    Live music Sundays!
    Julia M.

Yes, it's a dive bar. But grab yourself a burger and a drink. There are wonderful people who attend the live music events who truly love the music and are friendly as ever. The quality of the musicians is notable. The servers are very sincere and do a great job. When I was there, it was packed. Lisa did a phenomenal job making sure we had everything we needed. There is a beautiful area out back with a fire pit. There is also a porto-potty to help with the long line to get to the women's restroom. The stall is VERY narrow, so it might be a good idea to make your way out back. Overall, great vibe. The fries are DELICIOUS, BTW!

    Thai Ginger Wings

Driven by this place many, many times and never stopped in. Boy have we been missing out... Stopped by with the hubby, luckily we hit upon Wednesday Wing Special!! $.35 wings with so many flavor choices, almost too many to choose... as well as lots of other menu items to try! We chose: Thai Ginger, Honey Mustard, & Sweet Teriyaki Along with a gourmet stuffie and homemade chips with their own special Cajun dip. All were delicious!! Fast and friendly service!! We will definitely be back again, we already know which flavors we'll be trying next time!

    So many wing sauces

If you want a comfortable bar with a local vibe and great food, go to Cady's. Went here tonight to try the wings, and was amazed at the beer selection (20 choices on tap) and the large pub food menu. So many wing flavors - we tried St Louis Sensation, which is their most popular sauce, and we also tried Bourbon Peach. Both were excellent, full of flavor and just a hint of spiciness. We also got a half order of nachos, which was delicious, and larger than full orders in most other restaurants. The bartender/waitress was super friendly and all around awesome. She let us know all about the weekly live music schedule and the ghostly experiences people have had at Cady's. Prices are very reasonable, and there are food specials nearly every day of the week. Looking forward to going back to hear some live music.

This is a small eatery (I counted max 39 seats between tables and the bar) with difficult parking…read more I was able to get a spot right in front b because I went to lunch, but the parking lot has signs saying it is for employees of the wood shop next door, and no trespassing in the lot across the street, so I think street parking is the only option? Service is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is what earns this three stars. I tried a stuffie, German onion soup, a Farmhouse burger, and a key lime Mason jar. The stuffie was a little small, and most of the flavor was imparted by the ham and the squeeze of lemon. The German onion soup, I'm not sure why it was German except to not be French? Outside the name difference, the onions were way too large, and there was a total lack of flavor going on in the soup. The crock was very large too. The burger and fries looked pretty good, and I enjoyed the flavors here. The fries were rough hewn, so there was good crispness from all the edges. The toppings of the burger, and the bun, were also hearty. Unfortunately, my medium rare burger was more like raw meat with surface browning. I'm a big fan of rare steak, but ground beef needs a little more cooking. Also, the house made ketchup is really more of a marinara sauce. If I'd ended up eating more of my plate before they took it away to re-fire the burger, I would have asked to replace the ketchup. The key lime Mason jar was e everything you want to wrap up a meal. Great flavor, lightness, citrus. I did have to bring most of it home but, unlike the burger they brought back in a box, I'm excited to get back into the key lime. From an accessibility stand point, there is no ramp to get in nor handicap parking, so the evidently don't want your business. Once you're in, there are some seats you could get in, but if this place were full it would be difficult to navigate for anyone. The bathroom is a single room, but very spacious and nice. So, mixed bag for access. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not racing to return.

The bench seating was very comfortable, though some of the tabletops were pretty tall and all wood, so maybe not the easiest to sit at for a while. The restaurant has an extensive menu, but when I saw the pitmaster section I knew I had to try some of that. As an appetizer there were potato skins with pulled pork. Wow, these are not the wizened, come from a frozen box, potato skins. These were large, brimming with flavor and cheese. From the pit was brisket and ribs. Each came with corn bread, one with fries, the other with mac and cheese. Corn bread, so good, nice grainy texture, not a baked sugar slurry like you can find elsewhere, up here in the north. The brisket is super tender, doesn't need much sauce because it's packing all that natural and smoke flavor. The ribs are not dainty. You're going to be getting in here with your hands, like proper ribs eating. I'm so unused to that, and it resulted in me bringing half the rack home because a half rack was so filling. The edges of the ribs were dry, but all the interior was pull apart tender and delectable. Again, only needing a touch of their homemade sauce. The fries were robust but still crispy and seasoned well. The mac was the only miss for me. Too toothsome and not much flavor. Because they also do wood fired pizza, I got a cheese with ricotta to go. I'm not sure I ever need their pizza again. The crust was thin but not very crispy except on the cornicione, which had a lot of herbs sprinkled on it. The sauce disappeared, flavor wise, and so did the cheese blend. Side notes - I know everything has gotten crazy expensive, but the prices here took me aback. $16 for three pieces of bacon? Also, the 10% military discount was only applied to my ribs, but nothing else, so I'm happy they have one but it may only be applied to your food and non alcoholic drinks on Tuesdays and Fridays during their specific windows.

I have to say it's a local watering hole but, it's quaint and comfortably laid out! The menu is Strong with a wonderful variety of dynamic offerings. I have to admit the Bean and Sausage and soup was spectacular( definitely a Fall/ Winter winner) the Drink: high end Single Malt Scotch was substantial pour( to say the least) and the Side Caesar salad was exceptional and ample size for what accompanied the dinner. That, was their 10 ounce tenderloin, perfect medium rare with a cognac cream sauce. Sides were, exceptional Rich mashed potatoes and the best way I've ever had brussels sprouts, which were mandolin sliced. That's my Review and Dana was an extremely pleasant and attentive to not only us but, to the all her other tables. There weren't really any titles that grabbed us though. My main critique is that it was pretty dusty... we looked at one of the lights and the cobwebs on it made it look like a Halloween decoration.
