This is such a cute coffee shop. The pastries are delicious and the vibes are so cute. The service was fast, inside was clean and I cannot wait to return

Got the 3 cream cheese balls for $4, one pistachio croissant, biscoff lady finger and a Nutella baklava. $20.14 The cream cheese ball breading reminds me of the sweetness of Hawaiian bread. The sesame ball is reminiscent of Asian sesame balls. Could use more cheese in some of the balls, but still quite tasty. The Nutella baklava is okay, the Nutella is good, but over the top with the honey for me. The biscoff lady finger was so-so. The pistachio chocolate croissant was okay, not my favorite. Middle section of the pastry was a bit soggy, kind of how the inside of almost croissants can be from the almond paste inside. The cream cheese balls are definitely the best out of the 4 pastries. Give a try. Skip the rest, wasn't carb worthy.

The seasonal iced cookie butter latte was SOOO good. I would get it everyday if I could. It was packed on a Saturday at 2:30 but the line and service was very fast and there we still places to sit.

Really enjoy the hours of this business, as they are open pretty late which is helpful and convenient! Unfortunately, it was pretty busy when I went and there aren't too many tables for the influx of people who go to this cafe. I ordered the baklava and the chocolate cake for our dessert. They were pretty good but I honestly didn't think that they were worth the prices.

The café is absolutely beautiful and spacious, with an inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendlyy while I was looking over the menu a couple of ladies checked in to see if I was ready, making sure I felt taken care of. I tried the tiramisu latte with cold foam and paired it with a chocolate pistachio croissant were delicious!

I have been here several times now and wow! I LOVE their hours. Open late! Cafes often close at 6pm. But you can grab dinner downtown and then get coffee and dessert! Coffee is hot and artful! The tiramisu is my fave but the inexpensive lady fingers for something small is nice option. My daughter likes they have ice cream. And their savory pastries are all amazing. There are a variety of tables. Larger up front and two person or work station size along back two walls. This is my new fave local cafe. Hands down.

Such a pretty place and the environment is relaxing! A coworker of mine suggested visiting this place (because he knew how much of a coffee guru I am). Therefore, I checked it out and was highly impressed with the great service, the coffee, and the delicious almond croissant! I would most definitely recommend this place to those that need a place to study, walking around downtown Rochester, or need to quickly grab a cup of joe before going to work (or after work!).

An amazing bakery in the heart of downtown Rochester. Right on Main Street. The place is bright and airy. With high ceilings in front, and in the back is a little more cozy. Good amount of tables. But when we came, it got pretty crowded inside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When we visited in November 2023, the owner said they've been open for two weeks. Great service! A ton of options treat wise. It was a feast for the eyes. Also a few savory items. Went with hot chocolates, which was rich and smooth. Goodie wise, we got pumpkin cheesecake, carrot cake, and a macaron. Everything was delicious!

The loo says it all. Details matter. Clean, stocked, and beautiful fixtures.

WHAT A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE! Food was excellent, especially the pastries! They also had ice cream too. Service was tops: very friendly, engaging, kind, accommodating. Ambiance was high energy more than relaxing because of the bright overhead lights, energetic music, and buzzing guests. Loo was beauitful. Parking: Metered lots or metered street parking. Or, park in the 10-14 hour lots and hike it. Come early around 430pm, and get a great view near the windows to watch the bright light show come on at 5pm. Overall, we will certainly be back because of this great space to hang out with late hours of operation. Thank you, Cafe316!

Great service I purchased a travel mug and love it. Took it to Tokyo and back and it's still in great shape.

The inside is super cute, the iced coffee was not that good. There isn't much to say about service because you just order at the counter, but everybody was nice. The croissant was also tasty! I had no idea it was a Christian Café, but that's my bad

It was bit cold inside but since it was so hot outside, I was still happy about it. We were a large party and came by with no reservations but as it was a Monday, we didn't have to wait at all and were seated right away. I didn't catch the name of the server (I forgot her name) but she was fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and ---as a person who works in hospitality, I know how difficult it can be to serve a table of 3 adults and 6 children but she was a pro. She gave great recommendations, was very sweet with the kids, checked up on us regularly and made the entire experience awesome. The food itself was amazing. They have quite a variety of things and I chose to have the Mushroom Benedict ($17) and it came with a side (I chose a side of roasted potatoes). I haven't been to Michigan in 9 years and I live in Los Angeles so these prices are very reasonable and even cheap considering what I'm used to paying for brunch back home. I didn't have any drinks but saw they have a full bar. When I'm back in town, this is definitely a place I would love to come back to.

We texted our friends our order and were 20 minutes out when the table was ready. They refused to seat our group, demanding we all be there because the table would then be taken up too long (even though our friends had our order and food takes time to cook ANYWAYS). We got to the restaurant and ended up waiting another hour just to be able to get a table that we had been waiting for an insanely long amount of time. There is no flexibility, humanity, or understanding with this restaurant. Only robots who "have policies" and are "sorry - that's just the way things are." Honestly, McDonald's is better at this point. At least the food is on par with the shit service at McDonald's. No point in nice breakfast if the people aren't even.kind

My wife and I each had a coffee and sandwich, both were exceptional. I'd dare to say that Elliot has perfected that Roast Beef Chimichurri - honestly, one of the best sandwiches that I've had in years. After we sat down to eat, Rachel came over for a chat. We could've hung out with her for hours, alas we weren't the only ones there and the everyone-is-a-regular vibe that Novel gives off sent Rachel over to some newly arrive customers to welcome them in. If you haven't been, go, but be sure to clear some time on your schedule as my wife and I found that we didn't want to leave and had a 2nd coffee while lounging with a book.

The roast beef chimichurri was okay, but it felt like it needed something to level out the heat of the chimichurri. I think it would be amazing with some roasted red pepper--slight heat to balance the spice. I know it would change the sandwich to something entirely different, but i think it would be amazing with coleslaw. Bookstore was fine, just a lot less books than I was hoping for. Looks like they keep a mix of more popular/new release titles, mixing in some older favorites. As a librarian I am always going to want more books, so take that with a grain of salt.

This is part of a multi-use group of buildings and they seem to have the prime spot right at the corner. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a clean and pleasant space with high ceilings and green and gold decor. It's all new and there is a variety of seating types. I chose to sit at a small table near the side entrance. They have so many great food and beverage options, it was hard to choose. The nice young lady who took my order was very patient with me - I had lots of questions being my first time here. I ended up with a Mocha Pearls drink, Nutella Dubai Baklava, and an Almond Croissant. The drink was supposed to have chocolate pearls in it but I suppose since I ordered it hot, they melted. It basically tasted like a chocolate mocha so I would like to come back and try something different next time. The baklava sent me to the moon and back - I love chocolate baklava and it's hard to come by. Add the "Dubai" crunch kataifi with pistachio and I'm done! It was amazing! The Croissant was served warm and it had an almond paste inside. Soooo fresh and good! I love the attention to details and the care they took to serve everything so visually appealing. I appreciate that added touch. I will be back - and likely often!

In all fairness, I'm probably not the target market here - they have a huge drink menu with lots of different syrups and flavorings but I'm more of a no frills coffee person. The first time I got a plain latte and it was just ok, so this time I tried one of their specialties - the Mont Cloud. I assumed it would be mostly coffee and some cream but I guess it was a cloudy day because it was mostly cream (and ice) for $7. I also decided to try the basbusa because I've never had it before, but again ended not being up my alley since it's syrup-soaked. Oh well. The inside is decorated really cute and there's lots of different kinds of seating. They also have an outdoor patio area. Free parking since this coffee shop is located in a little strip mall. 3.5 stars overall.

The front is well maintained and welcomes you through the door to a gorgeously decorated dining room and bar. Seating is somewhat limited (it's a small space) but we got there during a slower period so we were sat right away. The brunch menu has a good variety and I opted for the Avocado Croast (the "toast" was a croissant) and a drip coffee. Beware that the drip coffee gets only one free refill. I asked during ordering because there are some places that don't give any free refills. Hubby ordered the Huevos Rancheros served in a bowl. The food came out beautifully and was very fresh. If I wanted to nitpick, I'd say they are keeping the roasted potatoes in a steamer which is making their crispy outer layer somewhat soggy but they still tasted good. They should revisit how they are keeping them warm or crisp them quickly before serving. The avocado toast didn't have a lot of avocado but it was still good. They should consider adding some sea salt to top it off - it would enhance the overall flavor. The service was good - I think our server wasn't comfortable in this job. That was okay for us as she warmed up to us after a while. All in all, a nice experience for our first time there. I'd like to return to try other menu items in the future.
