Yes..it is Rocky Balboa theme everywhere!…read more 5 star legit Philly Cheesesteaks! Made fresh once you order. 3 star logistics..kinks that can be worked out. The menu lacks details, so ask a lot of questions. It would be helpful to see list of options to add or change. For example, the chicken cheesesteak does not come with anything but cheese on it. Glad i asked, because i can't imagine having one without onions & peppers. Also..i wanted a different cheese. Again, glad i asked. FYI..something else you may want to know if you add peppers..some are jalapeno. That's odd for a standard, but definitely should tell people. I like spicy, but if you don't..you would be really upset. Overall, loved it. Definitely would order again. But please take the advice to improve your menu and options so people can see. Will help you serve people better. Cooked fresh, very fast. Did takeout. All very satisfied with the huge hero and taste. Definitely will be back!

Let's cut to the chase, Newark, you finally have a very good cheesesteak. It comes on a nice seeded roll. It has a very good amount of nicely chopped meat. A great amount of cheese that is melted onto everything. I was okay with the fried onions. Amigo Dan wanted more flavor from them. Elk River Brewing on Bourbon Tuesday is a great place to eat your cheesesteak. Full disclosure, my first bite was into a piece of well-formed gristle. That took a lot of enjoyment out of my first eating. The last video is me reheating the leftovers. I really liked the leftovers. One minute in microwave. 5 minutes in air fryer.

Horrible (brunch) menu and service. Absolutely nothing remotely normal on the menu: no option to…read moreget eggs and toast and meat, just pork bellie pig and other weird choices. No pancakes, (unsfuffed) French toast, bagels with lox. Chairs are old and extremely uncomfortable. Place is loud even if a few people are there. It's literally hell. Horrible service. Waiter brought me 2/3 of a cup of warm coffee and asked if I wanted milk or cream and sugar instead of bringing them over. Had to wait five minutes for my eerily specific request for a certain number of creams and Splenda. No spoon or other way to mix the cream and sugar. I couldn't find a single thing on the menu that seemed even remotely close to palatable, so I ordered an English muffin, thinking I'd be safe. Wrong. It was doughy and soaked with butter. Should I have told them to hold the butter because I was a jelly guy? Who knows. I've never felt more like leaving a zero dollar tip than I did at Greenhouse Gastropub. Skip it.

They sell a lot of their own merch so that's what you first see when you walk in. They have a bar area as well. The dining area towards the back is very spacious. And they have seating to accommodate small-large groups. The dim lighting adds to the calm vibe of the restaurant. The service is so fast. I feel like every item came out so quickly. And the servers checked in pretty frequently to clear the table, ask you if you need another drink, dessert, etc. it did feel a bit rushed. As a starter they give you their Ciabatta bread and the sun-dried tomato oil. The oil was DELICIOUS. I literally bought a jar to take home. For my drink I got the Fresca. It was good, very refreshing. For my entree I got the Linguini & Clams. It was good, could've used a bit more salt but the sauce was good. For desert I got the boozy affogato and it was delish. Would definitely dine here again if I'm ever in the area.

We were in town visiting again and wanted to our daughter to an Italian dinner…read more My wife ordered the Gnocchi, my daughter the manicotti, and I ordered a pizza. We fired things up with an order of Truffle garlic bread. Everything was delicious! It was the second time we have eaten here and we weren't disappointed. My wife's Gnocchi were delicious... although she was slightly disappointed to find that her Eggplant that came with her dish came in the form of a fried disc. Anyway, my daughter loved her manicotti and I enjoyed my pizza. The waitress was kind but harried. It's a college town. The place gets busy. The failure to bring me a plate or knife and fork, along with waiting forever to pay the check is the reason Taverna doesn't receive 5 Stars. I will definitely try them again.
