I also ordered the Cacoila sandwich which was also served with on a Portuguese roll and I opted for the seasoned fries which were very tasty. The pork was tender and flavorful, but again a bit salty for me. I don't use a lot of salt and my tolerance and taste of salt is low. Otherwise the sandwich & chowder had some nice flavors.

They had cookies and tarts that looked incredible (definitely going back to try those ), but we went for the classic vegan hot dog and it was so satisfying. Super flavorful, generously loaded with sauces, and that perfect crunch in every bite. It had that nostalgic street-food feel while being completely plant-based. After trying them at the fest, we're definitely planning a visit to their restaurant to explore more of the menu. My only other complaint is not particularly the fault of the restaurant, but I suppose just a side effect of the laidback vibes. A group of 7 or 8 people came in like 20 minutes after us and was so loud that I almost suggested we leave. My guess is they were drunk, but it was a Wednesday night around 6:00, so I wouldn't have expected that. They were so loud that I was yelling to my friend who was within arm's length. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the rice was cooked perfectly with just the right hint of sweetness, and the shaved Brussels sprouts with pickled onions and jalapeños added the perfect crunch and contrast. I genuinely couldn't stop eating. The service matched the food. Our waitress guided us with spot-on recommendations, and I must have told her six times that this was the best meal I've ever had.
