Waffle House is better. *no sarcasm here* I paid the tip UP FRONT, when I ordered. A Waffle House cook should teach this guy how to cook hashbrowns, which were undercooked and lacked flavor. The sausage links tasted like they were in a freezer bag, before being "cooked". My omelette was tiny, only about five inches wide. I was never asked if I wanted another coffee. I've been to France, and the croissants here are the closest you'll get to any bakery you'll find in France. The owners are very personable, and care about the customers. My favorite things to get are any of the croissants, a Nespresso espresso, and the sandwich of the day. This doesn't even take in the many other REAL French food that isn't Americanized! Wonderful food, coffee, and service! This was my first time here, but I'll definitely keep returning. They have a beautiful selection of French style fresh baked pastries, crepes, and light breakfast items. They might serve more items than that, but I was on a breakfast mission and had my blinders on. I ordered the croque Madame (like a croque Monsieur with an egg on top) and my mother had a fresh apple croissant. Both were amazing! The coffee was equally enjoyable, but the real treat was the service. From the moment we walked through the door till we finished our meal, we were greeted with smiles, friendly helpful service and cheerful employees all around. My boyfriend and I came to Baldwin to go to Osprey only to find out they weren't open for lunch. We walked around a bit and decided to give this French bistro a shot. The coffee was fantastic but the food, not so much. We ordered the special which was a baked egg and cheese, hash brown type of plate. We asked for our eggs over easy and they came out nearly over hard and the dish was just dry in general. We ordered the French toast as well and it came out soggy but from what they said, this is how they make it and not to order it next time. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

I love the food here and am a regular customer and live nearby. The service is typically good but this time not so much. When I arrived to pick up a take out order that had called in ahead for the college kid at the counter actually gave me a number and made me wait to get a few bakery items I added to the order out of the case. All they had to do was put the stuff in a box which would have taken 15 seconds and I would have been on my way. Instead, I had to sit there and watch him socialize with another server who also would have been able to help me. The owner should maybe think about keeping a closer eye on his staff if this happens. I considered asking for my tip back but at that point it wasn't worth the effort. read more

I live in Baldwin so when this place opened I was very excited being that there were no coffee shops here at the village center. The first week that it opened I went over there and I was thrilled to try everything! To my surprise, when I got to the counter, the person there as not very nice, nor smiling at all (I found out later that he was the owner), always with a bad taste in my mouth from that, I still went on to order a ham & cheese croissant and an espresso, my husband ordered a cappuccino. The coffee was perfect, they have a Lavazzo Italian coffee maker. The croissant was very disappointing, it wasn't flaky not crunchy, it tasted as if I was warmed up in the microwave... What a shame. I have been back twice since to just have coffee and sit outside, though one time I did that I was asked to leave since I had been there for over an hour with my husband and kids (they were having ice cream from next door) hanging out, and I had only purchased two coffees. Wow!!!! The beauty of Baldwin park, is being able to spend time outdoors with you family and enjoying a good, friendly environment. Since then I haven been back... Good food but bring your own condiments.... spent $35 on two meals and asked for syrup for our food. They actually made us get up and pay for it, $1.50 which probably would only cost them about 10cents. In my opinion that's not good customer service..... to make us get up and pay for $1.50 syrup when we just spent $35. Just seems like something they should just give us as courtesy. read more

I moved to Baldwin recently and had been told by other residents to check out this new cafe. After trying it this morning I can say that it will become a regular spot for me. My friend and I checked it out I had a savory item called something madame and it was a delicious breakfast. My friend got a sandwich and really enjoyed the nice crunch the crust on the bread. We also tried the salted butter and sugar crepe... I am having to keep myself from running back downstairs and grabbing another one of those. It was the perfect amount of sweet and really let the flavor of the crepe come through. If you are in the area I definitely recommend giving this place a try. read more

Nice new breakfast/lunch bistro in Baldwin Park. Great individual sized Quiche of the day served with a small salad. This lite lunch deserved an almond croissant graciously heated up for dessert. Loved it. Please try them. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We will be back soon. read more

Recently opened, but with solid experience behind the chef/owners this small cafe is a welcome addition to Lake Baldwin village. Simple decor, order at the counter for relax at one of the tables inside or outdoors. Excellent croissants (would love to be able to buy their baguettes, if they are house-made) - and I've had croissants from some of the best across the country and these are right up there! Enjoyed Croque Monsieur with the classic preparation, accompanied by a small salad. Small quiche also delicious - just enough for a light lunch or afternoon snack. Choice of pastries, including a delish chocolate lava cake. The Napoleon just so-so... I would love to see more soup options, but hopefully that will come once they get settled into their new place. Thoughts - background music would add charm, perhaps some plants and artwork as well. As we live in BP, Cafe 906 is on our list to visit each week! read more

Very cute spot for a casual patio brunch and a mimosa, followed by a stroll around Lake Baldwin. The almond croissant is delicious and the omelet was pretty good too, as were the crunchy hash browns that came with it. Super friendly owner who checked on us several times while we ate outside, and brought fresh water for our dog. Being from California and have visited Paris, I am used to high price but this is way too high for Orlando and the authenticity of the food. Also, the pastries and food options are very limited. I'm so glad Cafe 906 opened up in Baldwin Park. My husband and I went here one day for a brunch and we are glad we did. We weren't that hungry so We split a baguette sandwich. It was delicious, bread, meat and cheese. Something funny happened. I asked for mayonnaise, because hey I'm American. The french owner initially refused me and said this bread doesn't need it because it's a good bread. I slunk back to my table. It annoyed me but as I ate the sandwich I could see he was right. I know he would have given me a packet if I had insisted. I'm okay with that experience but that level of control from the owner might be a turn off to some people - for me it was okay and I'm glad I listened to him. Check it out!! read more

I go here almost 2-3 times a week for breakfast. My favorite, Nutella crepe. Lunch is good here too, their salads and sandwiches are delicious and coffee is great too.
