I called several places and was told they would need to call back to schedule a time. I didn't hear back from them or they weren't interested in what I needed done. I called Affordable Air Care in the afternoon to schedule servicing for a condenser unit and for a quote to install a new system. He showed up the next morning on time. Having worked in construction I know how companies give an estimate and then up-charge or they try to sell you on new equipment instead of maintaining the equipment you already have. That was not the case with Affordable Air Care. He checked both of my condenser units and was able to recharge them. He was very pleasant and answered all of my questions with explained how failing to maintain a system, one component not functioning as it should, or failure of a part of a system can affect and damage other the rest of the system. I asked how much refrigerant would be needed and based on the gauges he was able to calculate in his head how much he needed to add. He was spot on. Our AC broke last week when it was 111° outside. At first we just thought it needed a break since it has acted up like that in the past when it was really hot out. Well it never blew cold hair again and it had been off/blowing hot air from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm and it was about 82° in the house. Well we knew we had a big problem and found Affordable Air Care on here and since it responded to calls past normal hours we decided to give them a call The BEST decision my husband and I have ever made. Owner was really professional and was able to come and check it out literally the next morning. One of the components busted and he thankfully had a replacement in his vehicle. Not only replaced it but upgraded to a much better one. Our fuse also needed replacement which he also had on hand. Within 14 hours our AC was pumping cold air again even colder than it did before and all for a very reasonable price given that it was on a Saturday of all days. We used to use 1 Hour Heating and Air but we have decided to use Affordable Air Care for our future AC/Furnace needs. Local business, incredible service and affordable just like their name. I noticed moisture leaking through my ceiling and upon further investigation discovered my HVAC drain pan was overflowing. I was referred to Affordable Air Care and called to make an appointment. We agreed upon the next day at 10am. Well, 10am came and went and there was no sign of them. No call, no text, no communication whatsoever. They just no-showed me. That's annoying enough on its own, but in this case it cost me another day of getting this issue resolved, as I expected they'd be there at the agreed-upon time. If they were honest and said they didn't want my business, or simply didn't have the time, I would have likely kept them in mind in the future. As it is, they will never receive my business and you should seriously consider if you want to give them yours too. When I requested an appointment he has asked for me to call and remind him the next day. When that time came he didn't answer me until I called multiple times. He didn't come until the next day. One month later the problem started again and he will not respond to me or my husband. Got a second opinion and they confirmed he did not complete cleaning the AC drain line and was not doing it the correct way. Now I am paying triple the price and have bigger issues since the problem continued. Would no recommend this service for anyone.
