I just tried their Gyro pita sandwich and it was wonderful! I've had gyros from various places, and this one ranks up there near the top - the lamb was perfectly seasoned with a slight smokiness, and they didn't skimp on the meat, just the right ratio of meat to vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and tightly wrapped so you could eat it from the wrapper without it falling apart. First off, the people running Cafe Agora are as nice as they come - I generally only rate based on food quality, but it should be said these people are awesome! I ordered the gyro pita sandwich combo with a side of falafel. The taste was great! This may have been my fault for taking it to go, but my pita was a little soggy when I got home to eat it due to the amount of tzatziki - my only complaint. The meat was spiced as it should be, and there was a decent amount of it. I'm not sure if the pita was fresh made or not, but it was tasty, and the falafel was cooked perfectly! Are they as good as something like Papa Cristos in LA? No. But nobody really is, and they're also about half the price! I definitely look forward to eating from here again. I love hummus and pitas, so I ordered the classic chicken pita with hummus as my side. I felt that the pita was a good size, though it seemed like maybe the proportions of greens to meat was skewed toward greens. The serving size of the hummus could have been bigger, and maybe a few more pita pieces for dipping. I enjoyed everything though nothing about it has really stood out for me to review. It's amazing to me the variety and quality of food choices that can come out of a food truck's kitchen! I'm visiting from the Chicago area where Greek restaurants are everywhere. The food here was fantastic, so tasty! I had gyros meat (nicely toasted and crispy) and grilled onions over jasmine rice. The sauce was not the typical tzatziki but was delicious. The hummus and pita on the side was also very good. Others in my party enjoyed the marinated chicken and falafel. We also tried the mango lassi and found it quite refreshing. Very friendly prices for truly high quality food. They have options of chicken, falafel, beef and lamb. I'm not vegetarian but the falafel panini was insanely good. Mike, the owner and head chef, was nice enough to explain how the dish was made and they only use whole fresh foods! So freshly made that they don't even have a microwave... This place was AMAZING!!! First off, the BEST customer service ever! Especially ensuring the safety of customers and employees during COVID. Then the food! Oh the food!!!! We got the Kebab Saj panini and the Chicken Saj Panini. The caramelized onions on the kebab make it so delicious. But the garlic chicken Saj was our absolute favorite! The garlic sauce and the fries with perfectly spiced chicken is to die for!!!! I am pregnant and fully plan to send my husband to pick this up (45 min drive) on a regular basis. The food is excellent. The prices are fair. The owner and staff are very friendly, professional, and really "get" service, even though it is a cart and not a table service establishment. I ate here for the first time last week, I got the sandwich with the chicken and the hummus as a side, and it was so delicious. I also tried the baba ghanouj and it was amazing. Super friendly service! Very inviting. I had the lamb gyros and side of dolmas and it was on point! Owner Mike is obviously proud of the excellent and fresh preparation, from hand-blended and formed falafel to the fantastic garlic creme sauce on the fries. Falafel: perfect size - not the usual rock-hard cannonballs, but small soft and flavorful. Greek fries: hand-cut potatoes fried to soft, and topped with garlic creme sauce using just the right amount of feta and light dusting of sumac powder.
