They were rude, disrespectful and had no care for the customers. The management team wasn't of any value either. I had too many negative interactions with shopping in this store. I was still bringing my Aunt to this store only because of items in your bakery area. But took her recently and had to accompany her due to her recent heart surgery and was astonished to see the conditions of this store. Purchased Turkey Hill ice cream which had a valid expiration date yet it was definitely bad! The refrigerators didn't seem as cold as they should have been either! They had people working at the Deli counter that were unable to understand what it meant when a customer ordered a " chunk piece of bowl and basket liverwurst approx weight 2 lbs." Advised it was okay if over or under...they were asking each other what that meant????? I guess this store is heading for closure or you will end up with a major problem from food spoilage/sickness. The cooked roasted chicken was terrible...not what your store used to produce. The eggs were basically near expiration date. I was lucky to find 2 dozen eggs with not close expiration dates! If this store goes through an inspection by the proper authorities it is sad to say it would probably fail miserably. I was a loyal customer for over 35 years but no longer. I hope ShopRite does read this and does something.

The food was well seasoned the pita was soft and fluffy like a good pita should be. The white sauce was yummy, and yes that is what it is called. Ambiance- This place can seat about 15 people and the person at the register also cooks the food. He served us as well and was polite and willing to explain things to us but we were ok. Hidden Gem! First visit tonight after several hours of ice hockey....found on Yelp and am THRILLED!! Husband and Son Had the Lamb Gyro Platter (lamb, rice, pita and salad) and I had Chicken Shshlik (Owner Recommended and modified to my personal taste) that were both SPECTACULAR!!! Food was hot, fresh and so tasty, Made to order and was just the right amount of spice. Meat was flavorful and moist, rice was just right, not mushy at all!! Large amount of food, provided dinner with enough left for lunch tomorrow! White sauce is so good, and added the right amount of creamy! We will DEFINITELY be back!!! This is the best place if you are looking for middle eastern food. So happy I get to live right above this place because it is so good and tasty. The chicken gyros are phenomenal and the chicken and lamb over rice is unbeatable. Their rice is delicious and very tasty as well. Love this place. To top it off, their employees are very kind and funny. They truly make it a lighthearted and fun environment as all college town food places should be. I go here at least once a week. read more

Was dying of hunger one day and only a dish put on a platter by Gordon Ramsay in the flesh would suffice my need. Walked into Halal Gyro Kabob House for the first time and was greeted right away by Mostafa. Drove a distance to get there and it was well worth it. Had a taste for a good gyro and it was the best I have ever tasted - delicious! I was doing the happy dance. I ordered another platter and will have to taste it tomorrow.
