    Matcha basque

I love the aesthetic of this place, the pastries look delicious and parking was easy to find. I love the match and London fog mix but I'm not sure if it had enough wow factor for me to get it again. Might stick with my matcha or London fog next time. Both were delicious on its own. The matcha basque is good but I wish we snatched a chocolate crossant or other pastries before they sold. Will have to come back again! No laptop during peak hours. And no wifi.

Not the most comfortable place to sit and chat for a long period of time, but I love the coffee and pastries here. They're absolutely delicious! And I love all the windows that provide ample natural lighting. I'm a particular fan of their iced orange Americano. It's so refreshing. I think it's only a seasonal drink though.

What a cute little cafe in the South Vancouver area! I aboslutely loved the aesthetics of this cafe and not to mention that had just delicious drinks and baked goods. I loved the matcha fog and it wasn't too sweet. I also got the shio pan and with it being heated up, it was so fluffy and tasty. I cannot wait to be back to try more of their drinks and baked goods, and this time maybe sit in to soak up the cozy vibes.

I discovered this place through Instagram and was drawn to the variety of baked goods and drinks they offer. The cafe had a very cozy ambiance. I ordered a Houjicha Latte and a Matcha Croissant to enjoy there, and took home a Biscoff Cookie and Shio Bread. The Houjicha Latte was absolutely delicious, with the perfect level of sweetness and a properly strong Houjicha flavor--I really enjoyed it. The Matcha Croissant was good, I did like the Matcha chocolate on top. The Shio Bread was delicious. The dough was soft and nicely chewy, and the salt flavor was just right. The Biscoff Cookie was on the sweeter side, but I really liked the texture of the cookie dough, and the Biscoff topping was a nice touch. I would love to revisit and try different baked goods and drinks.

Bright, open space with a pretty good selection of baked goods considering they're in their soft opening phase. They even had a vegan croissant. They said they'll be adding more options later on. Prices are on par with other cafes. Items that I tried: Matcha strawberry latte- I got mine with oat milk (additional +0.75). The strawberry puree was sweet and mixed in with the matcha, created a balanced drink. I was happy I could taste the matcha. Egg tart- the crust was flaky and custard creamy. It was not very sweet at all. I actually think it could have been a touch sweeter. Butterscotch cookie- the cookies reminded me of levain cookies. Thick and more cakey (?) not sure if that's the word to describe it, but I liked it. It was sweet but it'd be perfect with coffee. Overall, the vibes of the cafe are great. If I'm in the area, I'd come by again for a drink and baked good.

Visited with a few friends yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The cafe is very spacious, bright and had variety of seating. The cafe works where u order at the counter and they give you a buzzer. I got the iced matcha latte and my friends got the strawberry latte and strawberry matcha latte. The drinks were sooo good the matcha was perfect consistency and color, not too much milk and had a nice toasty taste. I definitely want to come back to try more drinks and pastries

Very cute cafe that recently opened up! The inside is very trendy and cute like the ones you see in Korea/Japan. The only thing is that the seating situation sucks, they're very small tables and usually filled up even though they have a lot of space to add a couple more. If you're coming on a weekend, definitely expect to take it to go unless you're willing to wait for a seat awkwardly. We got the strawberry matcha latte and a matcha lemonade for drinks, which were both $6.50. The drinks were delicious but the size was really small (smaller than a tall at Starbucks). The desserts we got were a classic basque cheesecake and matcha croissant which were also pretty good. Basque Cheesecake was fluffy and moist in the middle and the croissant was flaky, chewy, and not too sweet. These were standouts to me! :) Lastly, we had a teriyaki chicken sandwich. I wanted to try a different flavour but this was the only one they had that day. It was not the best, they heated it up but the inside was still cold and honestly it was just not the vibe with the garlic cheese on top. I'd put this in last place. Overall, the drinks and dessert were good but a tad expensive. I wouldn't go for their savoury items but otherwise it's a cute date or study spot with yummy sweet treats.

Everything was delicious! Drinks were amazing! Pastries so flaky and the best cookies! Went back 2 more times within a week.

Tiramisu | Cheesecake…read more One Cake Boutique is easily one of my favourite cake shops. I got one of my favourite flavours, tiramisu and cheesecake, and both were absolutely on point. What I love most is their balance -- the cakes are not overly sweet, yet still rich, creamy, and full of flavour. The tiramisu is smooth and light with just the right coffee kick, while the cheesecake is velvety, indulgent, and melts in your mouth without feeling heavy. Perfect if you enjoy desserts that feel elevated and thoughtfully made, not sugar bombs. Definitely a go-to spot when I want cake that tastes as good as it looks. Best for: Not-too-sweet dessert lovers, celebrations, and cheat-day treats done right.

The cake itself was moist and bouncy. The cream was light and airy. We particularly like their mango and lychee rose cake. The mangos were ripe and sweet. The lychee rose cake had chucks of lychee in between the cake layers with a subtle hint of rose petal that complimented well with the lychee. Everything was scrumptious and it definitely caters to an Asian palate as it wasn't too sweet but just the right amount that you won't feel too heavy after devouring all 3 pieces of cakes! This is a gem and I will definitely be back for more of their delicious treats!

I found Qui during their soft opening, as it's right next door to my daughter's dance class. Qui rock's a stylish interior and happy vibe. Jazz music flows freely and the decor cuts sharp and fine, like their creations behind the glass. I ordered the rose tea and Lychee cake. A delectable not too sweet combination I tried for the first time. The young lady that is the creative force behind Qui clearly has an abundance of talent and technique. Service was great. Shiny, happy people. It was special to see the bubbling excitement of youth chasing a dream. Good luck to Qui Patisserie, please check them out for yourself, I look forward to seeing what fellow yelpers think!

Reservation: I made a reservation a few days in advance for afternoon tea. The booking process is available on their website and was very easy to navigate. Food: It was also Chinese New Year, so their afternoon tea featured some CNY-inspired savory items presented in a bamboo steamer, along with a yuan bao-shaped dessert. Both the savory and sweet selections were delicious and beautifully presented. I've compared Yandoux Patisserie with a few other afternoon tea menus, and I found that they offer more thoughtfully designed, higher-quality items such as beef tartare, salmon oshi, and truffle mushroom crostini. I especially liked that they only serve one scone, so you're not too stuffed to fully enjoy the sweet items. The staff also informed me that their chef change out the menu regularly based on occasion or season. So you won't be getting the same menu every time! Pricing: The set was $59 per person, plus tax and tip. For the quality they offer, I think it's absolutely worth it and comparable to hotel afternoon tea experiences I've had in the past. Customer Service: The staff was very attentive and friendly. They answered all of our questions and reviewed the menu with us to confirm our afternoon tea set. Once the tea set arrived, the staff explained each item and the suggested order for enjoying them. They also regularly refilled hot water in our teapot throughout the meal. Ambiance: Since it was Valentine's Day, the staff decorated the table with fresh rose petals. They even gave me a single rose stem at the end of the meal, which was such a sweet touch. The entire space is very clean, cute, and perfect for afternoon tea. Yandoux Patisserie is located in a building with a parking garage. Parking was about $1 per hour, which was very reasonable. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in town next!!
