Okay so the service is friendly the place is clean & the portions are decent. But I ordered a medium sized passion fruit juice two arepas - 1 with chicken & cheese and the other with beef and cheese. Solid fare good taste but almost 24$ later and I felt like it was too expensive for only 2 arepas and a medium sized drink. If the prices weren't so damn ludicrous I'd go back.

I paid 16+ dollars for this. Please look closely at this picture. Simply opened this plate and it was untouched and look how this looks, like someone ate from it. The maduros (sweet plantains) given was one and a half. I'm actually pretty livid about this. Taste was disgusting. I had hope as usually smaller business tend to have better authentic tastes but this was bottom tier. I made a mistake in which I never make with this restaurant, which was not opening it up prior to making my exit. Absolutely never again.

I wanted something different and my coworker mentioned a place she tried the day before. It is definitely different and what I was in the mood for so "Arepa Mania" was on the menu. It's a small restaurant with lots of energy. The restaurant itself was clean and modern. They had digital boards promoting there new location and menu items. We were greeted by a wonderful young lady. She laughed and joked with us about how good my Spanish was. Once we ordered, we sat down and waited. Another employee came over and told us they were in business for six years and were excited about there new location. We took cards and wished them luck. When the empanadas came out, there was a bit of a hiccup, but they got things right and we left with our lunch. When I say this I mean this with respect, when I took the first bite I knew it was different. The taste stood out, in a good way. The outside was made of cornmeal and not tortilla. This gave the empanada a unique taste and it worked. I was insanely sold! They gave two different sauces as well. They two were delicious. I didn't know which I like dipping in more. It was definitely a place I would recommend. With food and service this good, it's no wonder why they are expanding.

My new favorite restaurant!!! AUTHENTIC VENEZUELAN FOOD! I got the PABELLON CRIOLLO which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND with frescolita soda . My man got a Patacon sandwich with passion fruit juice & was very happy with taste and portion size of the food. Presentation on point! Food was delicious . We were very happy with the food & Finished everything. Very good vibe here . The owner & workers here were very nice & made us feel comfortable. Loved the ambiance of the place. I'm half venezuelan and I was happy to see the restaurant was decorated with the Venezuelan flag & colors, Venezuelan hats , and salsa music was playing which I can appreciate. My pabellon criollo was sooo delicious I been craving it ever since. Definitely coming back here to eat with my family. Arepa mania has definitely gained me as a regular customer! 5 stars!

Taste better than it looks. Wish it was more put together. Less sauce more plantain. But taste good

There was a point in time where I ate lunch at Arepa Mania at least 4 days a week. They have the most amazing lunch specials which are very nutritious and well portioned for a hard working person or someone who is looking to get in good shape. The grilled chicken, black beans rice and plantain combo always hits home for me. For those of you who want to be a bit more adventurous, you should try the patacon. I personally am a big fan of the vegetarian one, which but you can't go wrong with any of them. If this store were to just sell one thing though, it would be the cachapa. Wow! Is this a dessert? Is it an appetizer? Is it the main course? I don't know but what I will say is that you'd be a fool if you didn't order one. Order it plain with Venezuelan cheese. Enjoy!

This was DoorDash, so keep this in mind. Delivery took FOREVER, so that could have affected the food. Also, I was working, so I was intermittently trying to stuff my mouth while completing documentation, meetings, and other tasks. I got several types of empanadas. Shredded chicken, cheese, shredded beef, pollo. My pollo mechado (chicken and cheese) and carne mechada/queso (shredded beef and cheese) were cancelled, as they were out of stock. I also got the club house pollo, which was disappointing, but that might have been affected by the fact it was delivered rather than consumed in-house. Made with grilled chicken, egg, bacon, cheese, ham, and accompanied by French fries, the sandwich fell flat for me. Pretty sure it would have been better hot and fresh, so I wouldn't deter anyone from trying it. But it could have used some seasoning. People rave about this Venezuelan place, so by all means try it . . . they have breakfast platters and sandwiches (mostly various combos of bacon, egg, cheese, ham), arepas, Venezuelan hotdogs. Other hot sandwiches like the Cubano and Philly cheese steak (but let's be honest--your corner bodega is better). Multiple types of burritos and other Venezuelan fast foods. Again . . . please try this place, especially in person. My food was delivered and took a long time, which again, isn't optimal. I'm not a fan of corn casings, which is a preference thing and a *redacted word that rhymes with bingo* thing, I am so embarrassed I can't make myself love corn tortillas and empanadas. And the mood was off, I was working. The empanadas, regardless taking so long, were delivered HOT! From what I read, the brick and mortar restaurant is clean, calm, and enjoyable, and they have a huge variety of Venezuelan dishes. Don't listen to me, and give it a try yourself, especially in person, not by delivery!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a staff member who was very welcoming. We ordered an arepa with shredded beef, yoyos with grilled chicken, and a chicha. Everything was delicious! Just be prepared to get a little messy. It's not exactly a first date spot lol. The chicha was especially good. It's a bit thick, which makes it feel more like a dessert drink. It tasted just like rice pudding, which I loved. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.

At first i didnt understand why then I realized they were donations for Venezuela victims from the earthquakes which was nice. My sister ordered me the Venezuelan sandwich "pepito" with chicken and steak. The sandwich was very good and tasty. It was a big serving and tasted like it was made with love. However, when my dad went to pay the bill at the end they tried to charge an operating fee of $7. My dad complained thats illegal and the lady tried to say its a fee to maintain the space. I never heard of an operating fee anywhere and for that I took off 1.5 stars. Please eliminate that fee if you want to keep customers because the food was great!
