Today I visited Cafe 66's new location. I saw their new menu posted on Facebook and intended to go for breakfast. Unfortunately, breakfast is not served after 10:30AM. This is not stated on their online menu or in any recent Facebook posts. Instead of having breakfast, I decided to order the pork and mac sandwich with no jalepeños and a side of baked beans. I was displeased to see that two tables, one a party of three and another a party of two, whom ordered after me had received their food before I did. Once I received my food, it was lukewarm at best. I informed the waitress and she brought a new one out to me. The meat on the second sandwich was warmer; however, the mac n cheese was still cold. I was informed by the waitress that it sits in the pot so it should be warm. I also received jalepeños on the second sandwich which I previously asked them to omit. At this point, I spoke with a manager whom was very nice, had a fresh, new meal prepared for me to take to go, and graciously comped the meal even though I offered to pay. Eventually, I will try out Cafe 66 again because the service was wonderful and food was good despite being cold but maybe I will wait until they work out all the kinks of their new location. read more

Our first experience at Cafe 66 didn't disappoint and I highly recommend that you don't wait as long as we did to visit! We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile, taken care of by a wait staff that emulates superb customer service, and the food was as home cooked as I would get at my grandparents house as a kid. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Cafe 66...be sure you try their crispy southern fried okra and don't forget to order a perfected cinnamon to icing ratio cinnamon roll. Your plate (or to go box) will be licked clean! To top it all off, it's local Vero people that own the restaurant. So if you see Dan or Lacy, tell them Misty sent you. We have traveled around this country and others and we found this Cafe by chance went in and ordered the Cuban sandwich we were blown away by its size then then 5he flavor is out of this world I have been to Cuba 11 times and have sampled Cuban sandwiches from Miami to Jacksonville fla we're they say the true Cuban sandwich came about but 5he Cuban you get a caffeine 66 is so superior to anything you get here in the states and they are so humble in their presentation that you wantto come back for more as wehave gone back 9 times just for their cuban. Passing through Vero Beach and found this BBQ gem. Had the Pork And Mac Sandwich and it was everything I had expected plus more. Food was tasty, plenty of options. Also the fries were perfectly made unlike other places. Plus the staff is super nice and friendly. Next time I'm jefe I will make sure to pay them another visit. read more

Had dinner there the other night. I had the fried haddock, my husband had the smoked chicken. Not sure where else around here you can get haddock that cheap, but it was great.
