My husband and I booked 3 excursions through Cabo Adventures in December for our honeymoon, and I am really happy with our experiences. The prices are increased compared to what you can bargain for on the beach or docks. However, Cabo Adventures provides reliable transportation to and from the excursion, great service and was completely safe. I would definitely recommend spending a bit more money to take away the hassle of dealing with things yourself and to ensure you have a good and safe time. We did a sunset dinner sail, a day sail and snorkel and the Sea of Cortez adventure. Every single time we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The guides and staff are all incredibly friendly, fun and accommodating. They all speak excellent English and do everything they can to make sure you're having a good time. They also make sure you feel 100% safe at all times. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great for our Sea of Cortez excursion and we didn't get to swim with the Sea Lion colony, but we still enjoyed the trip overall. Cabo Adventures also provides transportation to and from your excursion with your booking. We stayed in San Jose Del Cabo and had no issue at all with transportation through them, despite being further out. The drivers were always fairly punctual and we never had to wait very long beyond our pickup time. Even when returning after the excursion, they say the bus leaves every hour but we were always brought back to our hotel almost immediately. I would definitely recommend booking with Cabo Adventures. I will definitely book with the Mexico Adventures (cabo or any of the sister companies) when vacationing again! PS: they have a 50% sale for black friday and relatively good sales on occasion. I definitely recommend you book ahead and look for a sale because it makes the prices comparable to what you'd find with smaller retailers. read more

Aside from the 45+ minute van ride to and from their ranch everything was outstanding. Began with a briefing, safety check and wearing mandatory protective equipment, distribution of bikes and test ride. Our guide Dulce was fantastic. She easily sized up the group and made sure to keep everyone in line and in view. We headed out to the beach and raced up and back a few times to get everyone aquianted with this easily mastered bicycle which allows you to pedal with ease and cruise through the sand and hardpan. The adventure continued into the desert for some more racing or just cruising. It was fun and exhilarating with speeds of almost 25mph. The whole ride is about an hour and we were told we did just under 9 miles. Like I said you can just cruise along or use it as a workout, so I would recommend this tour for anyone who can ride a bike. The fun did not end when we put the bikes away. We walked to a shady overhang, made fresh salsa, margaritas and dined on pork, cheese and vegetable quesadillas. We had a great time with Dulce learning about tequila who narrated the ingredients as we all sang and danced with our shakers. The food and drink was plentiful and delicious. Great tour and value! Great Job *****Dulce*****. On another note a photographer follows along and take action photos during your ride. At the end there is no pressure to purchase them but I think the prices were too high. Each picture was $39 or a package for $120. In this digital age, I think they would do far better offering lower pricing for the photos considering all day long you can take all of the photos you would like with your phone. Just my take on it! Our experience at Cabo Adventures started amazing. The staff was super nice at the counter and everyone is very enthusiastic/charismatic. The real change in experience for me was when our friend was involved in an accident with the ATV. He fell off and was injured, however, the whole reason why this accident took place was due to immaturity on the employees part who handled our tour. He led the boys off tour at extreme speeds that no one else in the group was invited to reach. This was extremely unsafe and a huge hazard. I do feel this employee needs to be reprimanded as this could have been much different had more injuries occurred. The trail for the ATV is not completely paved for a safe ride- lots of huge protruding rocks and branches that sometimes scratched you or even could tangle your hair. Our tour was also shortened and the package deal we purchased was not fairly timed. The camel ride was about 20 minutes, eco farm an hour, and ATV ride about 30 minutes. We didn't get any money refunded for this nor did the said employee apologize. Our friend was coerced to go to a hospital because "he had full coverage from the liability purchased". In fact, they proceeded to get upset when we said we didn't want to go, however, our friend needed stitches and we didn't know if the hotel had staff with essentials to do that. Upon their arrival to the hospital, we found out the service was in fact not covered and then again jipped out of $1,800. I feel Cabo Adventures lied to us and coerced us to do things their way. Their was a lack of empathy and severe lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service. All in all, I would never book a tour with them. read more

The tours are great. So far I've done the sunset sailing one. The crew was very funny and friendly. They were always helping patrons get their balance because the boat moves a lot. A big reason why I would not give it 5 stars is because the pick up times at the hotel are always late. For the sunset tour, the transportation was 30 minutes late. I have the atv, camel, and eco farm excursion and I have been waiting for 30 minutes. I had to call to call just to make sure they were still coming. read more

The BEST idea we were given when booking our Mexican vacation was to go on the Cabo Adventures zip line! These guys are a class act! Caring, CAREFUL, charismatic and just plain fun to be around. I was the last in line for the fist zipline (on purpose) but soon was shoving old ladies and tossing babies to get to the front (joking). Seriously though, you HAVE to do this tour. We did the sunset and the snorkel tour...sunset was pretty great except they thought celiac meant vegetarian . I understand celiac ( gluten ) is hard to accomodate but they said they could and gave me an extra hand band so that people on the boat would know.. both times the crew looked confused so if you have allergy as much as the people helping you book will tell you its fine , its not so maybe plan on bringing your own food They cut our snorkel tour by 30 to 40 min not sure why ... The worse was transportation . Currently in uber headed back to our hotel on our dime despite paying for transport through them because they told us we have to wait 1 HOUR to get a ride back and they stop at multiple hotels on the way back . We spent a generous amount of time with Kaahal and Max and enjoyed everything from kisses with the dolphin to a swim with him and a truly immersive interaction. There was a finale of jumps and tricks and Max gave us a wonderful reminder of the conservation efforts that are neccessary right now to preserve habitat for dolphins and all treasured marine life. At the end of our dolphin play time, we showered and went to the photo shop. The prices for the photos were very reasonable, especially given the expertise of our photographer Saul and Videographer (Chloe?). I visited Cabo Adventures to go on a pre organized yacht for my friends wedding, so I didn't research this place much like I would normally do before booking activities in another country. Much to my dismay and horror this place had two dolphins in captivity swimming in circles inside a tiny pool with beach balls they used to entertain people. If I had not been there for someone else's special event I would have left immediately. I'm horrified that places still do this knowing the intellect and ultimate negative consequences of such a beautiful animal in captivity. It's disgusting. The pretense of doing this for educational purposes has long been debunked and we all know this to be false. Don't support this organization. It's abhorrent. read more

Tour operators are a dime a dozen in Cabo. Cabo Adventures is an epic fail. We booked a group (five of us) to participate in the Camels in Cabo excursion during our port of call stay with Norwegian Cruise Line. We didn't go thru NCL but rather, thru Expedia. We paid, received our vouchers and were ready to go. Upon check in, all went to hell in a hand basket. No greeting was made by Marianne, just the excuse "these are vouchers and not confirmed" (so news flash...vouchers mean squat to this business). All the while the owner even proceeded to advise we would have never been confirmed even if we met the "call 48 hours prior to event time" It really shouldn't matter how an excursion is booked since many 3rd parties offer the Camel Safari (TripAdvisor, Expedia, or the vendors very own website even). My point is that we were treated very poorly, never offered an alternative adventure nor a refund. Buyer beware and save yourself the headache of booking with this company. Just grab a water taxi and make your own excursion. read more

I booked a zip-lining adventure with Cabo Adventures with Princess Cruises. We were met on the pier after arriving by tender boat. Our little group was escorted by air-conditioned Mercedes van to Sierra de la Boca outside of Miraflores for zip-lining. We boarded an open-air Jeep to escort us up the hill where the course was. The area was about an hour outside of Cabo San Lucas. We were told to use the restrooms and put our packs and purses in a plastic container for safe keeping. No photos or videotaping allowed beyond this point. Our group of 9 went through a quick training session and were equipped with harnesses, carabiners, leather gloves, and helmets. We hiked a short distance to the first zip line. I ended up going first so they hooked me up and off I went. There was always someone at each point to help you attach and detach from the zip line. There are also water stations available too because you will get thirsty. It was warm out so I was grateful for the cold water. They have a designated photographer that will take photos and video as you descend via zip line. You can even zip line upside down on 2 of the lines if you choose. All of the crew was super amiable and cordial. We had a great time and amazing views of the valley. At one point they have us walking across a wire, repelling down and climbing back up, which was more strenuous an activity than I initially expected. It was fun! We were also encouraged to tip the crew afterwards for keeping it fun and safe. Once we finished the last line, we were back where we started and invited to enjoy a small lunch of quesadillas made with handmade tortillas. The red spicy salsa was seriously spicy. I loved it! They also offered some hibiscus tea, cucumber water, and ice water as refreshment. At this point, we also had the option of purchasing the photos or video of the days adventure. I ended up getting a photo print for $20. There was no option to get just a digital copy of it but you could buy the photo package. Of course, I understand that this is how they make additional money so I can't fault them for trying to upsell the photo packages. I'm glad I did the zip-line adventure because it was fun. read more

Great, but not perfect. Cabo Adventures is the most expensive tourist company in Cabo. Is it worth the 2x prices? Yes. Why? They're a legitimate business and will provide the best services. From the complimentary shuttle services (in new Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans) to all the employees speaking fluent English (not a problem for us, but I can see why it can be very convenient for non-Spanish speaking tourists, this place is great. Cons? Watch out for hidden fees. We paid over $600 at the storefront, and we were told many times this is the total cost, but for every activity we did, we were charged another $50-100 for "miscellaneous fees." The workers here likely deserve the money more than we do and we were obviously not going to cause a scene or disturb the other tourists. Just be careful and expect to pay more than what you expect. It is still the best quality of services you will get out here. Especially if you have children, this place will ensure the safest experiences. read more

Probably the biggest, best known, and definitely most promoted (and also usually most expensive experience even with their discount deals) local excursion/adventure activity company in the area. It is the only company that sometimes charges for transportation - and often prohibits taking photos (so that they can sell packages of ones they took) - but is generally very professional at what they do (and offers a few unique adventure activities and experiences or amenities that none of their many competitors do - like indoor skydiving and ocean "fly boarding"...and only whale shark boat with a toilet). Unfortunately, they don't always deliver all of what they promise - and can often seem set up mostly to sell guests photos they took (priced as much or more than their tour/experience itself). IF you like the photos they took, the best package "value" to buy is almost always the one for $50 - digitally downloaded to your cell phone, assuming it has that capacity and the memory available - as memory sticks of the past are no longer provided. More time is spent taking photos to sell with their camels than actually riding them. While at the Eco Farm, they also might not even take your group to all the stations - emphasizing mescal over cacao. Surprisingly, they don't sell the tequila or mescal or other liquor they offer to taste again and again. While their "luxury" sailing is in some ways better than what many others offer, it might not actually end up being sailing at all but just motor boating. read more

Out of all the photos, I liked only about 6, which I could have possibly paid for but I opt out on purchasing anything. It's a shady business praactice. People go for the experience and would like to purchase maybe 1-2 photos for memories but they give you no options. I went on 3 excursions- sunset sail, Sea of Cortez Wildlife & Snorkeling Adventure, and the Whale Shark Encounter. The sunset sail was great. Rafa was a nice host. He was attentive. They had a nice selection of drinks, and the food was good. The captain did a great job of getting us a nice view of El Arco as the sun went down. The Snorkeling adventure was fun. The guide, Michelle, was knowledgable and a great hostess. We swam with some very curious sea lions. Breakfast and lunch were tasty. The catamaran had plenty of room for all of the guests. After swimming with sea lions, they served us lunch and adult beverages as we cruised over to a nearby island and dropped anchor for some free time for snorkeling, swimming, and sunbathing. You are allowed to swim, but not step onto the island. It can get windy, so bring a jacket. The only downside to the trip was that a few of the other guests brought their own beer and got pretty drunk. The guide intervened and asked them to stop drinking. One of the drunk guys was incredibly rude to her. Whale Sharks- this was fun too. Be prepared to swim. If you can't swim, this is not the trip for you. The whale sharks are huge, but docile. You can get pretty close as you swim alongside them. Our boat and another boat were sharing the same shark. I wish each boat had sought out their own shark. Bring a waterproof camera and shoot video for the whale sharks and the snorkeling with sea lions. read more

Waiting to see how this turns out... picked up promptly as scheduled at our resort by Jose, along with 1 other couple. We had booked the same tour, at the same time, and-again, picked up together. (Jose was awesome.) We were checked in together & then told our name wasn't on the same list. The companion couple was on the 4pm we all booked but they said ours was 30min later. Seems peculiar- we weren't on the same reservation but booked the same thing & the same time, from the same location. We watched the other couple leave and we were told to wait, as we were on the next boat, despite both of us booking for the 4pm tour. Soooo, here we sit... again, waiting to see how this turns out. I don't find myself impressed thus far. 4pm has come and gone. We're still here. Update: We were advised we had waited for 4 missing guests. We started towards the boat when our party of 4, fall down drunk guests showed up. That put us at 5 couples. The captain assured all guests that it would not be a party boat and everything would be good. Well, our party of 4 ended up cut off, but, not before one of them hung off the boat, nearly knocked the photographer in, attempted to start a fight with 2 guests that were ignoring the party in general. Frankly, I'm stunned they let them on. One of the gals ended up "sea sick" after vodka number who knows how many. Afterwards, the 4 went to the right to harass the sea lions and everyone else went right. The evening ended with staff apologizing repeatedly for something that, in all seriousness could, and should, have been prevented. That wrapped up with girl breaking up with boy and the 2 of them taking off in different directions, with the 2 less drunk & more friendly giving chase. They asked the driver to wait. We boarded the van and left without them. Not sure if they sent another van for them or left them to sort it out. As for the actual tour - I would like to book it again and give them another try. I believe that they are capable of better, based on the other on board experiences. Staff were very attentive and informative. I brought a camera and they positioned the boat for me to be able to get some great shots, in addition to getting closer for us to see whales breaching. You do start the trek back before the official sunset, so it is a good time to move to the rear for optimal viewing. I can't recommend the food. Eat before or after. read more

Went in for a the safari camel ride with my family (group of 10). Our tour guide was Ivan, a very pleasant gentleman, knowledgeable, funny, very patient and kind. He made our experience even better. We are very grateful to have had such a professional guide. Big shout out to Ivan. The camel ride was beautiful, scenic. We then took a small hike, Ivan taught us about the surrounding plants and their benefits. We then went to a very tasty Mexican buffet provided by the excursion. Then ended our excursion with tequila tasting and a tortilla making class. A beautiful experience and an unforgettable memory. Highly recommend. We booked the Camel Ride on the beach after listening to a timeshare presentation. This tour included a Nature Walk with David. He's very knowledgeable and we learned about the various flora and fauna of Los Cabo. For example, some plants have medicinal uses, while others (like cactus) can be eaten, and some make tequila. We also enjoyed a buffet Mexican lunch and a tequila tasting of 4 varieties. The transportation by air conditioned bus between our hotel and the registration site (waiver signing) at Cabo Dolphins in Cabo San Lucas was appreciated. From there, we were taken by 4x4 to the camel campground on a beach on the Pacific Ocean side of the Baja peninsula. The camel ride was a fun experience - safe, beautiful, "rocky", and memorable! Overall, this was a well organized excursion where the group was divided into English and Spanish speakers. Photo packages were available for purchase. (We had photo ops with a camel.) If you book this camel ride adventure, make sure you wear sneakers and sunscreen. Helmets with safari style head wrap are provided. Enjoy! read more

Took a hour and a half to get there, that's after we picked up another couple in a whole different city! When we got to the adventure they did not want to give us water! They said we will get water at the end! We had 4 people on the ride up and 17 on the way back to the hotel. SO NOW INSTEAD OF 45 MIN RIDE, WE HAVE ANOTHER 2 HOURS to drop off all these new people. The Zipline adventure is awesome! I have done it a couple of times and still love every minute. A comfortable air conditioned bus picks you up at your resort (or someone else's after the walk of shame). About an hour past San Jose in the mountains you stop and hop onto an off road vehicle and get geared up with all kinds of safety essentials. Ok, so here is the down low, it is freaking hot in cabo so go in the morning. Wear good shoes and pockets that close too. You need $$$$ to tip the crew for keeping you safe and to, put a smile on the faces of these awesome tour guides. They sell beer and sodas at the end of the tour. A group photo, and they whisk you up and away. This trip includes 7 zip lines, a rapel wall, rock climbing wall, rope walks, swingy ladders and a hellofa good time. The GREEN team are professional and FUN tour guides. Breathtaking views enhance the thrill and each adventure is new, fun and a little challenging. I Love the zip line, and you get to do some fun variations too. One of them is a double decker if you want to and another one you get to fly upside down, the final event. "superman" is a 4,000 foot ride at up to 60 MPH, so fun! In between the zip lines the rock climbing, rope walking and repelling break it up. There is a "chicken Line" if you don't want to climb the scary ladder after repelling down the cliff, but I don't recommend that. Don't be a chicken, GO FOR IT! you will be energized and happy! A professional photographer gets action shots from his little perches along the way and you can grab a print or a CD to memorialize your triumphant zip line experience for about $100. I just did the Magical Todos Santos Tour and Camel Ranch excursion and it was really great! From the moment our guide, Marcelino, picked us up in the shuttle, I learned so much and really enjoyed exploring a new-to-me part of Mexico. The town was really cute and we saw some fun sights including Hotel California. I loved seeing the blanket factory and got to try my hand at the loom! Lunch at the camel ranch was delicious and included a tequila tasting. And I got some amazing photos with the cutest camel named, Juanito! My husband and I booked the electric bikes and off road adventure. This is our second time doing both activities. The RAD electric bikes were fun and easy to ride. The desert and beach rides were beautiful. Different experience than riding the streets back in the States. There was a family of four in our group and ages ranged from 10 to 66. Tour guides were excellent and the lunch, margarita making lesson and tequila tasting were mucho delicious! The off road adventure was wild and wet. Went on the sea adventures tour this past weekend in Cabo, and it was an awesome time! It took about 10-15 minutes to get from the dock by the marina to Chileno Bay, which was where the water activities took place. We had the option to snorkel, paddleboard and/or kayak. Of course we did all three since we had about 90 minutes on the water anyway. We were really excited about snorkeling because we had heard so much about how great the underwater views are... and we were a bit disappointed because we didn't see as much as we thought. But there was a really cool school of fish at one point where there were like hundreds of them swimming around in a circle, and saw a few puffer fish too. Stand up paddleboarding and kayaking made for a good work out for sure. The waves weren't too bad so we were able to stand up and paddle for a good while. On the way back, we rode to the arch and were able to check out the sea lions hanging out near Lover's Beach and Pelican Rock. That was a fun sight! During the ride, our guide Beth was very educational and helpful. There were also three others who were there to help us, one of them was a photographer. It was nice having someone there to take professional photos, but of course, they're going to charge you a lot for them in the end. We didn't end up buying any photos because they were way too much: $20 for one portrait, and I think about $50 for a CD of less than 10 photos? Not worth it, in my opinion. Also, the website's menu was definitely not what we had on the boat. The website stated some kind of chips and dip, but all we had were cookies and water. The water bottles were very nice, but I could've gone without the cookies. Overall, it was a great activity and well worth the money spent for the boat ride and three activities! But try to take some of your own photos if you don't want to end up paying more than you hoped to. read more

This was easily a five star business. I had booked the sunset sail around El Arco for us online about a month in advance. The day before departure I was sent confirmation via email. We were told we'd be picked up from our Airbnb at around 5-5:15 pm. When 5:20 passed I decided to give Cabo Adventures a call to see what might be happening. After giving my confirmation number they said the driver was running about 15 minutes late which really wasn't an issue for us. Upon arrival we were greeted, given a pink wristband, introduced to Pepe and boarded the beautiful sailboat. Unlimited drinks were included along with a dinner of all kinds of yummy bites. The sea breeze was amazing. The sunset was breathtaking. The whole trip was a little over 2 hours long and worth every penny! I'd highly recommend it to couples looking for a gorgeous time out on the water. read more

We've used Cabo Adventures multiple times before and even purchased our picture and videos for the Dolphin Adventure. We decided to take our nieces and nephew this time around so they could experience what we had in the past. Our trainer Mauricio was excellent, 5 stars. However, when we finished and went to purchase our photos and videos of our experience, they wanted almost 600 dollars for this package. Way more than we ever paid before. Absolutely ridiculous, and they weren't even willing to deal or offer a single photo. I've read the other responses to their 1 star ratings and if they needed extra money for research and care, then they need to find another way to raise this money and not pass this ridiculous expense onto their customers when purchasing photos and videos. I would NOT recommend this company, nor will I be purchasing their experiences moving forward when we visit Cabo. read more

My wife had a fabulous time on the luxury sunset sailing cruise. The staff, boat and scenery were awesome.

Absolutely the most awesome adventure I have ever done!! The guides were fun and personable. I will be doing this zip-line experience again the next time I am in Cabo. If you go try to get Ladis, Chai, Gus, Droney and Virgil. Absolutely awesome. And the food at the end was just as awesome. read more

Cabo Dolphins. Simply put, it's very EXPENSIVE (prepare for an additional $100 for photos). But yeah you swim with MOTHER FISHING DOLPHINS! And you get to ride one! So, yeah, maybe that's worth 10 IMAX 3D movies, or in my case, a day's pay. read more

I booked the sunset sailing tour for me and my two friends during covid. In the description it said it included towels so I left my towel behind. Email communication with them after they got payment was non existent. We get on a small sail boat and there was no space for social distancing. They had everyone seated close together and I was asked to share a towel with a stranger. I assume they tried to distract us from the underwhelming trip by constantly bringing us alcohol. All they seemed to be concerned with was taking photos of everyone to sell. I don't like writing negative reviews so I am going to just leave a photo and end with this. My wife and I bought the most expensive swim with the dolphins package. We were placed with some others and the whole experience took about 30 minutes. We did get to swim with a dolphin, and it was a unique experience for sure. Afterwards I expected to be over charged for pictures and video, but I was astounded to discover they charge $239 to get your pictures. That's more than the ticket to get in to begin with. That gouging ruined the whole thing for me, I felt like I was ripped off. read more

Ricardo and Jose were amazing!!! I highly recommend this excursion at 6pm. We were able to see the beautiful sunset and the lovely sun setting on the arch. Ricardo was informative and funny. Jose was the best captain we could of asked for. read more
