my unhappiness (man did that feel great!). He called the regional sales rep who, that same day, did leave an apologetic voicemail on my cell. I didn't call back, though. It wasn't worth the effort. I guess there are tons of people who buy Emser tile and are quite happy with them. However, I can only assume they come early in the morning and wait politely for the doors to open. All good, but I will not be one of those people.

The sellers had 2 lounges, 2 chairs, a semi-circle couch, a gas fire pit with a stone top and a large dining table that sat 10. After being told "no and please do not ask again" the first two times, the seller relinquished the chairs, couch and fire pit on our third attempt and my wife and I were thrilled because the pieces were way above the quality of the big box stores and they fit perfectly in our yard. Regarding the furniture itself, the iron is solid, heavy duty and the welds look overdone (to my eye). The finish is clean and stylish and holds up to the desert heat and cold. While my folks were in town to visit our new home we stumbled upon the Phoenix location and met with Justin who listened to our excitement about the pieces we got and answered our questions about the other items we hoped to replace. My mom ended up ordering 2 lounges as a house warming gift (to replace the ones we did not acquire with the home) and Justin made the sales process very friendly and easy going (he stayed past closing to finish our paperwork). This week the delivery showed up right on time and the two lounges look fantastic. As it turned out our cushions were made with the wrong color but the delivery guys noticed right away that the old and new cushions did not match and they said "don't worry, we'll take care of it. Enjoy these cushions for now and we'll replace them in a week." Everything they said they would do, they did. My experience with the product and everyone working for Arizona Iron Furniture has been totally positive, pleasurable and professional. When I first called, Darcy was very responsive, sending the quote and answering questions quickly. She also came out personally to measure the space for the cabinets and offered wonderful advice for design. For example, when trying to decide how deep we wanted the cabinets, she suggested to keep the cabinets within a certain depth so that the light fixture would still be centered above the dining table. I didn't even think about how the cabinet size would affect placement of the table and chandelier. After we placed the order, the cabinets arrived on time and the installer came a couple days after. Our installer Ricky did an excellent job and was efficient and polite. Now that the cabinets are installed, I am so happy. They are my favorite upgrade to our home. I am thankful to Darcy and Cabinets by Design for doing a phenomenal job! I will post an update with a photo once the dining room is complete with dining table and decor.
