    French Towst

Very casual pub atmosphere attached to a a small casino. Arrived at 8:40am on a Saturday - There was no wait, and by the time we left, there were still tables open, but service was very slow. I think it was an hour from being seated to actually getting our food. Fairly expensive for breakfast. I believe the french toast was $18 and an additional $5 for Fruit topping. Advertised as 6 pieces, it came with only 5 but was still a very large portion Coffee was served in huge mugs, which everyone enjoyed. Meals were okay. Those that got the corned beef hash felt that it was overdone.

Unfortunately this was not a great experience for us. We chose it because it looked cute and was on our way to Yellowstone. Unfortunately a server had left, sick, so they were short-staffed. Let's just say we waited an hour for our food to arrive. What made it worse was that people who came in after us (2 tables) got served first. Not good. The food was good, not great, and the servers were more than apologetic, but lesson learned to eat somewhere where there are more choices, so that we could've left once we knew the situation.

Breakfast Breakfast Breakfast is the bees knees. Delicious. The biscuits and gravy are what to order. The Family really enjoyed everything.

Great relaxing place to enjoy breakfast.. you walk in and seat yourself. The service was great and attentive. Many places in the area offer breakfast sandwiches, and it's nice to have a place that actually has breakfast meals. The chicken fried steak was very good and worth the wait. The two eggs breakfast comes with a side of their homemade jam and it was a nice touch.

This was about the only place we could find on our way in and out of big sky go eat. It's a neat little place with a full bar in the back. It's right next to the gallatin river too. The elk chili was awesome. The chili was kind of spicy with lots of meat in it and really good. I liked it a lot. Then I had half of my bacon cheeseburger and I was in heaven. The burger was pretty good size with a fresh pickle on top. You could tell it was a homemade burger as it was really thick. I liked the brioche bun with the fresh lettuce and tomatoes on it. The bacon was still hot like it was just freshly cooked. It took awhile to get out food after we ordered but it was well worth the wait If I am ever back in this area I will stop on in again. Our waitress was super sweet too had suggested a couple of good cold beers for me.

Cafe 191 Bug Sky 5/5 Awesome cafe that's a 5 minutes drive from the shops of big sky. To my gluten free friends, they have amazing GF pancakes! I would highly recommend and would return in a heart beat to eat them again. They even gave me melted butter with my pancakes. They were fluffy, moist, and a large portion. The service was quick and the staff was very nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating (Sun and shaded tables). The price was a little high but seems typical of the area as there is not a whole lot around.

I absolutely love coming here. The service is always so fast and friendly. The food is consistently good, I've had a few things on the menu and I have to say their French toast is a must! Location is right between Bozeman and West Yellowstone just in the canyon of big sky. It's a great little diner to stop and enjoy for locals and tourist!

John & Wayne burger - Angus beef, bacon, onion ring, BBQ sauce, jalapeño, pickles, cheddar and Swiss cheese on a brioche bun - awesome!

Stopped in for a late lunch on the way to Big Sky based on all the great Yelp reviews, and so glad we did! We split the John Wayne burger w/ bacon, onion ring, jalapeños, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese and tomato on a brioche bun, and it hit the spot after a long day of traveling. We also split a great side salad w/ an awesome blue cheese dressing, and their beer battered fries, which were very tasty. They have espresso drinks, Beer, wine and a full bar, too. Our server, Aurora, was so helpful and sweet; thanks! Will have to come back to try their famous rueben sandwich next time!

The prices are…read moreoutrageous, of course, but the real kicker is that you order from a kiosk and then get prompted to leave a tip, and when you look up, the two (TWO!) workers are on their phones. Chef's kiss! Our daughter got the Magic Carpet Ride, which was a pretty good deal for $10 for a small burger and fries. We shared the "GNAR-BE-QUE" ($19 with no sides) and also got some loaded fries and carrot fries. Yes, we were being total fatties after a day of skiing, don't judge! Of course it ended up being way too much food. The burger is pretty good, but the carrot fries were undercooked and the cheese fries were essentially just smothered and became way too soggy. Everything was also super salty. One of us appreciated the spicy margarita and they do have a bunch of beers on draft. This actually would have been a mostly positive review but then we allowed our daughter to get one of those ridiculous milkshakes ($19) and it was downright disgusting. Re. the strawberry milkshake, which was called "Unicorn Toot" (BARF), the actual milkshake portion--aka the heart of the matter--was entirely liquid. Zero element of ice cream or texture and there was so much crap all over it that it was beyond over the top. Cotton candy in a cone plopped on top??! Just WHAT. It's like they came up with the idea with AI it was so dumb. Listen, we had a good time hanging out with a friend there that we randomly met up with at Big Sky, but it seems like there are way better places to eat. We'd skip this place. Three (generous) stars.
