They still have an outstanding wine list. The menu has changed but still contains most of the core items that we have always enjoyed. The disappointing part is the service has gone so far down hill it's no longer enjoyable to go there. Tonight was our final attempt. It was not busy there and we thought we would try again. Unfortunately after being seated and getting water we received no more service. After 20+ minutes we gave up and left. Such a shame to see a good place go so far downhill

Kork's outdoor seating was protected from the wind and they had powerful heaters that they were more than happy to turn on for us. Christopher was our waiter and he was by far one of the best ones we've ever had. EVER! We bonded on where we all previously lived among other things but even without that, he was fantastic; so knowledgeable and so fun. I love the tasting sizes so you can sample a few before deciding on a full glass, which I did with the Sancerre because it's just so phenomenally delicious. Paired with the Funghi and Brie pizza, it was orgasmic. Christopher sold us on the pizza and I'm so glad he did. It was absolutely scrumptious and very light! Delightfully un-American. We snacked on the heavenly popcorn too. Totally took our time, fully enjoying every bite, sip and bit of conversation. When I went inside to use the loo, I saw how cosy and adorable it was and immediately was already looking forward to going back. Bonus points on the loo rooms by the way - gender neutral! Thank you for a marvelous time, Kork. We'll be back!

After a great vacation, I discovered I actually do like wine to some degree. Rosé is top notch. I don't care what traditional gender norms surround the beverages I drink. If it tastes good, I will drink it. Hutto Wine Bar is a beautiful space. The atmosphere is great with plenty of seating and just overall good energy. There's also a supposed large outdoor space, but in the heat of the summer, I'm not going out there. My buddy and I got there 30 minutes before they closed on a Friday night. I ordered the CL Butaud, Papa Frenchy Rosé, and he ordered something sparkling (though I selfishly don't remember exactly what). There was live music from a pianist, and the place was filled with groups laughing and having a great time. No disrespect, but I didn't think East Street would be this poppin' on a Friday night, but HWB proved me wrong. I'll be back for more rosé since it's calling my name and I'm finally picking up the phone. RIYL: Wine? like duh?

Nice and big and just that old town feel. Takes you back to the late 1800's or early 1900's. Plenty of cold beer options and decent wine list. And fair prices - tip just buy the bottle of wine. It's a deal. Service was great as well. We didn't order any food but some interesting options. This place is certainly worth stopping in while you're downtown shopping.

Styled like a Scottish pub--complete with a warm fireplace and plush leather chairs--this bar-tapas hybrid delivers elevated comfort in every sip and bite. Food & Drinks: * The menu is a delightful mix of small plates and satisfying mains. We couldn't get enough of the spinach‑artichoke dip, perfectly crisp pot stickers, and their indulgent boursin cheese spread (gluten free version available). * Their wine list and artisan cocktails are both creative and robust--perfect after a long day. Bonus: their rotating craft beers round it all off nicely. Vibe & Service: * The atmosphere hits the sweet spot--not too rowdy, not too quiet. Great for conversations, group gatherings, or date night. * Staff are relaxed, but attentive--felt like old friends bringing me comfort food and thoughtful pours. Events & Extras: * They frequently host live music--from regional acts to indie favorites--bringing lovely local energy. * Pet‑friendly patio setup is a big plus for dog owners--one reviewer even mentioned the owner greeting their dachshund. Knob Creek rocks, Elijah Craig rocks, a Ranch Water (a bit too sweet), and a classic Italian Aperol Spritz. Dinner on the patio starting with a smoked bacon appetizer followed by a wedge salad. It looked pretty, but nothing came together, and the biscuit was very dry. We also tried the Cuban sandwich--way too fatty and overly thick, hard to enjoy. The loaded croissant, however, was very good, and the fries were solid. The artichoke dip had little to no flavor, and the bread wasn't grilled like the menu said. The atmosphere was beautiful--you feel like you're in a villa. The country drive out there is nice, and the grounds are gorgeous. Drinks were on point and the wine was good, though pricey for a small pour. Our waiter was friendly but not very attentive. Overall, probably won't be back. We've had much better experiences at wineries in Fredericksburg. I don't mind paying for an expensive meal if it's worth it--this just wasn't. Very disappointed.

Service was friendly and prompt on the busy day that I went. You can take your beer to go and explore the rest of the building/check out other vendors or stay put and check out the funky signage adorning the walls. It seems family-friendly.
