Fresh Warm Made to Order Beignets

Best Beignets Around! Made Fresh to Order! Service and Atmosphere is Awesome! Coffee's are Fresh and Tasty

This place is a must do for our annual girls trip. It's a hole-in-the-wall with a homey aesthetic. The beignets are FANTASTIC! And so is the customer service. Justin is super bubbly even at 7am!

Inside Cafe Beignet. Simple but clean.

Cute place located in a strip mall. I've had Beignets in NOLA. These were delicious. Inside was plain and simple. Beignets were made fresh for each order. We went there on a Monday and they definitely had a steady steam of customers. There is a breakfast place either next to them or one building over. I'm not sure if they are the owners of that as well. Would recommend if you are in town.

Coffee and beignets made fresh. We tried a filled and regular bignet both excellent. Coffee was crisp and stout.. full breakfast menu available from sister cafe next door too. Service was prompt and personable. Ambiance is that of a seasoned NoLa cafe ..

Regular order includes 3 beignets

We loved this little cafe so much, we visited twice this week! I introduced my daughter to the wonderful world of beignets and iced vanilla coffee. Prices are fair for portions. Everything was delicious, and we loved the friendly staff!

This place was busy but quiet. People were waiting for their Beignets in awkward silence. My husband and I ordered coffee and a small order for breakfast pick me up before our day trip. The coffee was ok a bit on the stronger side, the Beignets were fresh and pillowy soft. Was an ok experience with the food, just a little uncomfortable in atmosphere.

Local charm and quaint.

Great local place with puffy and delicious beignets. Definitely worth buying the dozen if you have more than 3 people!

We have been getting beignets here for over 20 years.... family tradition.... many times walking down to eat and enjoy! We were just here last August and from then til now something changed for the better!! While we got carry out these last two times the feel from the moment you walked in it felt fresh, clean and like there was care and intention!! Not only did the changes happen inside but these beignets were superb! They were perfectly done, evenly sized and exactly the 'taste of heaven and home' we expect. Thank you for the effort snd renewed energy on one of our family favorite places!!! We'll see you next time!

The beignets were delicious. They only have 2 versions now. The plain and vanilla filled. The service was wonderful and quick. The only thing that needs a little help is the cafe au latte. It needs some work.

Delicious, fast and friendly people in there. I bought a box of a dozen and took them back to condo and they were piping hot and delicious with coffee and a beach view!

A dozen beignets, to go!

This ain't no Cafe du Monde, but not bad for the price. This small cafe spot is located in an inconspicuous plaza, and even the interior seems pretty dark and dingy, but the beignets are surprisingly delicious. My friend and I came in one morning to pick up a batch... and walked out with a dozen piping hot beignets. There was quite a wait since someone had just called in a large beignet order. We were just happy to finally get them hot and fresh. As the Yelp page indicates, this shop is cash only so make sure to prepare accordingly at the ATM... If you're looking to switch things up from the traditional doughnut (ahem, City Doughnut) and not really wanting to go the boring (and pricier) brunch route, Cafe Beignets is the way to go!

Great beignets! It has been years since I have had some in NOLA but these had to be almost or just as good.

The beignets with stuffing is really great, as well as the price. The kids loved it. Just bring cash though no CC accepted.

Good beignets. Cash only. The filled beignets are better than the plain in my opinion.

Order the plain ones and they're ok. The filled ones are not the best. Also, they don't take credit cards so bring cash.

We like to do the beach loop from Navarre to Pensacola beach. It cuts through the gulf island national seashore and is a majestic drive with water on either side of you. Stopping at the local is going to be a given now on this loop. We enjoyed iced lattes and my husband had the breakfast burrito. They had a really good menu. Lots of different items and espresso based coffees. I want to go back and try the chicken salad wrap. The place is redone and very clean. I didn't go upstairs, but I think it's a liquor store. The downstairs has your standard market fair but with fresh produce which is a plus! It also has cute locally made items like the candles I photographed and some body oils. I found the Crew working the day I went to be a little lackluster, but they still made us great drinks and a great burrito so I really can't complain. They also let me use the restroom when I spilled my iced latte all over my white T-shirt. Aye! So glad I found this place. They have great style and I truly enjoyed the vibe of this humble market!

If iced coffee is listed as an option, it would help if the staff were more familiar with how to prepare it. Our server had to come back and ask for clarification, and what I received felt more like a flavored iced coffee with a shot rather than a true iced double espresso. I also had to add my own cream, which made it seem like hot coffee might be more their specialty. The food itself was solid, though a bit on the pricey side. The scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast were decent. The poached egg with salmon on grilled eggplant and arugula was tasty, and the home fries were a standout--unexpectedly excellent. Service was attentive and kind throughout, which I appreciated. However, the wait time after ordering was noticeably long, and there was a 3% convenience charge for using a debit card, which was noted on the receipt. I don't typically give less than 4 stars, but this feels like a place that could easily improve with some small adjustments.

Not surprising though considering the lackluster lazy service on top of the horrible garbage food. Just because you get vegan food doesn't mean you want to eat flavorless, overly salty or oily food that tastes like ash. If you prefer to use words like rancid, inedible, unsalvageable, carbonized or say tastes like ash, it's beyond redemption/saving, tastes or has a charcoal bitter aftertaste, rubbery and charred, extremely oily or extremely salty for "good food" and like lacksadaisical customer service then you should go here.

Looking at their menu with a variety of Mexican, Latin and middle eastern selections. What really stood out though was their prices. Everything listed seemed to be overpriced. The arepas were small with 3 on the plate and were tasty. The Boricuaso sandwich was just ok, not really something I'd order again. 4.8 star rating... hardly. I am being generous giving them 3 stars. What I would order next time would be one of their delicious appearing pastries. They looked wonderful
