So I did what any responsible dog parent would do -- grabbed a box of Porto's and pulled up to Café 168 so my 5-year-old golden retriever, Brady, could experience the kind of birthday energy usually reserved for legends and retired athletes. The staff didn't flinch. They understood the assignment immediately. While dressed in their normal, confident, high-energy work attire, they sang happy birthday like Brady just signed a max contract. My dog sat there completely unbothered, soaking in the attention like a furry celebrity who's been famous since birth. Tail wagging. Chest out. Eye contact locked. This man really thought the celebration was for him -- and honestly? It was. If you're looking for a place that supports emotional healing, elite-level dog confidence, and unhinged yet wholesome chaos... Café 168 is that place. First time visiting Cafe 168 since prior to the pandemic... before the pandemic, I came here semi-regularly. First impression was, I don't ever remember the place having such a strong odor of smoking permeating the air. If you have to go home to a significant other after visiting, you are likely to have strong smoke odor about you... that may or may not make a difference in your plans. Second, on a random Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm it was pretty busy, maybe 75-80% capacity? Only a few tables were available. I got lucky and got a table with good AC blowing on it next to the aisle where the girls walk back to the kitchen to fulfill customer's orders. Nice view as the girls continuously walked by. Four girls were working, some Asian & Latina girls and 1 curly-haired girl who was either mixed race(?) or Latina(?)... doesn't matter as she was gorgeous, with a very pretty face. Customer crowd was approx. 90% Asian and the rest Latino... I was "the white guy." That doesn't really bother or make a difference to me, except I felt invisible/ignored by the girls who were chatting and talking with all the other customers and walking right by me without even glancing in my direction (including girls I tipped when they refilled my tea)... I read another review on here that said the girls ignore everyone but the regulars, which may be true, but I have noticed this same pattern at other Vietnamese coffee shops as well... I was a regular before the pandemic here and still seemed to be ignored backthen as well. Not sure what to say except I always make certain to tip well, so it ain't that... Anyways, as others have noted, girls are quite attractive overall. Coffee is decent. Prices are pretty standard fare for an establishment of this type ( I would have given 5 stars if girls were more social/talkative with me. Even so, I will go back and try again. read more

Visited about 3 PM on a Wednesday. Seating area about 70% full and 6 or 8 tea servers working. Cheerful, charming and attentive. It's about 90% back from pre COVID. My experience here was almost sub par and here's why: Pros: the girls don't refill your tea glass, regularly, the actually let you take your time. Bathroom actually good, everything worked. Cons: you can't pick where you sit, they sit you at some random location. You don't get a menu, so you don't know what you're getting. There's smoking, even near the no smoking signs. There's no food, just drinks and they're incredibly expensive, I paid $9 for a lemonade. I actually ordered two, the first one was like in a milkshake glass, the second one was given to me in a plastic cup with a straw; which was smaller than the glass. The girls here won't interact with you unless you tip them. You have to be a regular to actually come here to be treated decently. What's worse is that there's a 3 hour limit before they kick you out. How do I know? One of the waitresses told that I passed the 3 hour mark and was told to leave. No warning or anything, just like out of the blue. Then I find out that, someone reserved the table I was sitting in. This was my experience here, I wouldn't come back here sometime in the near future. Also, I came when it was raining and half the girls were in sweaters, which was kind of a let down. So this is not so far from Cafe Cat Tong, but the difference is big between the two. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by some very friendly and attractive waitresses. cold tea is served, as soon as you walk in, and there are several waitresses walking around in lingerie, most are very pretty, during the day we walked in so it was not as busy but during night shift we were told it gets busier, total of about 40 people on a midday visit about 9-10 waitresses walking around refilling your tea, if not giving you a smile or quick sit down and talking to you. some older gentlemen sits across from us, and is watching his show on tv, until one of the waitresses come by and refills his tea, his reaction is priceless, from full attention to the tv to a smirk and a huge smile to the waitress haha, simple things makes guys happy, this is one of those places I do recommend coming at night for more stuff to see, I'm sure next time I am in the area I will attempt to come out haha no food here only drinks, smoking in side is ok drinks **** service ***** um yeah ambiance ***** what is not to like, when your view constantly changes hahah read more

Ahhhhhhh, Cafe 168. I'm in love! No, not with the girls in skimpy clothing and lingerie walking about the cafe, with the Vietnamese Iced Coffee they serve here. Seriously, it's probably the absolute best Vietnamese Iced Coffee I've ever had (and coffee for that matter). The service here was good. My iced coffee came out within minutes, coupled with an iced tea. My iced tea never went empty either. The waitresses take turns coming by to refill your drink. The music wasn't too loud in here, and the building itself is pretty spacious. The smoking type tend to hang out towards the back of the cafe, which is nice for the non-smokers who can hang out towards the front. A good variety of sports, infomercials and other content on the televisions throughout the cafe. $6.00 for the iced coffee and teas (with tips for each refill). Overall, not bad. If you're here for "naughty business", they aren't having it here. Also, unlike other cafe's which are similarly themed, the waitresses here don't walk around topless (or otherwise). If they do, I didn't witness it on my visit (and I stood around for a good hour or so). The restroom was pretty dirty.
