    CINNAMON ROLL
    Ryan C.

This is the most incredible Gluten-Free cafe! I came in on a Saturday morning and it wasn't crazy busy. I had a hard time choosing what to get, since there was so much! I chose the cinnamon roll, it was magnificent! My coffee was really good too. The style of the cafe is very chic and modern, but also a little art deco and retro. I grabbed some sourdough to take home and enjoy later. This is a must visit for anyone that has a GF diet.

Cozy seating and cool walls for selfies!

Came here to try the gluten free food, stayed for the friendly staff, cozy ambience, and free WiFi. I had a teapot of loose-leaf jasmine green tea and a cheddar pretzel, both were excellent. They also have cozy seats and a pretty vignette for pictures! I'll definitely be coming back for a sandwich or pastry.

Matcha taste like dirt, not worth it. Asked for my $ back and they said I ordered it and it's my problem I didn't like it. Ended up throwing it away. Customer service not the best.

Absolutely loved it here! Great little spot that is parent AND kid friendly. We've been having their bread since they were at the midtown farmers market and now that they have a brick and mortar location, we had to check it out. We got a couple cookies, brownie, and a couple sandwiches. The sandwich was phenomenal. Bread came out warm and soft (not usually what you expect with gf bread) and it was killer. The owner saw our daughter doing one of the puzzles and he came over and was thrilled to see her doing it because they had just gotten the game section put in yesterday. Lots of fun games that are for all ages, so it definitely makes this place kid friendly, keeps em busy! I'm glad to see the owners doing so great, we will definitely be back. Just a shame it's far from where we live!

We poked our heads in and were totally impressed and intrigued! This bakery/lounge is totally gluten free and vegan most times. The ambiance was so inviting. They had the largest selection of gluten free items that I have seen in a while. Please check them out!

Went back to have lunch was joined by my mom and grandma. None of us are vegan or gluten free this is in the same parking lot of my son's classes so we decided to try for lunch. OMG so freaking good. My son and I split a sandwich and pizza and it was amazing. My mom and grandma had this cheese boat thing with an egg on it. We all loved it. We decided to meet here once a month for lunch! The staff is always so kind and friendly. This little gem is a must try even if you aren't gluten free!

Fantastic bakery and cafe! Friendly staff, amazing modern decor and chill artistic ambiance. Delicious gluten free treats, breads, and beyond. Do yourself a favor and support this establishment.

Stopped in after an appointment in the area to grab some gluten free treats for a friend at work who has abnormal dietary restrictions. I got her a snickerdoodle cookie and I got one too. I also got a vanilla iced latte. The latte was delicious and had vanilla bean flavor. I liked the snickerdoodle cookie and my friend loved hers. If you have any gluten free people in your life definitely bring them here and you can enjoy the pastries as well. The staff were really nice and it was clean inside.

I just happened to catch them on day two of their soft opening, so dropped by to check things out! I didn't really get too nosy about the ownership and staffing details, but it seems pretty apparent that it's a small family owned business. The main theme here, as the name implies, is gluten free foods - breads and pastries as well as build your own sandwiches and pizzas. They JUST opened, so I'm sure the offerings will evolve over time as they get settled in and see what the demand will be. There's a wide variety of breads - most if not all of them start with a gluten-free sourdough base and then head off in different directions with modifications from the base such as garlic, cranberry-walnut, onion... just to name a few. I have no idea how many varieties they have overall... and I'm sure the list will grow over time. I tried a pizza, and it was decent! I chose ham, jalapeño and pineapple with red sauce. Yes, I'm that guy who sometimes has pineapple on their pizza - haha! Or maybe I did that just to tweak a few of you out there. The size of the pizza is 10"... a bit bigger than what a personal pizza would generally be... probably big enough to feed two halfway normal people. I ate more than half, but I had to push it a bit to get there... and I can put down some pizza! They did a complete remodel on the location - it looks very nice and has a very comfy vibe. Staff was very friendly! I'm really hoping they do well.

Trust me, the chicken pesto crepe I scarfed down like someone was going to take it away from me.

The food is some of the best gluten free options I've had. We had pizza, crepes, cookies, bread and came back for more two days later. Sweet or savory so good my friends who don't require gluten free said they'd come back just because it was great food in a beautiful space. Thank you for making my meals in California a delicious experience.

    All vegan!

Yay a vegan friendly cafe! Everything is Gluten-free and lots of vegan options. They have a BYO sando with tofu, beyond burger and avocado toast. I can't wait to go back and try a coffee with some of their baked goods. Friendly staff and cute/clean cafe!

Hidden Gem for Gluten-Free Goodness! Gluten Off Bakery was such a great find! Like a lot of amazing spots in Sacramento, it doesn't have much curb appeal--but don't let that stop you. Step inside and it feels like a stylish café straight out of San Francisco. It's super clean, modern, and welcoming, with a cozy vibe and friendly service that makes you want to stay a while. They specialize in gluten-free pastries, cookies, and breads--and let me tell you, the bread is the real star here. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly textured (you'd never guess it's gluten-free!). They also serve light lunches like salads and even gluten-free pizza, which is such a nice touch. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and we loved it so much we came back just four days later. If you're gluten-free--or even if you're not--this place is worth checking out. Sacramento could use more spots like this!

The hostess greeted us with a question. "You ladies came to drink or to eat?" She asked. We came for both! We sat outside near the entrance way. It was a nice shaded corner and it gave some privacy from the plants that were decorated along the entry way. The menu was small and interesting. First hour is happy hour $2 off drinks and $10 off food. I'd say this place is perfect for drinks and apps. There isn't a big variety for entree's. But those appetizers were the show! Our Order: grilled riblets, garnish shrimp pieces, watermelon tomato salad beef sliders French fries and the blackened salmon. The ribs-10/10 fall off the bone seasoned well with some kind of green sauce at the bottom. The garlic shrimp- 10/10 in chili garlic oil with focaccia bread. Watermelon tomato salad- 10/10 feta cheese always takes the show! Beef sliders- 10/10 us just being greedy but so good. French fries- 9/10 decent portion! Blackened salmon- 8/10 compared to how flavorful the appetizer's were it made the salmon lack in taste. Something was missing but it was still good loved the coconut milk flavor in the jasmine rice! All in all 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

I arrived around 11:30 and the hostess seated me immediately. Our server, Jaden, came over to the table right away to introduce himself, provide water, and ask if I wanted to get started with any drinks. I decided to wait for my friends to arrive, and while waiting, I took a look at the food and drink menu. Upon arrival of the two friends, we ordered cocktails first and then decided on food. I ordered the Pink Pony and later the cosmopolitan, and eggs benedict for breakfast. My meal was quite delicious and I finished every morsel on my plate. The poached eggs were done perfectly and I really enjoyed the potatos. We were seated in the interior dining room to the left of the entry and I did not check out the other interior areas of the restaurant, but I loved the Mid Century Modern / Palm Springs vibe. I especially loved the "fly fan" on each table to use because the bar behind where we were sitting was open to the outside. We did not have an issue with flies but the fans are a nice and considerate touch. Jaden provided excellent customer service, checking back as our drinks got low, and checking back on the food, which we all very much enjoyed. When we left there was some live music outside, but we did not stay as it was a pretty warm Sunday on 6/14/26, but I will most definitely return. I'm especially looking forward to returning in the evening when the weather gets a little cooler toward the end of summer. This is a really fun place, with great food and great service!

I mentioned Fair Oaks Brew Pub as an option I found on Yelp &, as a local, he said it was a great choice. We almost immediately scored street parking only a few doors down. I'd never been to Old Fair Oaks Village before. Looking around, the little town center was more reminiscent of a historic gold country town up in the foothills than Sacramento suburban sprawl. The cutesy charm of the surroundings extended to Fair Oaks Brew Pub itself. Greeted as soon as we walked up, we chose to sit out in their inviting patio area on a perfect Spring day. Our server was along shortly. She was friendly, helpful, & the right amount of attentive. For brew pub fare, we both chose the Risky Burger. Essentially a Western bacon BBQ variation of their regular cheeseburger. Sides were upgraded to onion rings. For the brew, I got their Chicken Foot Pale Ale. Everything was up before long. The Risky Burger was outstanding. Crispy bacon, tasty onion rings (in the burger, as well as on the side), gooey melted cheese, & a perfectly cooked patty just juicy enough to turn the last bite or 2 of the whole burger into a bit of a mess. The Chicken Foot Pale Ale was decent for style, though a little old school in terms of recipe/ malts/ hops. Still, a refreshing pairing for the Risky Burger. All in all, Fair Oaks Brew Pub was a great spot to grab a bite & a beer in an unexpectedly scenic pocket of suburbia.
