Absolutely Disgusted - Sewage on My Belongings and No Resolution Upon checking in, my husband used the shower, only to find it clogged, flooding the bathroom. We called the front desk, and maintenance arrived. The worker did his job, told us "all done," and left. When we re-entered the bathroom, we were horrified. The maintenance worker had apparently rinsed his tools in the sink, splashing sewage water all over the counter and, worst of all, directly into my open makeup bag (shown in the picture). The contents were contaminated. It was unsanitary, disrespectful, and utterly disgusting. I complained immediately. The front desk agent, while apologetic, oddly defended the worker by saying he was "from a different department." She offered to waive the resort fee and upgrade our room, stating it was the best she could do. While the upgraded room was nice, it doesn't replace expensive, personal items ruined by sewage. How could anyone think it's acceptable to rinse tools in a guest's sink next to their belongings? I was willing to leave it at that, assuming the staff had done their best. However, after checkout, I discovered you charged my card $90 for the very resort fees and late checkout that were promised as complimentary. I never received an email receipt as claimed. My multiple calls to resolve this have gone completely unanswered. So, to summarize: · Sewage-splashed personal property with no real resolution. · A broken financial promise, resulting in unauthorized charges. · Zero accountability or follow-up when trying to resolve it. This is unacceptable. The incident itself was a gross failure in staff training and respect for guest property. The billing issue and lack of communication afterward show a complete breakdown in customer care. I am beyond disappointed and would never recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

I've stayed here a few times over the years. Yet still hadn't posted a review. Caesars Palace sits in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. Right off the freeway on the Flamingo exit. It's been attached to great events like Evil Knievel motorcycle jump, Wrestlemania and the comedy movie The Hangover. It hosts the cirque type show, Absinthe outside its lobby area in a circus tent. Over the years, much like many other casinos, Caesars has had countless changes of restaurants, clubs, etc over the years. The floorplan for the casino has stayed virtually the same for over a decade or so now. They offer a wide variety of dining options in the casino. The Forum Shoppes which are connected to Caesars also offers a wide variety of food options. Including shops to spend your winnings at. The parking garage is a maze. You find your parking spot the old-fashioned way by looking. I believe this is at all Caesars properties. They don't have the green or red-light feature to make finding a parking spot easier. The ticket readers are very hit or miss. Exiting was a struggle every time I made an attempt to leave. Almost each exit I had to contact someone to open the gate for me because the scanner couldn't scan. Caesars has a 13th floor. My buddy ended up on the 13th floor. Caesars offers a variety of sized rooms. I had a traditional room much like my buddy. Couple issues with the room for me. They have a photo of the head of the statue looking at you in the mirror if you're sitting on the toilet or at you if you're standing at the toilet. Not my cup of time to be looked at even if it is a picture. The other thing was while fumbling around with the sheets to get comfy I noticed that the mattress had stain. A giant one! The stain extended to about halfway down the side of the mattress. I discovered this on my final night. Otherwise, I would've asked for another room. Thankfully there was a topper that separated me from it all. Slots in the casino feel VERY tight. Using my players card and without it made no difference. Less kicks for the input. I didn't see anyone winning anything large of over $1200 unless it was of higher denomination. Usually there's one or two people hooting and hollering at a penny slot. Nope. Not in the 5 days I was there. I'd go to another casino, and it was almost the polar opposite. The internet was chopping for me. There were times I could connect easy. And times I couldn't. I have AT&T. I didn't inquire why I was on the struggle bus with this sometimes. The handful of casino staff I interacted with felt like I was bothering them by asking about where something was. I understand this person has a job to do but at that moment, I am a guest in need of some assistance. I shouldn't feel as if I am limited to who I can ask when I'm lost. Smiles go a long way. Caesars is now one of the last of the latest casinos to carry the torch of the past. With the numerous visits to it over the years, it feels like it needs a refresh. What that is, I don't know. And no, the real Julius Caesar did not live here. read more

Together, I think Bellagio and Caesars Palace can be considered the heart or capital of The Strip. They have an historical legacy now that will carry on their popularity indefinitely. That said, I think the experiences in Caesars are generally very expensive, which The Strip is notorious or infamous for, in general. I came here for a brief visit on a Sunday night for a bite to eat. I was disappointed in MokBar, but impressed by Dominique Ansel. I have reviewed these two businesses separately. One practice that I'm not a fan of is the upfront request for at tip by the POS terminal at a cash register. You wait in line, the cashier takes your order, then the payment machine asks how much you want to tip, before you've even received any food or service. Meanwhile the cashier is looking over you, which pressures you to declare a tip amount. You're afraid not to, lest there is a reduction to your portion size or service. When you walk into a McDonald's, for example, and place an order, there is no upfront expectation to tip the cashier for simply taking your order. However, in a casino property like Caesars, it is the norm for walk-up eateries. So much so, that it is regarded by cashiers as an entitlement. If there is table service, then that's a different story. But if I'm ordering and picking up at the counter, then bussing my own table, a tip shouldn't be expected before the fact, if at all. Just because I don't tip a cashier at the point of sale, doesn't mean I won't tip cash after receiving and finishing my meal, along with any associated service which adds value to the experience. When ordering a drink at the bar, for example, it's customary to tip after receiving the drinks that you paid for. I think tips should be earned and received AFTER the fact, not the other way around. I also didn't know I was supposed to get free parking, Sunday through Thursday, and a 25% discount as a Nevada resident, as part of the Caesars Entertainment for locals, from September 21 through October 31, 2025. read more

What a disappointment after having stayed here SO many times in the past. The absolute disdain management seems to have for their guests! Check in took 40 minutes AFTER waiting 15 minutes for the two guests ahead of us to get an available check in representative..understandable as there were only 3 reps at a counter that is designed to support 15+ agents. When our turn came, we were handed 2 small bottles of water and given a high floor room as requested and told we were lucky to have a room with a couch in it. Ok? This is when disappointment began to rain down... The ottoman in front of the couch had large visible stains of what appeared to be...let's say "joy" on it. So, we weren't using any part of it. Furthermore, Caesars believes your patronage should be rewarded with a litany of nickel & diming their guests. They supply a Keurig coffee maker, but we saw no coffee K cups, creamer, sugar etc. or water. We assumed it was a housekeeper's mishap. We asked a housekeeper if we could have some water and coffee/creamer/sugar? He walked us back into the room and pointed to boxes that contained coffee necessities & pointed to water. The Fiji bottled water is $13.99 & the "coffee kit" (standard pods, creamer, sweeteners & stirrers) is $22.99! That's about $37 for two lousy cups of coffee!!! Thanks so much for staying with us! The Red Roof Inn & lesser properties simply give you coffee & water as a token of gratitude for choosing them. Caesar's just finds it an excuse to absolutely GUT their guests. After visiting this property over a half dozen times (the prior visit over 10 years ago) I'm done. I guess I don't represent the kind of guest (aka fool) they prefer. I'm hopeful they can use some of their phone charging kit (50.95) or Sex Kit ($69.95) profits to have a steam cleaner visit that couch & ottoman!!! My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Caesars Palace on our vacation. Definitely very aesthetically beautiful in the lobby, around the hotel, in the shops area, etc. Plenty of things to do here from a variety of eateries / dining, shopping, casinos, etc. that are both inside and outside on the strip (with many places that are open 24 hours as well). Our room was nice with a beautiful view of the strip and the waterfront of the Fountains of Bellagio (especially at night with all the lights and such). The bathroom was nice as well. The toilet is separated by a separate door, it came with double sinks - very convenient, and there was both a bathtub and shower (we only used the shower - the water pressure is strong and the water gets warm quickly, so it was very relaxing and soothing after a long day of being out and about). We wished that there was a fridge though, that would had made it a bit more convenient - there is one filled with their own beverages and such (do not move it, or you would be charged and same goes for the snacks and such on the counter in front of the TV - not the most convenient placement for guests, but a strategic one for the hotel). We had to check out the gym and pool as well. The gym - we just walked around to check it out because we did not have any shoes to work out in (which is a requirement for safety reasons I would assume). The pool - it was so crowded in and around the pool all day (probably because they close by 6 pm I believe) and it was over 100 degrees outside, super hot with not much shade, and difficult to have space to swim. read more

Had an amazing time at this Hotel. My 1st time in Vegas and they made it worth the trip. staff was pleasant - helpful when I couldn't find certain areas or stores. Ac didnt work, no disposable cups, no coffee maker, mini bar isn't stocked, no nightstand phone charger. Had to call for everything. Room card didnt work at the parking lot exit and had to redo at the front desk. Asked for connecting rooms ahead of time and showed up to rooms on the opposite ends of the tower. Thought the Augustus tower would have better furnishings, disappointed as they show many ware and tear. The worst is even after explaining to front desk and house keeping about getting some things that other rooms have nothing came. This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. We all paid our money in full months in advance for three rooms. We arrive to check in, and they tell us that they've overbooked and there's no rooms left. We were at the front desk for two hours waiting for them to figure something out. They "find" three rooms for us. The bathroom is nice, but poorly done. The shower pressure is super low and takes up to 15 minutes to warm up, and it leaks water as you're using it so it gets all over the floor all the way to the toilet. It doesn't come with a fridge or microwave. You have to request a fridge, which is possibly unavailable because there's a limited number, and you have to pay for it. For the WiFi, the room allows 2 devices to connect per room. After that, you pay $14.99 for each additional use. The blankets and pillows smelled old and dirty. The people were rude everywhere you went. I will never come here again. read more

Upon our arrival, we were looked down on by the front desk. It's odd that while we were waiting in line we would see the gentlemen greet guests and give them free bottles of water. But we get there, I see his eyes run down my outfit and the look of disgust flashes across his face. Was it my tattoos? Nonetheless I was polite which was more than he was. He got upset that I declined the upgrade for my room. We never received our complimentary waters that he was giving out. Also, for a place so classy, is also very cheap and expensive in every way. Can we use the mini fridge to store our drinks or food? Sure, but you'll be charged for it. Wanna use there coffee machine that's in the your room? You'll be charged. I was happy that we got such a good deal that included a $100 food credit. Except that the cheapest meal there is $70 and higher. That barely covers one person, what about the other person? No thanks, I'll stick to my snacks. We ended up leaving the next day after seeing Kelly Clarkson. Her concert was phenomenal! But be cautious, if you have curves, expect to be standing for the concert as the seats are not curvy friendly. I had to sit on the edge of my seat, it was the only way. I will most likely never stay at Caesar's Palace again. I was very disappointed in the room. I had a terrible mattress and I asked that the mattress be switched out. I clearly identified which mattress. When I left the room in return they switched out the wrong mattress and left all the bedding on the dresser. My room was not clean. I was gone for four hours. But when I returned my room was still not clean. I have to say the check-in representative was very very pleasant so I have no complaints with that. Also, these rooms all need to be remodelled some type of update. The room was large but it was the furniture was very tattered. Many of the bars and restaurants in the casino where individually owns so you could not have your tab put on your room. This was a problem because I was here for a conference. Caesar's is a classic. One of the originals from time passed long ago. For some perspective, the movie, History of the World Part I debuted in 1981 and referenced Caesar's Palace in one of the scenes. That was more than 43 years ago and if you didn't know Caesar's opened on August 5,1966. 58 years ago. While it's been updated many times, it's still a wonder to see and if you're wondering, it's still pager friendly. LOL I've stayed here about a dozen times over the course of several years and I still get blown away each time. The service has always been fantastic but it does help to have status as a Caesars Reward member. If you can sign up, I would recommend it. Here are some tips and tricks. Julius Tower is my preferred tower Peter Lugars if you're a steak lover can't be missed. Vanderpump, True Foods Kitchen, SOL and Forum shops are just some of the recommended locations to check out My only criticism is the lack of fresh air circulation in most of the casino floors. Other casinos seem to be able to pump fresh air and remove the smoke more efficiently. Paris was my go to stay followed by Cosmo but Caesar's is my top go to with Cosmo a close 2nd. read more

We were escorted to the diamond check in line since the general line was so long. We asked if we could upgrade our room (since it was an option right when we checked in) but the woman very shortly said that they were 100% booked. Confused, we went back to the general line and we were able to upgrade our room for a fee as originally told. I'm not sure why the other woman was so rude and wouldn't want to increase business. Francisco at the outside pool bar must be sexist. He refused to take my ID at the bar if it was electronic, HOWEVER, he was happy to take my male friends ID electronically with no questions asked. I understand the legality of it, but taking it for the male but not the female is crazy. read more

My room in Caesar's was pretty sad. To begin my stay, I was told at check-in that my room was ready but I would have to pay $35 to access it early since it was only 1 pm. No thank you. Did they tell me l could wait at the pool? Nope. So l got back in the check-in line to ask if I could use the pool facility while I waited, and yes l actually could, so they gave me a key card. The pool was windy that day. There were lifeguards on duty, and a person came to give out free popsicles, but I didn't see any pool attendants while I was there for 2 hours. So there were dirty towels on almost every chair that people left behind. When we got to the room, we found that the no view was actually a room right in front of the ventilation system. They should really discount this type of room A LOT. There was a huge stain on the rug next to the bed (see photo), the wood on all the cabinets was chipped off at the edges of the dresser and in the bathroom. The weather stripping under the door was broken off, and the air and noise from the hallway flowed in freely. When I told the front desk of this at check-out, the employee said, "Well, the Julius building is the oldest building in the complex." A room in the oldest building was $300 plus the resort fee for a Friday night in October. I think management can take 5 minutes to at least fix the weather stripping under the door. I was not offered any compensation for the poor room conditions, but I did ask for the resort fee to be waived, and the front desk employee agreed to do this. He wasn't friendly at all though. No apology for the state of the room. Just excuses. Actually none of the employees we encountered at Caesar's seemed happy and friendly. We stayed one night there bc we were attending the Rod Stewart concert, which was excellent. They wanted $20 to $23 for a 6 oz glass of wine at the concert, depending on the brand you selected. We stayed at the Venetian the night before, and it was quite lovely there. I would not recommend Caesar's. I will not stay there again. read more

August 2025 visit really changed my view of this place for the worse. They've gone downhill. First off, we reserved a king room and arrived at check in time and they had no king rooms for us. Came here for our anniversary and was very disappointed that they had not actually reserved a king room for us. What is the point of reserving a room when the hotel does not actually reserve that room for you? When we asked they did not offer anything to us as well for our inconvenience but rather offered an upcharge to get a king room in a different tower. Very poor customer service. The room itself had a terrible view as well of a commercial roof. The room furnishings were old and worn. The air conditioning was very loud and would kick on to very loud or completely off. It did not have a smooth low fan operation. You could definitely hear it every time it kicked on making it harder to sleep. We played slots for a couple of hours and did not get any drink service . This hotel is too crowded with not enough servers especially on conference days. The hotel wifi is slower than your cellular service. I do work on my computer and this was a huge letdown. On top of that, the wifi connection blocked me every morning. I had to call their wifi service and talk to someone every morning to register my device again and again. Would not come back. It's a shame because the hotel was nicer a few years ago I remembered. There are way better hotels on the strip to choose from. read more

It was just average and did not measure up to the Venetian for example. It was a long walk from the parking to our room and the staff was not too help either. Overall, just an average overpriced casino. Prepare to pay almost $10 for a medium coffee at the Starbucks located inside. The food court has a few options and it is open late. However, it is not the cleanest. I wouldn't stay there again. Only reason for choosing this place is because we went to see Kelly Clarkson. read more

So this was a return trip for the 4th of July holiday. And wow, so much better! First off, fireworks at Caesar's is awesome! You can view from anywhere but the fact that you can go down from your hotel room and just walk outside is extremely convenient. A great view and perfect spot! You could also view from the pool are but I'm not sure if you pay for that. Our hotel room had plenty of space. This should be a given but I was very pleased that all the furniture was clean. And the view of pool? Beautiful. Toilet room door works and is easy to use. We were right next to the ice machine which was a big advantage since you can't use the mini fridge for personal use. Something to note though. The complimentary internet is available for 2 devices but just those 2 for the rest of your stay. I think you probably have to contact front desk if you want to update what devices use the internet. We didn't try but so I'm not sure. The internet was good though, but that might be a hassle if you have to constantly switch internet to more than 2 devices. read more

After staying at almost all the other hotels in Vegas I was excited to finally try Caesars Palace out. We booked our stay for 3 nights and when we arrived Sunday afternoon to check our two rooms in we were only supposed to be charged $175 for each room but we were charged $200 for each room. Apart from this, the two rooms were on separate floors despite the fact that they were paid for same at the same time. Same transaction areservation. Every time we got in bed I felt itchy and upon further inspection there was a lot of little pieces of trash on it as if the bedding had been dragged in a dirty room. Also, my partner stepped on something sharp in the carpet that gave him a cut on his big toe which made walking really uncomfortable. There weren't any trash bags in the trash cans for us to dispose of any trash we had so we had trash laying around the room for most of our stay. On Monday we were abruptly awakened to the sound of an alarm that went off about 6 times while we were trying to sleep. We called the front desk to find out what it was and they just let us know they conduct these alarm tests every Monday but we were never informed about this because if we knew we wouldn't have stayed at this hotel. We also didn't have enough towels on our second night so we requested for more along with some trash bags. They were brought to us 15 minutes after requesting them but when we came back after our night out they were gone. The other room where a couple of our friends were staying in didn't have their room cleaned until the second night. They also didn't have enough towels either and had to request for more. Down at the food court we ordered at Bobby's burgers and we asked for two curtesy cups of water and we were told that they don't have water. read more

For someone who grew up watching world championship fight after fight in boxing at Caesars on TV, to actually walk inside the casino and resort was cool. Like many of the famed casino and resorts on the Strip, Caesars has ensured and sustained its position as one of the premier ones due to ownership's ability to update and ensure the amenities and activities as well as shopping and restaurants reflect the changing demands and interests of tourists and travelers and gamblers year after year, decade after decade. Given that i stayed down the street from Caesar's, outside of the exterior design and historic mystique that channels the resort and brand, you can find similar shops and restaurants at nearby luxury locations. But there is an appeal to Caesars and its updated interior and layout continue to make it an appealing place to visit while in Vegas on the Strip. read more

The "experience" is not even close to being worth the price tag. For hundreds of dollars a night, you don't even get a mini fridge. Instead, they put in a useless pay bar fridge. It has been ages since I visited Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. This is where I ended up, since I still had a few hours to kill before my flight back to the SFV. Entering the colossal inside lobbies and walking through the Forum Shops, I found myself captivated by the sets, numerous statues and sculptures. There are several celebrity chef restaurants and if you brought all your credit cards, almost every celebrated high end designer has a store here. There is a feeling of grandeur, as you walk along this mix of lights, expensive goods and historic Roman structures. I stopped by Joe's, the well known outpost for steaks, sea food and stone crab. Their menu was enticing, but since I had brunch just a few hours ago, could not work up an appetite. Instead, only a beverage. This is our first time staying at Octavius Tower and we definitely prefer this side than the Augustus Tower. Upon entering the room, you can tell the room is more spacious than our previous Augustus Tower room. It's also brighter with larger windows. The pool access from Octavius Tower is very convenient and such close proximity to the elevators and pool entrance. However, we noticed the bathroom lacked toiletries like soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and Kleenex tissue. The housekeeper next door was kind enough to give us towels, Kleenex tissue and toiletries that are normally provided for in Las Vegas hotels rooms. There was a line for the elevators from the parking to the casino. 3 elevators weren't working. Also the guest parking location is a walk from the casino to the hotel lobby check in. This was one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing dining experiences I've had in Las Vegas. Right from the start, the front receptionist, Griselda, was extremely unprofessional. Her tone and behavior toward us felt noticeably different compared to how other customers were treated. Whether intentional or not, it came across as discriminatory, and it left a very bad first impression that set the tone for the entire visit. She was also unreasonably strict about enforcing reservation timing, refusing to let people in even when the restaurant was clearly empty. Normally I'd understand strict policies if the place were packed or food quality justified it--but that wasn't the case here. Once inside, it became obvious why they might want to limit guests. The food was subpar, poorly seasoned, and absolutely not worth the price. For a buffet carrying the Caesars name, the quality felt shockingly low and overpriced. What made it worse was the overall vibe from the front desk: it genuinely felt like we weren't welcome, like they'd rather you leave than dine there. There was zero warmth, zero customer service, and the attitude felt dismissive--as if helping guests was an inconvenience and scrolling on a phone was the priority. Between the poor service and the disappointing food, this buffet is nowhere near worth the cost. There are far better places in Vegas where you'll actually feel welcomed and get food that matches the price. I won't be returning. read more

such a beautiful hotel, when i think of vegas i think of caesar's palace. the room was super clean, but our towels weren't replaced upon request. the check in process was a bit messy because of a miscommunication with our booking, but the staff were friendly and helpful in helping us get this resolved. read more
