Let me start with saying that you need to call to make reservations; however, this is done so you can have a pleasant time without being rushed. The ambience was very good and staff were very attentive. Food was also very good. Will come back again.

Stopped in for Sunday brunch, after having tried this restaurant for dinner just the Friday before. There are no bad choices on any of their menus - I would try everything if I could! The staff were all fantastic and the service was well above average. Loved the ambiance of a repurposed pharmacy into a fine dining experience. Will definitely visit again!

A delicious dinner!!! Great for celebrating, dinner with family and friends, and wine. The cocktails were not that great tbh. Our server was attentive and helpful when it came to the menu. Some of the items were not available when we went, but everything we got was great!!

By far my favorite restaurant in downtown opelika. I love the French onion chicken and the desert are to die for.

We love coming here!! The downtown location is great and in walking distance to other bars and restaurants. The food is always so delicious, as are the drinks. The fried chicken skins are a must try if you like pork rinds. I also love their bread pudding for dessert! Good wine list and a more upscale vibe than some restaurants close by. We Always look forward to coming here when we are in town.

We came Valentine's Day weekend from Columbus, GA after attending mass. He really wanted to take me here and I'm so glad he did. We had the bread and butter which was to die for! I think they gave us too much butter over bread ratio, but l'm not complaining haha. So warm, soft, fluffy and delish the bread was. I don't think we talked much when we had our wagyu steak main course cause it was so good, we couldn't say a word to each other. The pepper sauce with the perfectly cooked medium rare steak (which came cut in two pieces, which is a really genius move to serve steak by the way), with white asparagus, caramelized onion, rose petals, and just pure deliciousness. Literally chef's kiss. We also couldn't make up our mind about desserts cause they had a Valentine's dessert menu and the couple sitting next to us also recommended the cookies and milk. Yeah- I'm really lucky and very spoiled. Definitely hit a sugar high, but absolutely worth it. Servers and greeters were also all so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend :) I think this is the nicest dinner anyone has ever treated me to. Thanks for my amazing boyfriend- I'm so grateful.

Let me start by saying the building is beautiful and the atmosphere feels like a nice restaurant. Also, the cocktail menu was definitely curated by someone who knows what they are doing. The appetizer Barrotta cheese was the best part of the evening. With that being said, the entrees were lackluster and small. Our food came out lukewarm at best and honestly seemed like not a lot of thought went into them. I know that this restaurant is supposed to be upscale, but I don't think I should pay 55$ per persons meal and still leave hungry. Also, the staff needs training. The whole time it felt like they were concerned with fast turn over and nothing else. Part of upscale dining is that the price of food and quality of service is more important than turn over time. Generally speaking I will not be back to eat here again.

It is definitely on my Alabama "must-visit" list. I am from out of town, but I came looking for a workspace and wanted to grab lunch while I was there. I came around 1 PM and there was a 30 minute wait for 2 for lunch, but have no fear. We just went upstairs to the martini bar and were able to wait and work. We were seated in the garden for lunch, which are mostly cute high tops. Before we even began our meal, a fat adorable white rabbit crossed our path. Then an equally beautiful black rabbit crossed our path. I had no idea there was wildlife just prancing around and I was giddier than a little kid. (There are also ducks and geese who run around!). Now to the food: Had to get the smash burger because it was award winning and boy it did not disappoint! The depth of flavor and the juiciness of the patties were impeccable. I opted for guda cheese instead of cheddar, and I added grilled onions, and this was an excellent choice. The fries are super crispy and the comeback sauce is perfect for dipping . Don't judge us, but we also shared some desserts. The standout was the white chocolate cheesecake, which was sweet but not super indulgent. I would definitely skip the crepe next time. The description made it sound delicious. But overall, it was lacking in a flavor. It was by far the most disappointing dish of the day. Even though it takes a while for food to come out service is impeccable, and the servers are just so lovely, so be patient. I will definitely make the Botanic my go-to establishment when I'm in town!

Dining is an experience and my hobby my husband says. We indulge most nights in many great restaurants all around us or when we frequently travel. I want to start by saying my friend chose this space well! Though it was about a 40 minute drive from their house it was worth it. The venue, grounds, market, dining areas, etc. are all truly a delight. I cannot believe a place like this exists in this area. We started with adult beverages and the amazing complimentary bread with an assortment of butter options. For appetizers, we ordered the pimento cheese and corn ribs (forgot to photograph). Both were delicious! For entrees, the ladies had the pasta dish with my friend adding the shrimp. I am a vegetarian so I did it without any protein. It was very good. The men had the filets with the sides and found them to be cooked properly. The pros were as follows: Beautiful venue/spaces Delicious food The market had some nice shopping gifts to pick up for souvenirs and pastries for breakfast the next morning The cons: We were supposed to be at an inside table and they said that was not the case once we arrived and it was way too hot outside and the flies were terrible. I felt as if they should have accommodated us as we still waited 30 minutes to be seated despite her making reservations weeks ago. That really put a damper on the experience. Their corkage fee to bring your own wine is $40 per bottle. I take my own wine to every restaurant I go to and have never paid $40 even at much higher end places. The waitress was nice but loud and forgetful. We asked for things multiple times and never did get some of the requested things. They do offer lunch and dinner and the menus are a bit different. They focus on fresh produce from local farmers and some they grow there. If you are within a 30 minute drive, I would suggest going as there is not much in that area that compares according to our friends. There are multiple dining spaces so make sure you choose where you want to dine and confirm that. There are multiple bar options as well.

First, our server introduced herself and explained the buffet menu, which I appreciate. She was very attentive, and I think she refilled my drink a total of three times during my meal. The food options at the buffet were great. The biscuit bar offering sausage gravy, tomato gravy, and shrimp étouffée as a topping was phenomenal. I sampled the étouffée and sausage gravy, and the homemade biscuits all were really good. On the second morning that I went down for breakfast, not nearly as good of an experience. The young lady who is our server, just didn't seem like she wanted to be there, polar opposite from the previous day. Our table wasn't stocked with sugar only had a pepper shaker had to ask for both. Somehow the same hot gravy that I had enjoyed the day before were luke warm some reason, maybe just caught it at a bad time. I didn't have more fruit options out on morning too, which I did appreciate as well. I think the poor service just soured the experience. The third morning I went down for breakfast, there was a long line waiting to be seated. And the person that appeared to be seating people as the hostess, was the same server from the day before. I came back about 30 minutes later, and there was still a line so I decided to skip breakfast. I will definitely give this one another shot, when we return to Auburn for leisure based on that first Days experience and re-rate if warranted.

I really wasn't going to mention anything. However, upon tasting the to-go sweet tea I asked for…read morethat ended up not being sweet, was the last straw (which we had to ask for too). According to the receipt the last name is Hodges who was our server. I had high hopes, but it ended up being a very horrible experience. We had a table of 6, with a high chair requested which they couldn't (and didn't try to ) accommodate. That's fine we looked past that. Next, was no happy greeting, just basically an asking of our order of drinks. Drinks were delivered and with it being Father's Day we know the wait is extra long with things. However when other tables are getting rolls and you are still sitting empty, to me it speaks of the priority that your waiter or waitress makes concerning your table. I have been a waiter so I know about prioritizing your customers. So when we asked for rolls, our server stated I will try to get some but none are out. When I look at the station, I see plenty of rolls out and her just not going to get them. Then a manager comes to greet us. Nice fellow. He ask if there is anything we need to let him know. We told him some rolls would be nice, ......and we never seen him again. So upon asking our waitress again, I guess seeing our frustration she went and got some easy. So the food was brought out and tasted good and correct. The waitress is then never seen again till she is ready to see how to split the tickets. By this time my wife has hopped up herself and got us to go boxes, we had to ask another waiter for some items and everyone had empty drinks wanting refills and ....some more rolls. So upon her coming to split tickets and give us that, we asked her for more rolls and refills. I asked her for a refill of sweet tea which I had been waiting for a while and more rolls. She brings back what I thought was sweet tea and tells us no rolls are available. We finally decide to just go with my wife apologizing to me cause she wanted my Father's Day to be a better experience. Upon leaving we get to where they set out the rolls and it's like 4 baskets just sitting there. I ask a different manager because we never seen the guy manager again, can I have some rolls because I asked for some but our waitress never delivered any. This manager gave me some right away. Great. So leaving at least happy about that, then I went to taste my to go sweet tea which wasn't sweet on the way home and was seriously disappointed again! I don't like to complain because I know being a waitress or waiter does take a lot in giving good service, but this lady either needs tables of just 2 peopke or a different job or position, or retraining. My mom was even going to make a to go order but was told if she placed it she would have to wait a while. My mom was thinking well had she as our waitress came to our table earlier to check on us she could have placed it earlier and it would have been ready by the time we left. Just a bad, bad experience. I almost, besides the good food and my friends and family, wish we had went somewhere else. I WILL NOT have her as a server again, if and when I go back. Disappointed and the experience was disappointing. Very disappointing. I could say more (table not wiped before being seated, our waitress checking other tables but not ours...etc.) but I think anyone reading will understand. Let me go and throw away this unsweetened tea.
