It was absolutely beautiful, although I do think it could stand to be a little larger or limit the number of people allowed inside. There was a somewhat long wait just to get inside, and once we were in, the wait didn't really make sense. I'm used to having to wait at bars that have tables and servers, but Gingers had both while also being wall-to-wall people. Even though we ordered directly from the bar, we still waited nearly 20 minutes just to be able to place our order. The drinks themselves were really good and had great presentation. They were super pretty and definitely gave the aesthetic they were going for. That said, a lot of the experience did feel like paying to sit with the cool kids. I wish they would encourage people who were no longer drinking to give up their seats, especially when there were people still actively patronizing the bar who had nowhere to sit. There were multiple tables where people weren't even drinking, while everyone else was basically standing room only. I did appreciate that they have a dress code on the weekends and don't allow streetwear. Thankfully, I was dressed appropriately, but I did see them ask one young lady to remove her hat. Overall, I think I would go back, but probably on a weekday when it's hopefully less crowded. Hampton House is a great spot for a date night or fun girls night out our waitress also informed us that on Saturdays they transition into a nightclub kind of vibe starting at 10 PM and not closing till 2 AM. They have a mixture of house, music, and R&B. I love how the space gives a nice mix of a lounge and nightclub energy depending on when you go. As for the drinks, I tried the Misty Rose Mezcal cocktail and The BamBam clarified fruity pebble drink. They were both creative, smooth, and delicious in their own unique way. Food wise, I tried the Wagyu burger with fries and they were both very tasty. Overall, Hampton House delivers a memorable vibe with great drinks and good food. I can't wait to go back.
