Two word review: Honest, Responsive…read more This is my THIRD consecutive 5-star review for Rocklin Heating & Air. In the last 10 or so years in the area I've called RHA, one other place because they could get me to faster - had a bad experience, waited for RHA had an amazing experience, and decided they're going to be my ride-or-die for HVAC. I called them at 7am and by 11:30am their tech had fixed and tested everything and off to help someone else. Yesterday was the start of a heat wave and ... our AC unit quit on us. I called RHA as soon as they opened this morning at 7am, asked for Joe in particular, and they gave me a window between 10am and 12pm. Joe texted ahead of time at 10:30, diagnosed the blown capacitor, swapped it out, cleaned things up a bit, tested the coolant, answered a bunch of questions, and was on his way in just under an hour. The diagnostic was $129 and the capacitor was $186 today. By a complete and total coincidence, I had been running some experiments with home temperature sensors for the last week. You can literally see on these pictures exactly when the AC unit stopped working - and when RHA saved our bacon. The "other" place I called years ago only had a $79 diagnostic charge, but wanted to rip out and replace the entire HVAC system - and claimed we were taking our lives in our own hands by not getting it fixed with him immediately. Joe and RHA took care of everything for the diagnostic. Yeah, you can probably find someplace to charge you less for the diagnostic or maybe less for the part, but when your house is boiling hot / freezing cold, you want to be able to call on someone you can trust to help you out - and not take you for a ride.

He was very polite and got to work right away. Turned out to be a bad capacitor. Frank had everything we needed in his truck and was able to swap it out in no time. My primary point of contact for this job was Jeremy. He was actually another reason that I went with Super Bros, as I never felt like he was trying to upsell anything or push me into doing something I didn't want or need. He was clear about where there were options and where he has seen challenges from a project like mine in the past. His experience and demeanor were what locked it in for me. After agreeing to use Super Bros, the next week I was met by Mike, who walked through with me as he was point on the project. I work from home so I was around for the entire thing, but I can honestly say that there was barely any disruption to my workday. Yes, the water was off for one of the 3 days of work, but other than that and the expected noise of cutting out metal pipes here and there, the disruption was nearly invisible. Not only were they reasonably priced they were also very good. I haven't had service like that in a long time. The owners Adam and Matt were great and explained everything thoroughly. From the original install, they did not install some pieces right and have had a slow water leak, which now I have water damage that has been there for a few years, that I just discovered and need to get fixed. 2. I have called them 2x over the past 2 weeks. They haven't answered the phone, and they haven't called me back from the voicemails I've left. Update: Now that I left a Yelp review, the the office person called me back, claiming that I didn't call, and I didn't leave any voicemails. I told her again that I did, and she denied receiving either a call or voicemail. So I explained the problem of a water leak, and she said, "you didn't mention anything about a water leak in your voicemails." So obviously she did get them. Update: I spoke to one of the owners today about the necessary repair that I originally requested, which he claimed that a leaking pipe is normal, and quoted some plumbing terms that he obviously doesn't fully understand in order to try to detract from the main problem and try to avoid taking responsibility for their negligence. The sad thing is that they came out to look at the problem, the fix that I proposed was a $2 fix that would have taken 15 minutes, but they did something else and are trying to charge me $163 for unauthorized work. There is also a matter of damaged caused from the leak they caused, but I was willing to discuss the remedy to come to an amicable solution. Instead, the owner yelled at me, tried claiming that I was a liar, and refused to have a peaceful conversation about how to get this resolved. Based on my experience with the employees and owner, I wouldn't recommend them.

I have been really skeptical of all HVAC companies in the past 5 years. I have been burned by so many HVAC techs and wasted so much money. 4 different companies went through with different shadiness levels giving me different answers for the same HVAC issue. Every company kept telling me my freon was low and i most likely had a leak. One company even told me to just replace my brand new system cause "it was from China" The Jaguar tech (Jeff) definitely gave me some disappointed head shakes at previous work but was the only one to truly put his head down, work, and diagnose the root cause of the issue. He checked every part of the system before he gave me an answer on what he believed was wrong. After the diagnosis he detailed every part of the HVAC unit (and attic unit) and explained to me what he was looking for, what he found, and what he believed was the answer. I never felt like he was up-selling me. It wasn't even a freon issue to begin with and the filter drier needed to be replaced. After another visit and a 4 hour procedure my HVAC unit has been running smoothly all Summer 2026. I will seriously only call this company from now on.
