This was a decent place to eat and the Graduate hotel is amazing but one disappointed was the fried chicken sandwich. It comes with 2 chicken tenders in the sandwich and fries for a few bucks more then double the chicken tenders and fries for less money- seems like a way to take advantage through menu pricing. I honestly thought with the "owners" using the name that it would be a throw back to good times at The Eagle-Pizza, beer, good music and just a fun place. Maybe there's no such thing anymore. It's an often known reality of life that restaurants with a view are rarely amazing. And while War Eagle Supper Club is not a bad restaurant, it sadly does not depart from that all too common trend. War Eagle Supper Club, along with the gorgeous Graduate Hotel, opened in late 2024 and design wise is the kind of place that Auburn needed for a long time. Beautiful views above the campus, with the tower of Sanford Hall visible a short distance away. If that's not enough, the design is breathtaking. Auburn thematics and colors are used in a contemporary design which is not only beautiful, but truly one of a kind, clearly distinguishable from any other rooftop bar in the world. And, that is very cool. People working here are incredible. Mostly students. Attentive and well trained, the management of the hotel assembled a great team. The food is where the supper club does a decent job, but lacks refinement. The burger, while tasty itself, came out with a wilted and browned salad. The chips with guacamole are very stale. The guacamole itself has a solid piece of the stem element, which could easily break a tooth. The best dish was the fish and lemon potatoes. Meatballs are enjoyable also. Thus, food is the main thing that needs work at War Eagle Supper Club. The wine selection is reasonable for an establishment in a college town, with some well selected bottles priced mostly at a reasonable x2 up charge to retail. Is War Eagle Supper Club welcomed in Auburn? It truly is. Yet, some refinement on the food preparation is needed. read more

This is actually a review of the restaurant on top, War Eagle Supper Club. The atmosphere and views were top notch and the service was excellent. Menu was very limited and food wasn't great. I had the chicken sandwich and the fried chicken really left something to be desired. The sandwich itself didn't have much to it. They have only been open two months and they are definitely still figuring things out. They also had no kids menu and very limited offerings for small kids, I had a 2yo. The Auburn feel was awesome though. They had a big eagles next for the photo op, which was very creative. I'd say give it a few more months and then give it a try. Seldom do I write reviews on restaurants but I am so deeply disappointed in my first meal in Alabama. I ordered the pizza and i'm not confident each slice came from the same pizza (the slices don't line up even if you squint your eyes and tilt your head). The pizza was beyond burnt and dry and appeared to be reheated. The best way I can describe it is that it had me feeling like I was eating people's left over pizza that was reheated and thrown into a box. Busy Friday night. Great hostess that took our name & waited less time then expected. Beautiful roof top dining. Our server was nice. The menu is limited. Burgers, ribs, club sandwich fries. Some salads & apps. We tried the chix sand. Ribs & club. Waited a bit for cocktail. It was not stirred & aperol on top. That's ok.the food is average. It was game day menu. The rooftop views of Auburn made the evening even better, especially as the sun set across town. As I was seated I heard 3 employees talking about how slow it was tonight and it was, nearly all the tables were empty but I did see at least 4 servers. As I sat down another table approached the hostess to tell her that they needed attention and their service had been lacking. The restaurant was beautiful... so well done. Great atmosphere. Our server was wonderful. The food, however, was subpar!!! Shrimp and grits were cold and awful. We sent them back. Came to visit from out of town, our friend from Auburn highly recommended war eagle roof top bar the service and ambience was top tier, our server Caden ( request him) made the experience even better. He was very attentive and friendly brought out our food and drinks quickly. Bartender Micheal also is great - his drinks are consistent has a Gr8 smile and a pretty good stache. The manager Ada is a sweetheart and Paul is a superhero- he saved my friend from a flying menu as a storm was brewing in during our visit. 10/10 recommend. read more

The manager's interactions with our group was unacceptable at the War Eagle Supper Club. As a group of adults in our 60's, we where told on several occasions, you Need to be in your seat when bringing a drink, you can't do this, you Need to move. Unbelievable There is a hospitality program at auburn which might help if he wants to continue in this position. read more

awesome views, bad service. sad actually. frequented the real supper club when these kids were watching sponge bob. very disappointing. sat at an unreserved table with 8 people. ready to spend $hundreday, and were asked to leave, because Eli had other plans, even when a table of equal size and vacancy sat empty. pretty silly actually. as a solid Hilton Honors member, and as an employee of a huuuge SEC sponsor bank, it was a gut punch. oh well. it's a cool spot for AU, but they need to appreciate the paying clientele a bit more. leaving $ on the table. or the empty table. read more

This is a review of the rooftop restaurant which is a joke. We have tried to eat at the Supper Club unsuccessfully a couple of times before but decided to give it another try. We put our name on the list and were told it would be an hour and 15 minute wait. We went downstairs to wait until we were called. After waiting that time we went up to the hostess and were told it would be another 30 minutes. We decided to sit nearby and wait until our table was ready. Our oldest is handicapped and in a wheelchair so it was a challenge to get him in the elevator with so many people. As we were waiting nearby, we overheard the manager and the hostess whispering that the restaurant had run out of food. Keep in mind that it was only 7:30pm at this point. They did not relay this information to us and we went up to ask. We were told that in fact they had run out of food. I guess they were going to just let us sit there and not let us know. This is the third time we have tried to eat here. The other two times we were told they were at capacity and they could not accommodate us. As a couple of Auburn graduates, this is just so disappointing. We would love to be able to bring our family to local places like this to enjoy. We do not expect any special treatment but after trying this place 3 times we will not be back. read more
