So I have lived in Old Orchard Beach almost my whole life, and I am SO happy Cafe 64 opened. They are quickly becoming a year round town staple. I'll start with their baked goods, I love following their Instagram page just to see what they are coming up with! They have their own freshly made version of pop-tarts which I have been dying to try. Their cinnamon buns are also really popular and trust me, they are super gooey and delicious and will not disappoint. In terms of coffee, they carry coffee by design products. Every latte or coffee I've gotten here is really well made and high quality, they have a great selection of flavors too if you're into that. I also love that if you order to eat in, you get to enjoy your latte or coffee out of a glass mug. And the food! We generally come here for breakfast, and my go-to is the Berry Acai Bowl. My S.O. swears by the sausage breakfast burritos and says they are the best around! Overall, if you haven't been in you should definitely check it out! read more

We came here two days in a row for breakfast, everything there was good. They have breakfast sandwiches for 5.50 with an kind of meat in it. This is my favorite place to get breakfast in OOB. I can order online and do curbside pickup. My favorite thing to order here is the breakfast burritos and the acai bowls. They also make paninis and lattes and cappuccinos. It is a must try. I love this place! read more

Don't go here unless you want to waste 1 hour waiting in line for average breakfast. I've given this place 3 chances and every single time it takes FOREVER to get in and out. We stopped here a few times during vacation. It's a cute cafe with a small shop . It was less crowded during the week. Food and coffee were great. A very pleasant place to grab some coffee and breakfast! The cafe includes a cute store where some gift items are sold- bracelets, mugs, etc. The environment is nice and relaxing. The workers were very friendly and the pastries are made fresh! They also have a decent amount of coffee options if you want something sweet to drink. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on ciabatta and it wasn't bad, just not excellent. It was a little small, and the bread was just ok. Avoid this place at all costs. We were so excited to try this place and paid for several items for online pickup. When we got there they created a brand new receipt with only 2 items out of 5 that we paid for on it and tried to get away with not giving us our coffees. Then, we get home and realize they did not give us one of the pastries we paid for. They refuse to give a refund for the item that was not given to us. Aside from stealing our money, the coffee is very low quality and they use cheap syrups. You're better off going to Beach Bagel across the street for better food and service. read more

Well, I certainly wasn't disappointed as the CB was this cinnamon bun was one of the most moistest cinnamon buns I have ever had. Their breakfast sandwiches were nice, latte was awesome, staff polite, patient, very friendly, try to move the line fast. I ended up getting second latte it was that good. Only breakfast place that was open within walking distance from the hotel (tourist) strip after labor day. Props to them for that. Layout a bit messed up, as if it wasn't designed to prep food and creates a bit of a congestion on a busy hour. There is a gift shop there too and a self serve coffe option as well. There is outdoor seating (two picnic tables with umbrellas) and a few indoor tablesz Now if you are a hot chocolate connoisseur like my hubby, this place may not make you happy. They don't really know hot chocolate, whatever that was, it wasn't it. Hot chocolate flavored hot water, perhaps. Anyways consider yourself warned. Not taking away a star for that. Making a great cup of hot chocolate is an art and we went their for breakfast and we got it :) I would recommend this place. Food's good when made the right way and that's about 1/2 the time I find, Just the other day I was the only one in the place and the manager explained to the person on the grill how i like my sandwich made, well, it was wrong when I got home and opened it up, today I go in and ask for two cinnamon rolls so looking in the bag the handed me they were upside down and not with any wax wrap to handle them, so I am all done with this place! We came here twice for egg sandwiches and coffee. My husband liked the coffee more than I did, but the egg sandwiches were great. Both days I got an egg sandwich with steak, pepper jack cheese and guacamole. My husband got a bacon egg and cheese one day and a ham egg and cheese on another. Great place for breakfast pastries and coffee! We got sandwiches here one day and they were very mediocre. The chicken salad was VERY salty, and there was such a small amount of tuna salad on my sandwich, I would have preferred to get it from subway instead. However, their breakfast pastries are SOOO good! We got muffins and coffee but everything smelled amazing im sure you couldn't go wrong with anything baked good wise. Don't go here unless you want to wait forever! We ordered coffee 30 minutes early and paid online. When we got there it still wasn't ready and we had to wait 20 minutes until they finally got to us. 5 other people came in and picked up their orders and left. Coffee was just alright.
