My favorite burrito and shrimp tacos in town for years. Can't understand the bad reviews. Amazing shrimp and fish tacos and burritos an OG sac gem - wish they were on DoorDash for when I'm lazy!!

What a sweet little local spot. The owner was such a nice guy, so hospitable and the food was good. What more can you ask for.

My first time here and I was pleasantly surprised on how good my vegetarian tacos were. I ordered the potato and cheese, and potato and poblano pepper tacos. The best part, the corn tortilla was deep fried perfectly. The cheese was stringy when I bit into it with the crunch of the corn tortilla. I would have never guessed that this was a Mexican restaurant with their name. They also served other cafe items which I did not order. My husband ordered the fish tacos and said he enjoyed and his favorite of the 2 he ordered was the Baja.

Iam a loyal customer, and now changing from 5 star to 3 star. Been eating at Cafe Capricho for around 8- 9 years , unfortunately place has slowly been going down hill. My Wife and I loved there green salsa its not available anymore, they use to give you a choice between 2 different salsas. Now they give you salsa that looks like puke and not so good. The only reason I still give them 3 star is there crunchy tacos , still some of the best and my favorite crunchy tacos. Staff are polite and professional Place is comfortable and clean

$23.00 with tip. Not worth it.

What a disappointment. I wasn't sure what type of food they served so I looked up their menu and it appeared to be Mexican food. I did not find any sort of ambiance inside. Kind of cold, cafeteria like, English 80's music. You have to stand in line to order. I ordered a plate meat and it was served in a plastic container. The food was neither authentic nor tasty. It tasted like something that came out of a can and was heated up before serving. Staff was barely friendly. I was REALLY hoping for a good meal but was left wanting. Not going back. : (

First time here and I must say I wasn't expecting much especially after seeing the reviews. The co workers wanted to here. I will say glad we did, the food was fresh and tasty! I ordered the Baja Burrito it's what the co worker recommended. I seen on the reviews the one thing people did like was the crispy cheese and potato taco, yes it was not big. But I would recommend both of those items. The burrito was great and taco was so good!

the size of their tacos smh ridiculous

The older man that took my order was extremely rude and short with me; he spoke to me as if i was annoying him with my questions about the menu. When i received my almost $5 taco i was infuriated by the size. It was literally the smallest taco i've ever ordered and based on the price i would've expected more food or at least another taco to suffice. My lunch was ruined and i left upset on how i was treated. Do not recommend!!

This place is still my favorite pizza place in the city. Just great pizza that you can get whole or…read moreby the slice. I usually get a half-pepperoni and half cheese pizza. The cheese pizza here is great; it's topped with dollops of ricotta and ribbons of fresh basil. They have a daily special: the Dino slice, which I'll often get as well. Sometimes the toppings are fun (e.g. pickles) and other times more run-of-the-mill (e.g. salami, bell peppers, etc) but I've never been disappointed even when I thought the flavors would be odd. They used to be pretty good about posting on Instagram what was on the Dino slice was, but I don't see it quite as often these days. If you're into saucing up your pizza, you can get ranch or hot honey or Dino sauce. It's been a while since I had the Dino sauce, but I recall it being tangy and cilantro-y with a bit of a spice kick. It sounds a bit different/odd, but I like getting it from time to time. The Dino eggs, from my recollection, are basically pizza dough balls. Mostly bread, which is fine since their bread/pizza crust is great, but I'd rather just stick to the pizza, so I only tried these once. The fries are good. Though, I probably wouldn't order them alongside the pizza unless you're looking for a carb bomb of a meal (which is what I had done the one time I ordered them). They're probably best if you're just looking for a snack to go with your beer & aren't planning on eating a whole bunch of pizza. They're quite good though. Nice and crispy. And it's a pretty big serving size. They have a dozen or so taps of various beers. Some local, some not. And they have a selection of cans and bottles as well. There isn't a ton of inside seating. A half dozen or so tables? And a few bar seats. There's probably more total seats in front and in the outside side patio. There's only street parking & there's lots of small shops nearby, so you might have to take a short walk from your car to get there.

My partner and I ordered the dino slice which was a chicken, artichoke, spinach, olive pizza was well as a pepperoni to share. On a recent visit, I asked what was a popular choice and that's how I ended up with a barracuda cupcake, which was pretty delicious. I also got a "breakfast" sandwich, the #4, which sort of tasted like a non-breakfast sandwich, but whatever. It was spicy and tasty, but nothing to write home about. Luckily there is a whole vegan menu, so I would happily try another sandwich on a return visit. I also love that this place charges extra to sub meat, and not to sub vegan (which is how it should be, frankly). The spot itself is small, with not a lot of seating, which makes it better as a place to grab stuff to go. The downside of this is that parking is absolutely terrible, so I ended up parking four or five blocks away.

By the time we stopped, I was exhausted and hungry, and really wanted something warm and comforting just to get my energy back, since we still had more driving ahead. The red curry soup was delicious and came in a huge bowl for my surprise. My husband ordered the steak with french fries and enjoyed it. I also considered the fried pickles, but decided against them since the soup was already very filling. I'm giving four stars mainly because I didn't love the interior or the bathrooms. I prefer bathrooms where the sink is inside, so that felt a bit uncomfortable, and overall the atmosphere didn't feel as cozy as I hoped, though that might have been influenced by how tired I was. Also, once more people came in, it took quite a long time to get our check, which was frustrating since we were exhausted and eager to get back on the road. The food itself was comforting and tasty, and it definitely helped after a long day of driving!
