We ordered the street tacos and fajitas during a weekday lunch. Everything was very average. Not bad, just average.

Great food, atmosphere and staff! What we ordered Crispy Tacos- Chicken Nachos Chicken Flautas Started with chips and salsa, warm salted chips with 2 salsas (1 red 1 green) so good with on their own but add a beer or margarita and you've got yourself a spot to chill. Everything was fresh, beans rice and all toppings! I will come back for Chile Relleno and Enchiladas next !

I loved this restaurant! The Mexican decor is very cute! It's out in West Sac, close by the rivercats stadium. I've lived in sac my whole life and never knew it existed because it's in a spot of town that isn't downtown or midtown. The service was great, I felt like the waiter was very personable and helpful! I also thoroughly enjoyed my food and my families food was delicious as well. They have a great selection of alcohol for drinks to enjoy for a fun time out with friends or family.

Best carnitas torta I've ever had. Too large to eat. 1/2 a beautiful avocado. Sal's has some of the best Mexican food in town. Great service and fun decor.

Our experience at this restaurant was just okay. Unfortunately, the service on the outdoor patio was lacking. Our server forgot our drinks, and when my Margarita arrived, it was much too strong for my taste. When I mentioned it, I was told that most guests prefer their Margaritas that way. While I appreciate the insight, it would have been better if they had asked about my preference beforehand. The replacement Margarita was better but still not great. Service overall felt minimal--I had to go inside both to request to-go containers and again to pay the bill, which was inconvenient. Given these issues, I feel that a three-star rating is somewhat generous. I hope they can improve their service, as the atmosphere has potential.

It is my second visit here during lunch time. We had a party of 4. Arrived at 11:30am and was seated promptly. Parking was easy in their small parking lot. Restaurant filled up quickly during the lunch hour. The decor is colorful and made me feel like I was in Mexico. The staff is friendly and attentive. The charge for chips and salsa. Which was odd to me because most Mexican restaurants I have visited usually offer complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. I ordered the 4 soft tacos with 4 different meats: chicken, asada, carnitas, and adobada. I enjoyed them

When we heard Sal's was under new ownership we RAN to try it. 10/10 experience all around! They've made updates to the interior and the patio. We sat on the patio and loved the vibe. It's the perfect spot before or after an A's game. Our waiter was extremely kind and attentive. He checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our food and we were! We ordered the margaritas, steak plate, and enchiladas. Everything was delicious! The beans and rice were perfect too. We'll absolutely be back!

Some of the BEST authentic Mexican food I've ever had! I felt like I was back in Mexico when I entered and took in the ambiance. Super enjoyable service! I highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back here again. Big thank youto Sal's Tacos.

This cafe is so fun the decorations are special in many ways and tile work inside and out. Food was very good I ate too much and we still had leftovers. Fish tacos came crisp fish, lots of cabbage, excellent sauces- just a hop away from Tower Bridge.

Have gone here a couple times, normally for takeout - food is pretty good but the service is meh. They always seem understaffed. Crunchy tacos hit the spot for me. Came with chips and salsa which were fine but not amazing.

The menu has changed since the last time we were here. It's a larger menu now with more variety. We started with the frijoles dip(bean dip). It was really good. It was stringy with cheese. It came with non spicy red and green salsa. I liked the flavor of the green one more. They even refilled the bowl of chips. We also split the plate of street tacos. I liked the steak/asada tacos best. With their new menu I recommend eating here. It was a little chilly as the door kept opening and closing and it's a small place. We were 2 booths from the door. I'd wear more clothing next time.

It was okay. I ordered a burrito and it didn't wow me. So, if you want comfortable food, then go.

Thankfully there was still parking in the lot and seats inside. I was happily surprised there were still seats available as it was the USA game. The place was busy, but not packed. There were still a few seats at the bar when we arrived and a couple of tables available. It was the perfect place to arrive late to watch the game. This has turned over many times since we've lived here. Now it's a Mexican restaurant and bar. It's cleaned up well since we were here last. It has a very cute entrance. It has a couch and 2 shelving units on the sides of the couch. There is a sign above the couch that says Tequila Weill never break your heart. Veggie Taco Salad $14.75: Fired flour tortilla, pinto beans, grilled vegetables, avocado, sour cream, roasted corn & greens. It was very tasty. We loved the grilled vegetables. They were fresh and hot in the bottom of the taco salad on top of the pinto beans. The sour cream was drizzled on top of the avocados. Under that was a little bit of lettuce. There could have been a lot more lettuce. I would order it again. Mulita $7.55 regular price. $5 during happy hour, we sadly missed happy hour by minutes: stuffed corn tortilla, choice of meat, melted cheese ,with sour cream and guacamole on the side. I don't recall there being guacamole on the side, I think they put it in it. The Mulita was chuck full of meat, it was overflowing. It was very tasty. Though very messy. It's hard to eat with your hands alone. We cut it up into small pieces and ate it with our hands. We'd order it again. The ambiance was good. People were cheering for the USA. It was a fun environment. Subdued compared to other watch parties we've been too, but it was still nice.
