The turkey Dinner!! Was delicious! The top things are called country egg rolls , I wasn't a big fan of those lol

When I tell you the food was good, it was really good! I got the Turkey Dinner and it was amazing!! Wings are to DIE for!! Our waiter seemed to not know how the ordering machine they have works. Other than that, a "mom and pop" type restaurant is what we needed!! The asparagus was a bit underdone, very chewy but good!!

Was an 8oz steak with fat and gross mashed potatoes

Me and my friend ate here for the first time, and both of us got the cow girl sirloin steak and smashed taters (thing it was smashed tater tots) gross gross gross! It was advertised as an 8 oz steak, more like 6oz and 2oz of fat, and the smashed tatters so mashed potatoes with way to much rosemary or pepper! I couldn't even finish my expensive meal, not worth the price, we got the same thing and both of us were not happy, never going back there again....

We went to visit our friends Gary & Lori to support their new venture in Sturbridge this past weekend. They've been open a little over a month and had a very steady flow of people coming in. We started with the wings, let me tell you about these wings they were absolutely delicious, we had Pickledilly & Nashville Hot. Of course, my favorite was the Pickledilly. Our lovely bartender/waitress Nichole whipped up a super tasty loaded, bloody mary. I'm pretty sure she broke the bloody mary record with how many she was pumping out, and it goes to show how good they are! Gary then brought us some haystack to try. They are slice jalapeños fried in a super tasty batter with ranch. I've never had anything like them. Some weren't hot, but every couple you'd get a seed, and it had a great kick but was balanced out with the batter and ranch. He also gave us a sample of the bologna sandwich, with the chunkiest piece of bologna and damn was it delicious! As we sat, I got parched and was able to taste a sample of the dust bowl and ordered a gold dust Martini, both tasted delicious. Full to the gills, I couldn't leave without getting some ranch beans and corn bread with honey butter to go. The ranch beans are an equal bean and ground beef ratio, amazing! The corn bread was soft and fluffy, add the honey butter... wow! I insist everyone takes a ride to Sturbridge to check out this hidden gem off of route 20 and the pike with a cowboy theme. You won't be disappointed.

    Steak had too much gristle

Service was good but food and drinks are a no. My sirloin steak had way too much gristle and my cocktail was way too small. I ordered "smashed taters" way too much ground pepper.

Lone Star and Spicy Watermelon Margarita

We visited Trail Dusters Tap and Table today. We're locals and based on everything we've heard to date about this place, we had high expectations and it did not disappoint! Drinks were quick and delicious; I had the spicy watermelon margarita (can't remember the official name). It was not too sweet, which I really appreciate because a lot of places will just do a marg with a premade mix and it's not nearly as good. I had the triple decker Rueben, which was excellent. I asked for extra sauce on the side (because I am someone that likes an excess of sauce) and they were happy to oblige! My husband had the chicken fried steak and said it was the best he's had (which is saying quite a lot, since we have spend a lot of time visiting Texas and the South). The staff was exceptionally pleasant. They engaged and checked in without being overly chatty. Overall, highly recommend and very excited to return and out the rest of the menu!

I went in tonight to check them out and I guess there has been a change in ownership, two of the Baba Sushi employees bought them out, or so I hear. I was pretty impressed with this place, the sushi is super fresh and really good. More impressive, on a Sunday night, were the crowds of Asian people enjoying their AYCE hot pot and sushi. You probably can't get near this place on a Friday or Saturday. Since I'm relatively new to sushi, I had *a few* questions, and my server Alexandra was amazing with all the questions even though she was super busy. I had the land and sea roll, and, while, not "technically" sushi, it was a delight--torched beef wrapped around shrimp tempura. Would be good for a person--and I know several--who absolutely won't eat raw fish. Had the tuna torch roll, also very good. She brought me the "house" soy sauce which is ten times better for sushi than regular soy sauce, much lighter and less salty. A lot of times I'm a bit skeeved out by the all you can eat concept, but they are making this stuff fresh as you order it. That other reviewer who said he prefers Hungry Bowl is out to lunch, sorry. The vibe and especially the service is much nicer here; it seems like people go to Hungry Bowl specifically to just pig out and not for the quality. Nothing against Hungry Bowl, but while we're comparing.... What I'd like to do is bring a big gang o' people here and try everything! But unfortunately I don't live around here. But I do come up here to square dance and I will be back to try more stuff.

However, after our experience this past Sunday, I am incredibly frustrated to say that we will not be returning. The issues began before we sat down. We attempted to order the Valentine's Special as advertised, only to be told it wasn't available. When another member of our party tried to order a luncheon item, we were told it wasn't served on Sundays--despite the menu giving no indication of such a restriction. The service and food quality only declined from there. We ordered a large clam strip dinner, a lobster scampi, and a sea scallop dinner. After an excessively long wait, the food finally arrived, but it was a mess. My "large" clam strip dinner was relatively small, and instead of the lobster scampi, we were brought a lobster mac and cheese. When I informed the waitress of the mistake, she took the mac and cheese back, but it took another five minutes just for her to return and officially put the "rush" order in for the scampi. By the time my wife's meal finally arrived, the rest of us were completely finished eating. To make matters worse, the scampi was a total letdown--I've never seen a scampi served with a cheese sauce and no tomatoes. It was so unappealing she couldn't even finish it. To top off a day of errors, the waitress approached us after we placed the corrected scampi order to tell us we owed more money because she had initially charged us for the wrong item. Being asked to pay an upcharge for a mistake made by staff, especially after the kitchen failed to have the meal ready with the rest of the table, is completely unacceptable. We have enjoyed coming here in the past, but after the lack of professionalism and poor food quality we've seen over our last few visits, we have lost our confidence in this restaurant.

The french fries hold their own too. The remodel is beautiful--bright, clean, and the boat-inspired bar adds a fun touch. Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side, but it's seafood done right, and everything I've tried has been well worth it. Bonus: their ice cream menu is massive and consistently delicious. A real gem for casual coastal fare inland.

After waiting about 20 minutes, we were finally seated. Despite that rocky start, the food was so outstanding that we ended up coming back every single day during our stay in Salem. The biggest inconsistency was the service. Out of the four days we visited, only one day stood out as having exceptional service. Most of the time we had to flag someone down for drink refills, order more oysters, ask for Parmesan cheese, or even leave our credit card hanging off the edge of the table before someone would notice we were ready to pay. Now, onto the food because that's what kept bringing us back. The clam chowder and lobster bisque were the true stars of the menu. These are the kinds of soups you'll still be thinking about long after your vacation is over. The lobster bisque was unbelievably rich, creamy, and packed with generous pieces of lobster. The clam chowder had the perfect consistency and, unlike so many others, was loaded with tender clams instead of mostly potatoes. The one-and-a-half-pound lobster was sweet, tender, and practically melted in my mouth. I wasn't in love with my pasta dish. The scallops, however, completely stole the show. They tasted as though they had been pulled from the ocean just moments before being cooked perfectly fresh, sweet, and delicate. Unfortunately, the pasta itself was undercooked and lacked flavor, even after the Parmesan cheese finally arrived. The strawberry shortcake was the perfect dessert on a hot Fourth of July afternoon. It was light, fresh, and exactly what we wanted to finish the meal. And the oysters? Absolutely phenomenal. Every single day. They were consistently fresh, delicious, and one of the main reasons we kept coming back. While the service has plenty of room for improvement, the kitchen is doing something truly special. The quality of the seafood alone was enough to make us return day after day, and that's about the highest compliment I can give a restaurant.

Like American Chinese food, the best years are behind us with this place. The service was super friendly and attentive, at least. I started off with a pu pu platter, for no other reason than it's been a long time. The experience is just a fun as I remember, and actually all the appetizers on the platter were great, with the exception of the crab rangoons which are the, now typical, all cream cheese and no other flavor variety. Also ordered was a rice plate with more of the same appetizers, pork lo mein, chicken mei fun, and scallion pancakes. The mei fun was the best thing we got all day. It was cooked just right, tasted fine, had a little slip to the noodles without being greasy. The lo mein was too heavy on the propane, so the wok hei was thrown off. The scallion pancakes lacked flavor, e even with the ginger sauce, and the texture was too dense. I've driven past here on trips to Old Sturbridge Village in the past, came here just for the restaurant today, and now will have to resume driving by it in the future.
